Re: HODL...until when?
by

Depends on your aims really. You may want to have some funds for your old years, or to spend it on your kids, or buy a big house or just withdraw it in 3 years to live on fiat. You shall define your biggest and most expensive aim of your life and hold until you'll be able to afford it.

Re: Will Bitcoin be the biggest bubble economy in history?
by
CokeCoin
on 26/06/2021, 11:53:41 UTC
Big company's stocks or even US dollar more look like bubble than bitcoin. They print dollars non stop and it's not backed by anything. It's impossible with bitcoin, inflation is also impossible and it's capitalization is still several times lower than some big IT companies. Moreover it's backed by public consensus by people who believe it can be a great medium of exchange in future due to btc's advantages that we all know about.

Re: Do you worry about not being able to convert BTC to fiat in future
by
CokeCoin
on 26/06/2021, 11:48:01 UTC
While Bitcoin is mainly a way of investment and accumulation of money, not a way of paying, I don't worry about converting it to fiat, it's just time to hold. In a far future, with widening of btc acceptance in the world when we'll be able to actually buy things and pay with btc, it will also be no use to convert it.

Re: If Bitcoin is legal tender in your country, would you really spend it instead of
by

on 26/06/2021, 11:39:20 UTC
If Bitcoin were legal tender and most businesses were accepting it, I would definitely use and more likely would even turn all my fiat to bitcoin. Why? Because I don't want banks, tax departments, government to know where my money goes and how much. But it's a long time before such a wide acceptance and until that time we should hodl  Wink

You really shouldn't have invested all your funds so fast but on the other hand I think you'll be happy when everything you've invested will double up. For a long term distance you've done it all good but now you just have to wait longer for your XXs  Wink

Re: President of El Salvador: The government will provide citizens with $30 in BTC
by
CokeCoin
on 25/06/2021, 09:38:41 UTC
Respect to Salvador and it's president but one thing confuses me - will it be safe enough to hold bitcoin on the wallet built and controlled by government? I still believe that governments and hackers are the main threats to crypto community, may be I'm wrong putting them in a row.

Re: El Salvador started BTC campaign in their country
by

That's great initiative but first of all I think it's not safe enough to keep those $30 bitcoins on the wallet made by a government and better to transfer it. And secondly adopting bitcoin legally is not enough, there must be financial institutions and services that will allow to use this asset as any other currencies. Moreover, I've heard there are some disagreements between Salvador and IMF and World Bank

Re: Will stable coins take control of Bitcoin as crypto adoption in the future?
by
CokeCoin
on 25/06/2021, 09:25:10 UTC
Stablecoins have not yet been properly audited and it is still not known exactly how these assets are secured. Although Tether claim that USDT is tied to dollar, the big part of crypto community doesn't trust it. It may turn out as a governmental attempt to destroy cryptomarket from inside but even if it's true I don't think it will work out.

Re: Is Ethereum going to Die?
by

The main problems of Ethereum are high commissions and slow scalability - problems that EOS is solving better. But first of all the altcoins are tied to Ethereum and secondly it keeps developing, moving to Proof-of-Stake will solve lots of Ethereum problems (not all of them of course). For EOS there are still a lot of goals to reach but in future it will definitely be the main Ethereum competitor. I don't think any of these coins will die

Re: John McAfee Found Dead in Spanish Cell After Extradition Announcement

McAfee had an amazing life of visionary, libertarian and crypto evangelist. He earned $6 billion, became an enemy of more or less all states in the world simply for saying uncomfortable things and lived his life to the fullest. I wonder if it was one of his pranks when he said not to believe the suicide version and then committed it. Or was he right?..

Re: Most of your coins are going to be worthless in years.
by
CokeCoin
on 24/06/2021, 10:25:15 UTC
The only altcoins that will survive and grow in value are the ones that satisfy some real demand like Monero or of course Ethereum. And those alts are for long term investments. All these worthless coins like Shiba or Doge are for trading and it's really short period of time when you can actually trade it before it becomes zero value for the whole market.

It's a good opportunity to buy coins now in time of micro bear trend inside of big bullish trend. There's still possibility of price drop but I believe everyone who is buying now and doesn't panic will be so happy in 2-3 years

Re: Eth vs bnb
by
CokeCoin
on 23/06/2021, 14:26:50 UTC
In my opinion Ethereum is a great asset for long term investment that will never die and that will always have a demand from public however it can grow or fall on short distances. BNB is a coin for one purpose only and for one ecosystem only so it might be good for short or medium distance but who knows what will happen to Binance in a far future. So it depends on your strategy.

Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment
by
CokeCoin
on 23/06/2021, 14:21:35 UTC
The main thing you should check for long-term investments is if a coin satisfies any real public demand. For example, Ethereum, Zcash, Monero definitely does it in my opinion but I might be wrong. Any coin is a good of future market and it will stay on the market and grow in value if it solves any problem effectively.

Re: How do you make money with NFTs?
by
CokeCoin
on 23/06/2021, 14:17:49 UTC
Unfortunately NFTs now is more a hype thing and this hype is fading away. To gain money on your art there you need to have a HUGE fanbase and part of this base must be ready to deal with crypto. Moreover, unless NFTs will be legally approved there's no real transfer of propietary rights when one buys a NFT. But it can happen in future and that's really high potential.

Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins?
by
CokeCoin
on 23/06/2021, 14:12:26 UTC
Among the old altcoins I'd especially recommend Monero and Zcash because it will definitely be demand for what these alts provide. In general, you should search if a coin satisfies some real current or future.

Sounds very encouraging but it has always been hard to earn. In the past because of lack of information and now because it's too much of it and you can't decide what's useful for you and what's not, what's true and what's not. So be careful.

Re: New Scam Strategy

Sometimes you start to think that crypto market really need some regulating institution that will help to avoid scam cause scammers are everywhere now and it's getting harder and harder to identify them.
