I only got the free coins and staked them up to about 67,000. Should have taken the .5 BTC when it was possible.

Most staking coins share the same code. I had yellowcoin not open during the high POS at the start and when I finally opened and unlocked it, it tried to stake 2000 coins or so which were not accepted by the network.

There is no reason for them to wait. Speculators who want to rush to dump their coins can stay up and wait or go right to hell. The coin developer definitely does not owe anything to people who want to dump the coin. You can still buy on the exchanges if that's what you want to do. Lending legitimacy to these kinds of threats is definitely not high on their priority list.

I bet almost anything it will be released when it is ready and there's no reason for it to be any other way.

The entitled American attitude that everything should occur between 9 and 5 EST is idiotic. Go away with that lame crap. There is always a part of the world for which it is the best time for them to get a wallet or coin release.

Edit: Also they specifically said "A wallet update is scheduled for today - 04/28 - pending the results of final tests" so if that means releasing at 11:59 PM EST and keeping their word then that's exactly what they should do because that in itself is worth a thousand times more than what idiot pump and dumpers think about the coin. Very true but plainly stated... buy support is always the end-goal. If nothing else having WC/DOGE attracts the shibes (who provide much of the buy support for DOGE which has kept the price even in the face of MASSIVE dumping for MONTHS) and is like free advertising on the exchanges that might do it.

The coin launched and died. Then like a month or something later a new website appears about an IPO and then vanishes having never done one. At one point the chain forked and at another point you couldn't download the blockchain anymore.

Now there's this and... er? What was with all the false starts? Why is this one any different?

I admit I might not know the whole story... but this is my perspective on it having watched on and off since noirbits was a whisper. In my mind I'm tired of seeing the "noir"-anything name on stuff. It's like these guys REALLY want to do something but keep on... not.

It is important to be specific.

As advertised "10% Daily" would seem to mean compound interest i.e. each day every day you earn 10% of stake.

That would easily result in extremely massive numbers within months.

Can someone lay it out exactly point by point what the POS for this coin really is in plain terms?

I sold my BC to buy elsewhere and turned my miners to WC instead of what I bought so I guess that I accidentally the WC.

I have from the shadows watched very closely at least 40 altcoin launches of all types and sizes and a community that pulls together this quickly to make sure the coin does well is extremely rare. Everyone involved here wants to do the best thing for the coin. That the premine is gone is a huge, huge bonus. Now we don't ever have to talk about it again.

EVERY coin is tested in a huge way. SOMETHING always happens. There is always some BS, some troll article, some huge DDOS attempt and always always there are MANY haters. I honestly believe cryptos have attracted trolls from other communities that hate on coins just to do it. I have actually seen outright copies of account usernames used to troll previous altcoins that are now trolling the latest one. With a little knowledge of language you can even tell a few of the ones with totally different names. It's almost always someone without any posts.

That the whitecoin developers, creators, new coders, community members have ALL pulled together is a rare thing. That they are actively and without a lot of drama overcoming these obstacles and getting help from the outside - members from all over the crypto community have come together to help WC - tells me that WC is not something bound only to one group of devs.

TLDR: I have only ever seen one other coin with a community even close to approaching what WC has in people that will take on work, act professionally, help each other and hold their wallets when the time comes and we all know that this coin is SUCH COIN WOW.
