Re: If i send my bitcoins to a wrong address, what happens?
by
Cold-Heart
on 15/12/2017, 16:02:23 UTC
Hi!
As the title says, what happens if i get an address wrong? Do the coins get lost?
If that's what happens, why not change the code in Bitcoin, so that if the bitcoin network cant detect that address, returns the bitcoins to you?
Actually, if you sent bitcoins to other wallet then you just screwed up big time. Especially if it is a big amount of money, although if you know whom you just send to then you can communicate and ask to return the value that was transferred into his or her account. But it is hard to trace and determine who and where the user of the wallet is, because it is unique in every way.

Re: Bitcoin in 2018

The journey of bitcoin from 2009 to 2017 is very interesting. Although the stories of individuals(investors) are very interesting and motivational that how they initiated and what problems they faced at earlier stages.

In 2017 the number of businesses accepting bitcoin continues to increase. Where you see the bitcoin in 2018?
2018 is almost there and we are not sure if bitcoin would increase or decrease its value for that certain year. but as of now, we don't really know what would happen but we just predict and expect that it would be better than last year. So now, I think that i could use bitcoins for my need because of the discounts and events that could happen and occur at the new year or even Christmas.

Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ?

I'm wondering why bitcoin was made if there are too many currencies in each country, why would anyone add or make a type of currency in the internet? For easier and faster transactions or so ?
I don't think that it is dangerous. I think that bitcoins would be dangerous if we use it illegally, for example we use bitcoins in a campaign or any job that we announced and you are going to reward them for the job they did, but instead you just keep it and you don't pay your workers, then it could be a source of your danger coming from the people you tricked to.

Re: Should I invest now or wait a while?
by

on 14/12/2017, 15:20:48 UTC
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!
I think you need to invest as early as possible, because as the value of the bitcoin increase, the amount of bitcoin that you could invest decrease. but if you think that you it is not time yet to invest, it's your choice and your decisions as well. but this time, bitcoin's value just increase at every moment. but you should also be aware that bitcoins could also decrease its value in an instant.

Re: Why is bitcoin price so high?
by

Bitcoin price has stratospherically risen leaving minor players with massive gains and bigger players millionaires. Is this a bubble? Are the gains real?
I think bitcoins increase its value and its rate because bitcoins become rare to very rare as time goes by. Mining makes us earn bitcoins or an equivalent bitcoin, but the fact that there are a lot of mining company or people mining bitcoins it becomes harder than past 2 years or more. although there isn't an exact amount of bitcoins that could be mined or used, it will increase as long as there is bitcoins to be mined.

Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children.
by

on 14/12/2017, 14:53:38 UTC
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh
Don't you think that bitcoins would increase and maintain its value for all those years? But then we don't know what would happen if it increase, then your kids would have an allowance or a budget that could be spend for their needs. But when it fall, you just lost a big amount of value for your kids and just regret everything about investing it for a long time.

Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin
by

on 14/12/2017, 14:36:25 UTC
Ok guys. It's time to inform porn industry that we want to pay in Bitcoins. You have any ideas on how to do it? Bitcoin is perfect payment method for p0rn - anonymous and very fast. And they don't care about fluctiation because they profit anyway.
If some major sites will start accepting bitcoins, there will be huge demand for Bitcoins  Cheesy  What do you think?

For some reason, some people like or even love pornography and want to do business with it. But don't you think it's kinda weird to use bitcoins for those things? Smiley . But then, we can't control other people in every way or in every situation. So, we could do anything we want on our money as long as it is in a good way or legal. So for me, we could use real money for those things and not bitcoins. Smiley

Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin?
by

on 14/12/2017, 14:31:56 UTC
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks
No, I suggest you make bitcoin as a second or side-job in other words. Because bitcoin is very high right now, and it could increase it's value everyday. But we also need to think that bitcoin could also decrease its value from very big to very small, and we don't know when it would happen. But I think that you need to do the things you love when working at your job.

Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin?
by

on 08/12/2017, 16:08:53 UTC
What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink
For me, The biggest disadvantage of bitcoins is that in a certain time or a certain event, the value of bitcoin will drop down very dramatically. The fact that the numbers just depends on the value of the bitcoins that can be converted to cash or dollars. this makes it risky or hard because we don't know when or what would be the reason of its drop. But I guess it wont happen that quickly, or will it? Smiley

Re: Bitcoin fees are ridiculous at the moment, will they go down soon?
by
Cold-Heart
on 08/12/2017, 16:04:02 UTC
So over the past 48 hours as we all know bitcoin price soared to new heights and is now going through a price correction. The network fess though for sending have also shot up, it no longer makes sense for sending small amounts which is a kicker as my online business takes btc as form of payment :/  What does everyone think, will the fees go down over time and if u had to hazard a guess how long? I'm hoping it settles over the next few days.

