What is the minimum requirements to make a crypto currency exchange like bittrex?

Very curious.

On a simple way it is really a cheap but includinng exchange may call more bitcoins into it. But that will definitely give you return on investment.

All I see is down and down, we couldn't even break into 6s during the last rally.
If bitcoin isn't valuable then why use it instead of a new coin that doesn't have a few powerful people that all ready control all of it?
Thinking of cashing out all my BTC and going to vegas for an expensive weekend Smiley

Re: The Promising Future of Bitcoin
by
Coinsera
on 05/06/2014, 12:44:22 UTC
Bitcoin , is a strange word for me a month ago, and I have never heard of it before. But now, Bitcoin has consumed a lot of my work time, and even found its way to my life time. Everyday I find myself checking my computer or phone for the latest news of Bitcoin, which has opened my eyes. And I'm interested in it gradually. Here, I just share my ideas with you. I believe that Bitcoin has a promising future. There are some reasons to support my ideas.
On the one hand, from the adoption prospective, you can find Bitcoin in business, education, entertainment and other industries. In business, a major New York law firm decided to accept bitcoin. The firm says they recognize that bitcoin is here to stay, and are already playing an important role in business and the economy. In education, the Immersive Education Initiative(a not-for-profit organization) on Monday launched what is said to be the world's first global education scholarship fundable through bitcoin, which is good for spreading bitcoin. In entertainment, Snoop Dogg expressed interest in accepting bitcoin for his latest album, and former Spice Girl Mel B actually went through with it by offering her single up in exchange for the digital currency, which is an interesting development in the Bitcoin space and highlights the community's companies and other notable entities. On the other hand, Bitcoin seems to be have a healthy environment. The Financial Conduct Authority--a regulator in the United Kingdom--has made it clear they want to help the development of bitcoin business by having a regulatory environment that supports them, which can promote and create room for Bitcoin into the market. A permissive regulatory environment is key to helping digital currencies flourish, especially when speaking of bitcoin. Thankfully, it's nice that not only Uk regulators, but some other regulators, have recognized that point.
From the above, Bitcoin will be valuable, because it can be used in real world, not only online world. Therefore, I believe Bitcoin will help the world.

You are right more businesses in future will accept Bitcoin and some clear notifications from the worldwide govts are expected to make the life of bitoiner's easy. Though we have problem but definitely if it will come under a regulatory it will grow a lot.

Thanks

Re: "Interesting" problem. Why is this tx not being relayed by peers?
by
Coinsera
on 05/06/2014, 11:59:55 UTC

The tx is large (17K) but it includes >0.1mBTC per KB in fees, it has no double spent or unconfirmed inputs, and it has no dust outputs.  The interesting thing is that the tx was sent from Bitcoin Core (v0.91).  That node does not have direct connectivity to blockchain.info so it must have been relayed by at least one peer.  The recipient node is also using Bitcoin Core v0.91 but the tx is not in the memory pool and my assumption is that the recipients peers are dropping it.  The question is why?  Possibly a difference in relaying rules on older nodes (and the recipient is unlucky enough to have all older nodes as peers?  As of the time of the post it hasn't been included in a block but I am more concerned with what would keep it from being seen as an unconfirmed tx by the recipient node.

On edit: ok it was just included in a block and the recipient node instantly recognized and reported the confirmed tx but why wasn't it relayed prior to being confirmed.

In my understanding Input and Output rule should not be different, and same will definitely work.

Thanks

Re: Help ! Unconfirmed transaction
by
Coinsera
on 05/06/2014, 11:43:17 UTC
Will the transaction be made ?

Almost certainly.

More slowly ?

Probably

Is it possible to add fee to a already sent transaction ?

Not easily.

You might try looking into Peter Todd's replace-by-fee-tools, specifically bump-fee.py for an alternative.

Unfortunately it's quite urgent Sad

Then send a second payment (with a fee), and request a refund for the first payment.

If you want to make sure that Bitcoin Core always includes a fee, change the default fee in "Preferences" to 0.0001 BTC.

But if fee rate is different from Preferred rate how do this will be treated. ??

Re: best phone with which app
by
Coinsera
on 04/06/2014, 12:45:22 UTC
hey gang,

I was wondering which cell phone is the best phone to use for moving bitcoin?

I recently purchased some coin, took a picture of the receipt and tried to attach to email but couldn't. pretty sure it's the iphone because I couldn't upload the picture via iphone email client or when going to the email website on my iphone, either.  had to wait until I got back home to use desktop pc. also, I can't find an app for the iphone that will allow me to send coin. so I'm thinking it's probably the iphone.

any suggestions on which cell phone is best for bitcoin transfers and which app?  heavens, when is someone going to invent the bitcoin phone,  Grin !

appreciate all your help.

crypto

There is not any specific hardware required to trade bitcoin, there are lots of traders online who provide services in change of some fees.

Thanks
