A recent article reported that China's outlawing of crypto transactions backfires: more Chinese are turning to underground projects and decentralized exchanges without the CCP's control. Do you see global implications for the crypto market?

How Twitter can make impact in the BTC world?

"Social media platform Twitter has finally rolled out its Bitcoin tipping feature that will allow users to tip their dearest content creators using the leading cryptocurrency by market cap. "
Source: https://mycryptoparadise.com/twitters-bitcoin-tipping-feature-is-finally-here/

Consider the following scenario: there are 350 million monthly active Twitter users, and they can all send BTC to one another.
I still feel pretty overwhelmed by this news despite having had a whole day to absorb it.

The legacy-system-free monetary exchange now allows millions upon millions of people to do business.

What impact are you predicting for us in the future?

Elizabeth Warren claims
by
ConnerDalfino
on 23/09/2021, 10:12:26 UTC
A six-month period has seen $80 million stolen from Crypto as a result of scams, claims Elizabeth Warren. Aside from the $11.11 Billion in fines US banks received for shady business, she neglects to mention the $12 Billion in overdraft fees consumers will pay to banks in 2020!

What is your opinion in this regard?

Bitcoin or Gold: Superiority
by
ConnerDalfino
on 18/09/2021, 10:30:11 UTC
Question

The price of gold fell 10.5% since the beginning of the year, but the price of Bitcoin gained 332%. Bitcoin, in the same decade, has returned 146% annually, compared to gold's 0% per year. Is it really necessary for us to still debate which of the two is superior?

Here are my thoughts

A valuable store of value and medium of exchange, gold has been around for five thousand years.

Despite Bitcoin's success, do not let your enthusiasm for it turn into arrogance or (worse still) stupidity. In addition to bitcoins, the world values many other assets, including gold and oil.

How do you feel about this?

Is the security of exchanges and wallets sufficient?
by
ConnerDalfino
on 04/09/2021, 10:38:58 UTC
It's true that 'not your key, not your coin', and that there are several wallets and services available to cover yourself.

There may be a point at which any cryptocurrency (whether Bitcoin or another) is held on exchanges/wallets run by small/new companies.

The small players have limited resources. How do they ensure they are sufficiently protected? Why don't there be hacks every other day?

Can anyone share their experiences with BitFlyer?
by
ConnerDalfino
on 23/08/2021, 11:32:13 UTC
The BitFlyer app seems to be a good alternative with no commissions and a lower fee structure than Binance. The company is headquartered in Japan and operates on the EU market from Luxembourg. In my opinion, their site is clean and simple, since they don't offer a lot of coins and tools.

Could anyone tell me more about this exchange? What is their legitimacy? What kind of experiences have you had?

Due to China's departure from Bitcoin, Western societies can re-establish their position at the forefront of new financial markets of the 21st century. Western Nations that wish to counter China's rising economic power will find this move by China to be a positive step.

It's a good time for bitcoin
by
ConnerDalfino
on 22/06/2021, 09:10:56 UTC
As each day passes without the 30K being broken, the sellers grow increasingly frustrated.

Holdings of HODLers increase with every passing day.

As time passes, the consolidation becomes longer.

Diamond-handed retailers earn money every day in order to buy more bitcoin.

Each day brings companies and institutions that are considering buying one step closer to a very good price.

Our footsteps are being followed by more and more countries every day.

Bitcoin is becoming more popular every day.

Death will be imminent if the bears are unable to deal a deadly blow.

what is point of Tehnical analysis?
by
ConnerDalfino
on 21/06/2021, 10:50:05 UTC
Sideways trends have proved that technical analysis doesn't always mean anything.

About a month ago we hit 30k, and TA is constantly predicting a breakout up or down, usually up, but instead the market crabs sideways, something only a few people predicted, and most of them didn't use technical analysis to figure it out.

TA is such a pointless endeavor in a market that is so controlled and volatile by the current BTC price action, especially if it is dependent upon the behavior of whales.

What do you think about it?

