Re: They want you to panic :->

That is definitely true and you are indeed right there buddy. In this current situation, they want us all to panic and sell our crypto currencies at low prices in this truly downfall of Bitcoin. Sooner or later I still have a strong believe that Bitcoin will rise up again. I can say that this just a part of some other people's strategy.

Nice try. They will have to wait until the end of time! Grin
We're all smart here  Cool

Whether you panic and sell or not, sometimes depends on the amount you have invested and many other factors, so, sometimes if they want us to sell, for some guys there's no option, I guess.

I dont really get you guy's whenever you encounter situation like this you panic because the price goes down.

If you really trust this technology why are you losing your hope everytime there is  a small storm coming on bitcoin? Panicking makes you blind on what you really need to do, Instead of investing more because it is a good opportunity to buy you are selling your bitcoin's and taking your loss.  Cheesy

This is what those whales really want to happen wait for the price dump and take that opportunity to invest more while you are selling your bitcoin on cheaper prices.

I hope this post will enlighten your mind.  Smiley

Many of those guys are obedient traders who do whatever their Master Whale tells them. So, I agree, Enlightenment, that's what they really need now.

Re: Bitcoin has no competition

All those FUDsters that where saying year ago how Bitcoin would fail because another currency would take over get proven wrong year after year. The more time Bticoin is alive, the stronger it gets and the bigger the network effect. Sorry but there will not be a Bitcoin 2.0. Bitcoin will go to 100k+ per coin in the next 5 to 10 years, it will absorb all the value researched in the field if not directly through protocol improvements then through sidechains.

Bitcoin will remain the only solid coin. The only coin that survived for the longest time (other coins can't claim this unless they invent a time machine).
There will be alts that pump really hard and make people millionaires, but no alt is going to surpass Bitcoin's strength and solidity. No coin will get a bigger marketcap. In the long term people holding 21+ BTC will be rewarded by history with rich-tier status for seeing the value in it before most people did. Do not let the FUDsters trick your mind or the trolls try to derrail the excellent job being done by Core devs.

Let's continue then our path towards inevitable triumph.

I noticed this post was created nearly 2 years ago and you told us to continue our path towards inevitable triumph and you were right.
After these two past years I almost have no doubt Bitcoin has no competition. Even Ethereum (with all respect) is left behind.

Being a linguist, I believe every language and culture has something to offer in this regard, but we cannot make our judgments based on one video, can we? It depends...

Re: Can a pastor become a politician without lying?

Politicians and lies so close. They deceive people in most of their ways just to get their ways through so the question is that ,can pastor become a politician without telling any lies to get his way through?

May I restate your question?

Can anyone (!) become a politician without lying? The answer seems too obvious to discuss...

The idea of living in a libertarian society is very appealing, BUT... it looks like very few people are ready to accept the rules of the game, you know what I mean? A libertarian society is a highly organized society, which remains a dream for most of us... Sad

Unfortunately, it seems to be true and mining contributes a great deal to our climate change. But it's not the only factor and I believe the decision-makers around the world are aware of and working on it. At least, I like to think so...

There are loads of them, really. Even here, in this forum. But then again, maybe they are or might be not that stupid. What if they are posted on purpose?  Cool

A good point. Maybe you're right. They might just be trying hard to get you involved in a discussion Cool

More exchanges are fine as long as they're legitimate and secure. More competition means better rates for everyone.

Well said. I can't agree more.

Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits?
by
ComaJoma
on 31/07/2018, 02:32:43 UTC
Never. Both the Governments and the banks are not supporting cryptocurrency because they know that if the people will start using cryptocurrency, then they would loose their control over the people. Government and banks are not able to control cryptocurrency and the related activities so they will never support it.

Well, actually, both the governments and the banks should get interested in bitcoin deposits with the banks for one simple reason: as soon as banks start accepting bitcoin deposits, they got us by the balls.
Lemme explain my point.
Have you ever opened a bank account? Before you can deposit money, a bank must identify you. That means the moment you make a bitcoin deposit you lose your anonymity, which is just what government needs. So, I believe both the governments and the banks might be really interested in that because it's really beneficial for them.

Re: More Regulations For Cryptocurrency?
by
ComaJoma
on 29/07/2018, 11:47:46 UTC
We will see more regulations no matter the Bitcoin and no matter its market. It's already taking place slowly. It's up to us to accept it or reject it and raise our voice. Making a currency has no use if in the end it is regulated. Basically, Bitcoin was created to get back some privacy and to be free from governments and banks

Maybe there'll be some hybrid regulations respecting the privacy on the one hand, and safeguarding the cryptomarket players? I mean, the government is determined to find a way at least to make its people pay taxes. Otherwise, I'm afraid, they might consider creating some obstacles...
I have a feeling that we need the crypto market legalized/regulated (i.e. seen by the governments as trustworthy), anyway...

Re: How have you impact people with cryptocurrency knowledge
by

What I do is I just explain things to people who don't understand it or understand it the wrong way. Sure, I cannot and I'm not going to advise them about investing in crypto, but at least I do my best to raise public awareness in my own way so that when the time comes everyone should be ready to take part in a new paradigm of living in a crypto society. That's the best I can do.
