This whole thing reads like it's a joke.
In my experience most IPO's for altcoins end badly - are people supposed to just deposit coino to your address and magically get credit?

This is a problem. Getting credit just by depositing to the address won't work. Remember that the blockchain is public, anyone can look up the transactions made to that address and claim it's theirs.

I am very surprised that no one here has bought votes at https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes I read a lot of complaining in this thread about the price going down from lack of interest. Don't you know it needs to hit bigger exchanges to generate more interest? That's not the only thing of course and yes, people are helping promoting this coin in other ways for sure. But it NEEDS to hit Cryptsy at least.
I have personally bought the last 100 votes and was planning on buying more, but I see that no one here in this community is willing to chip in. Very disappointing. If 100 of us all bought a measly 0.02 btc worth of votes (like I have already done), we would add 10,000 votes to cryptsy and be at 6th place already. Last time they added 4 coins so just think about it, we would almost be added at that point.
But like 95% of you aren't taking any action and instead sitting back, complaining, and doing nothing but watching this coin die. That's sad, so please I beg you do a little work and give up a little. Bribe Cryptsy and all other exchanges, tell your friends about Coino, stop posting anything negative, and stop selling off your coin for cheap. Please!

It is funny to see the reaction of some people here. 3 days no news and some of you going crazy. What do you want to hear? We stick to our plan on the roadmap.
I think it's impossible to satisfy some of you. You will just complain and complain again. Maybe Coino is not the right coin for you. No need to get aggressive again just think about it. We will not change our plan. We will update you guys WHEN we have something to update! We could just talk bullshit day by day and promise you things we can't keep. Do you want that?
You will just have to watch and see what will happen with coino. If you don't want that - please leave - really....please leave!
Btw. thanks for dumping the price and stop mining. This will make the real Coino supporter happy because they can buy cheap and mine with a low diff!

Holy calm down. Yea, calling ppl twats and acting like a 3 year old will get results. I for one hope it DOSENT get on cryptsy any time soon. EVERY one know what happens as soon as it hits cryptsy, Slight pump.. and then poof. Ide rather this coin mature naturally , in time, with no noncense hype, and typical alt-coin teenager rantings.

And by mature you mean see the price dropping until it reaches 1 sat right? Because that's what I see happening. The devs are nowhere to be found, there aren't any news about the roadmap. This is making people lose interest in this coin. We can see that by the drop of hashrate, price and activity on the forum.
Anyway, if the coin going in big exchanges it's a bad idea, what's your proposed solution for this?
I don't see this coin having a future unless there's a big change really soon.

EVERYBODY mining at dedicated pool shouls consider mining on a smaller pool. I do NOT want to see dedicated abandoned but I do want to see the network hash shared around a bit. We CANNOT have one pool with more than 50% of the hash so we need to spread the L O V E.
If you cannot decide what pool to mine I would seriously suggest Poolers pool www.poolers.org
Poolers has been here in this community almost since like day 1 and has been very active here and offers a GREAT coin(O) pool. LOW LOW LOW fees guys...
So, do us all a favor and help get poolers up to at least 80Mh/s this week by coming on over and joining the BEST pool party on the internet

This will help to ensure we have NO SINGLE POLL with more than 50% of the hashI just want to add that I've been mining on poolers pool since the beginning and I never had a problem. When I had questions, my e-mails were always answered. It is really a great pool.
I also have a friend mining on easy-mine for a while and I heard no complains from him. I has only a 0.5% fee and gives a 0.1 Coino bonus for the block finder. It's a nice alternative to poolers.

I don't think we'll be getting much more votes on mintpal since they changed the voting rules (you can only vote if you make at least one transaction there).
Also, the devs said a while ago that they we're paying mintal/cryptsy, is there any new info about that?

What you're saying is definitely true, it is easy to manipulate the price. However, if you look at the values in cryptorush, that's not really what's happening.

What happened to the mintpal and cryptsy bribes? The devs said they were gonna do it a while ago. I don't think we're getting much more votes on mintpal since they changed the voting rules.

You guys have seen the roadmap and all the things planned starting with the month of March but you are freaking out and leaving before the time has even come. At least give the dev a chance to follow through. Making something go from nothing to something takes people believing in it when everyone else doesn't. If you just follow the herd and get in and out when everyone else does the most any crypto coin will be good for is the 8 to 10 dollars per MH per day.

I've seen the roadmap and I believe the devs are working hard to make all those things happen. But, with the prices dropping at the are they are you think that companies will have any interest in Coino? I think something needs to happen really soon to bring more miners to Coino.

If you are holding Coino for long term, stop worrying about how the rate went from .0001 to .000035. This had to happen and the fact that it didn't drop to .00000001 within the first 2 weeks means that the people that are actually mining coino for long term are still holding. Trust me, if it weren't just multipools dumping, it would go to 1 satoshi real fast. It hasn't lost its value, it has just settled in to its actual value. The .0001 price at a diff of 3 was never real.

So this means that Coino won't reach 0.0001 again unless the difficulty goes way up. For that, we need a huge increase in the network hash power. You think we can get that many people to mine Coino?
Also, I just checked coinmarket, Coino is now at 0.00001116. I really hope you're right and I am wrong about what I am thinking
EDIT: Ok, the 0.00001116 price was a fluke. Is now at 0.00002100. Still lower than before tough.