The SEC announced it will not regulate cryptocurrencies this year
by
ConnerDalfino
on 16/06/2021, 07:12:44 UTC
My outlook is positive. Technological advances make it impossible for regulators to keep up. We have hundreds of other cryptos working as testbeds for new features while bitcoin innovations are purposefully slow. Eventually, regulations will have to be adjusted to help sidestep them. For years, it'll be a game of cat and mouse, and I'm confident that Defi innovations will benefit the small, poor people of the earth greatly.

Will Paul Todor be the influencer to take BTC to the moon?
by

Paul Tudor Jones said bitcoin is a great way to protect his wealth over the long run and is part of his portfolio just like gold. "I like bitcoin as a portfolio diversifier. Over time it's a great diversifier," he said. "For me, it's just a way of kind of foundationally looking at how do I protect my wealth," he added.

Investing at least 5% of your assets in #Bitcoin is recommended by Paul Tudor Jones, and institutions and talking heads are already going absolutely bananas... Do you have any thoughts on where this will lead to Bitcoin? Is it moon time?

I will not agree to a "Bitcoin Mining Council."
by
ConnerDalfino
on 14/06/2021, 05:52:24 UTC
There's no denying it: Bitcoin is the only DECENTRALIZED method of payment in the world. No one controls how it is operated or mined.

Neither mining nor any other council is necessary. A rich person is yet again trying to exert influence over Bitcoin. Bitcoin uses energy and it is not a secret. The choice is yours whether you want to take it or not. It is not Bitcoin that is ruining the world, it is fossil fuel plants, cutting of forests, and millions of factories. Wouldn't it be better if they addressed that?

Why not just use any other Cryptocurrency if they don't like the energy of using Bitcoin? I believe that their biggest concern isn't energy use.

What are your thoughts on the matter?

Can El Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin as legal currency increase interest in Sat
by
ConnerDalfino
on 12/06/2021, 06:53:41 UTC
On Google, I found that the minimum wage there is between $200 and $300 per month.

There is another site that reports that the average income is $1,700 a month.

Whatever the truth of these figures may be, it appears that the people there are not generally wealthy, at least compared to US dollars.

Because of this, owning a Bitcoin must seem unfathomable to a vast majority of people living there so do you think this will lead to more people talking about Satoshis?

Possibly raising Bitcoin's interest even further?

Apparently, some American still believes you need to buy an entire Bitcoin.

If the market is bullish, it's easy.

Not selling might be hard if plenty of headlines are thrown into Bitcoin. Great job to stay at the top. When things are boring, making intelligent judgments is how to generate a huge profit for bitcoin.

Don't buy now with your money and put it all into it to get rich.

Put a little each month, no matter the price. You would want that for your children and grandchildren.

DCA is the solution for not being able to get swindled when China bans bitcoins again.

No matter how long it takes, it will pay off. You won't lose your home or have to move back into your parents' house

How come major exchanges have not yet adopted the lightning network?
by
ConnerDalfino
on 07/06/2021, 06:35:33 UTC
Mostly asked question:
Quote
How far are we along with the lightning network? What are the major milestones we need to achieve? It doesn't seem like Lightning Network wallets are very popular? Lightning is not yet integrated into most major wallets

My thoughts:

Lightning networks produce very few fees, and major exchanges depend on fees in order to make money.

The only exception is Bitaroo, a bitcoin-only exchange in Australia. They offer free lightning depositing. It works flawlessly.

What are your thoughts?

The fall from 65k to $30k was the best thing to ever happen to Bitcoin
by
ConnerDalfino
on 04/06/2021, 09:43:21 UTC
⭐ Merited by Welsh (1)
Bitcoin's drop from 65k to $30k is one of the best things that has ever happened.

Take a moment to consider:

-Numerous institutions sit on the sidelines waiting for your money.

-Occasionally, a crash occurs.

-News reports about it are more common.

-Over half of the value of Bitcoin is lost, but the network continues to function. Work continues on upgrades (Taproot).

-HODLing and buying the dip are more popular than ever before, according to analysts.

-The new price offers buyers a great opportunity to enter the market.

-Summer will see US banks beginning to offer cryptocurrency products.

-Banks in Germany are legally allowed to start on July 1.

It's unstoppable

Bitcoin should be taxed
