I don't understand why so few people separates the cards as far as they can and why nobody change card orientation so fans don't get blocked by other cards.

3x 5870 and 1x 5850.

The extender on the leftmost 5870 is routed between the heatsink and the pcb of the 5850

I see a 600W OCZ PSU there and another PSU.
1. Could you please describe the PSUs connections setup?
2. How do you turn that on and off with two PSUs?
Thank you!

Argentinians use US Dollar as inflation hedge, store of value and de facto currency

OMG, that is so sad.

It was the dude printed in 100 u$s bills that said: "They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Pretty hard to disagree.

Argentininan goverment is re-opening foreign currency exchange, with many restrictions, but still they are re-opening.

I don't think the enemy is more the goverment than it is the banks. Users need to realize they are being f*cked.

Some numbers:
  • internet users: ~50% but just 25% @ home (cybercafes are really popular)

Not anymore. I think because of widespread adoption of smarthphones, cybercafes are no longer popular as they used to be 4 years ago.

The main problem for adoption in Argentina I think is the lack of exchange service other than localbitcoin. People need somewhere to throw their pesos at and get btc easily. Huge business oportunity that nobody took yet, I can't understand why.

Re: Objective Value

Is it possible for value to be objective?

Absolutely not. Valuation requires a valuer. It's not even coherent to speak of "objective value."

Agree.
The closest thing to objective value imo would be mass, or some kind of energy transformation ratio.

This reminds me of a thought I had, that there should be some kind of "objective political power" measurement. And that it should be based on how much actual energy a given person may control, regardless of how he chooses to use it and if he chooses to use it at all.

Why does everyone hate Heineken.

It's a easy and dumb way to pretend you have good taste.

3. What is your opinion on alt coins? I know that in a previous answer you say that you don't own them, but does that mean you do not like the idea of them?

winky_pop:
3) Interesting, but I don't think they solve any "problems" that Bitcoin can't address itself.

There be a huge bid wall on Bitstamp at 830. I've usually seen those before a dump!

Don't worry, it will not be there for long. Watch.

Now it will go away.

Still there.
