Dear Community,
Firstly we would like to start by thanking our extremely supportive community for your patience and support. While it may have appeared like limited activity at the surface since the end of the ICO, you can rest assured that we have been extremely busy behind the scenes getting everything ready to go in preparation for exchange listings.
Its been several days since we broke the news of the Concierge.io rebrand. This is something we have given very long, considered and carefully thought over. In the early days of working on Concierge, we were in the process of trying to secure the .com which had no website at the time. Unfortunately, a multi-billion dollar company was able to acquire that domain first.
To move forward and become a truly global travel brand that would appeal to everyone, weve always believed a .com was essential to that goal. And so this has provided us a unique opportunity to develop something that we believe will become a name synonymous with travel. That name is Travala.
We love it and hope you do too. Travala is ours, its us, its a unique and very travel-oriented, marketable brand that is easy for all nations and languages to use. We will also be able to build a very strong online presence with it and have already started that process and have listed some of our new social pages at the end of this.
What about CGE tokens?
By now some of you may be wondering what about CGE tokens?. Weve been working on that too. Obviously, it would not make sense to have Travala and a CGE ticker and so we would like to now also introduce you to AVA our new Travala ticker. Why AVA you might be asking. Again, this is something weve given much thought to. There are now several travel projects starting up in the crypto space, some of which are using the more obvious tickers. We consider Travala to be unique and it should stand out from the crowd. It will also work in our favour on exchanges where AVA will often appear at or near the top of listings.
So where to from here and what does that mean for exchange listings you may be thinking? Well, thats the best part. We will be able to keep our original promise of listing within a month of the end of the ICO Main Sale while also having the rebrand completed first. And thats why weve been so busy. Theres still be a lot of work for us to complete prior to the exchange listings including changing CGE over to AVA plus we will also need to swap the concierge.io website over to Travala.com. During that time, you may see several days or downtime while that occurs and testing is completed but we will release more detailed updates about that as it occurs.