For now, I don't think it would fall down big time. It would take years as well like it did on getting higher, but who knows what would happen in the future right? I guess this is part of the risk that we are taking if we want to earn bitcoins, but I also think that bitcoins would still increase its price because it becomes more rare or difficult in mining bitcoins.

Re: Possible reasons that Bitcoin will be gone
by
Cold-Heart
on 07/12/2017, 15:01:42 UTC
Can you think of possible reasons why Bitcoin could be gone, banned or lose value?
For me, there are 2 things that bitcoin would be gone. first is time, as time goes by the risk and the amount of bitcoins could decrease or increase as well, but there would be a time that bitcoin would reach its limit at start to fall down and be forgotten. And second is the other virtual money, as other virtual money increase its value, the people are converting and starting to switch to the other fresh and possible good outcome or value that it could give them.

Re: Where to start with Bitcoin?
by

Hi,

I am afraid I know relatively little about Bitcoin, but it is something that I would like to know more about.  While I appreciate that I have largely "missed the bus", I feel it is something still worth learning about and possibly investing in for the long term.

Could anyone kindly give me any advice on how to get started with learning about Bitcoin please?

Thank you.
Well if you are using this website to earn money or earn bitcoins, I would suggest that you should focus more on the activities or high quality post that you could get or do. Then if you have enough activities, the next thing you could do is join a decent amount of bitcoins or money in a week, month, or even per post. Although this needs a lot of time and effort, I guess it is still worth it if you really want to earn bitcoins.

I want to buy some coins. Now the Btc price is around 10000$.best thing is buy btc or ethereum now
As of now, ethereum is starting to become famous or known in the community like bitcoins. Although we are not sure if ethereum is going to become as high as the bitcoin value, maybe it could be a good idea or a good way to invest at ethereum at it's low price or average value. But for me, I have thinked about investing at ethereum at this time around, but yet there are still also risk and luck if the ethereum will still become higher or this is just for a short time values.

Re: How long bitcoin will survive ?
by

on 06/12/2017, 15:17:16 UTC
Have you guys ever think to how long is bitcoin will survive in this world ? Well, I mean is there anything that can make bitcoin bankrupt or low price, then possibly will make bitcoiners doesn't want to invest anymore. And also is there any solution to avoid those thing. Just wonder to know.
For me, I think that bitcoins increase its value due to the rarity and the difficulty of mining it, i guess bitcoins would just fall or become useless if there would be no bitcoins to mine with. this is the worst case scenario for me, but i guess bitcoins won't last forever due to the different types of money or virtual money that we could find nowadays.

Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN?
by
Cold-Heart
on 06/12/2017, 15:13:22 UTC
Hi guys, I've been in the world of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for some time, some relatives and friends ask me to buy gold or bitcoin to save, and I answer:

1. If you want to be safe without worrying about buying gold, because its price is very stable, at 1200 dollars an ounce.

2. If you want to invest in bitcoin I invite you to investigate what technology is about, I tell you that it is a new technology that will revolutionize the world, it is decentralized, distributed, without control of any kind of government, its quantity is limited. that allows it to be deflamatory, with the passage of time it takes more value, but it is your RESPONSIBILITY if you make the investment in bitcoin, I only tell you the advantages but it is up to you to investigate the subject.

WHAT WOULD YOU RESPOND?
Well first, I would say or ask why should I buy gold? I mean, what is the purpose of buying gold and just hiding it at my home and collecting dust. second, i guess bitcoin would be more good to suggest due to the increase of the value or the amount that it could be converted in the near future. third, if bitcoin would be his or her choice, i would also say that bitcoins won't stay high forever, it could decrease or increase as time goes by so be careful. Cheesy

Why is it reckless? Super smart if you ask me.
well.. if you think of it, a thousand dollars could be good for investing but isn't it weird because bitcoins could drop off or not but this may be a big risky to do for a teenager.. and i suggest to focus more on studies and for future jobs. although we have different methods and strategies to make our lives better than before.
