Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal?
by

on 15/09/2018, 13:46:39 UTC
Surely it will have a positive impact, Bitcoin has the potential to have a big impact in Southeast Asia because most people do not have access to banking services and a large market for remittances. Although the Bitcoin ecosystem in the region is largely underdeveloped, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam are countries that have more promising opportunities thanks to the profitable markets and the progress they make in the Bitcoin ecosystem. The country is also the third most populous country in Southeast Asia.

Because bitcoin cannot be controlled from any party and bitcoin is able to overcome economic problems and can also be used for promising and safe investments to use. As for what is blocking it because it is not legalized by the government, for example Indonesia.

Re: May Bitcoin be considered money according to Islam?
by

It can be concluded that the use of bitcoin as a currency in Islamic law is permissible. However, its use is not legal in Indonesia because Bank Indonesia policy in determining the currency recognized in Indonesia is only Rupiah.
In fiqh review, muamalah against Bitcoin transactions in the process using the Sharf agreement. Sharf is an activity of buying and selling currencies with currencies, both similar and non-similar, such as buying and selling gold with gold, silver with silver, or gold with silver.
Judging from the conditions of the type of transaction, the Bitcoin transaction is included in the type of spot transaction. Spot transactions or Spot Transactions are foreign exchange buying and selling transactions for delivery at the time, with a settlement time of around two days. The law is permissible, because it is considered cash while the time of two days is considered as a process of settlement of international transactions.

Panic is sure to exist, because the price of bitcoin has dropped, but I'm sure bitcoin will rise again, the price of bitcoin has dropped because of the declining public demand and some countries that prohibit using bitcoin.

I am not panicking, I am sure bitcoin will rise again as in 2017. As you might know, at present, almost all transactions involving online shops or e-commerce have begun to use digital payment systems. Various e-commerce, even up to government agencies and public services, also glance at e-payment as their payment method. So bitcoin will rise again.

Re: Current cryptocurrency market situation
by
Cool1
on 29/08/2018, 03:43:45 UTC
In 2018 we have to admit that this is a tough year for cryptocurrency, because almost all types of crypto experience a substantial price decline. Like the current Bitcoin price falling to $ 6,000 from the highest price of $ 20,000 in mid-December 2017. But in July 2018 it was a good month for bitcoin, because it had bounced back from $ 5,755 at the end of June to $ 8,200 at the end of July. But currently the price of bitcoin is still under intense pressure, and in the first 2 weeks of August 2018 the price of bitcoin was depressed at the level of $ 6,500. Seeing the movement of bitcoin which is currently under intense pressure, Forbes believes that bitcoin might only touch the price of $ 9,500 by the end of 2018.

I'm sure bitcoin will rise again from some of the first predictions made by Tom Lee, one of Wall Street Strategy Experts, the prospect of Bitcoin is a long-term prospect that remains promising. Lee wrote a note to Fundstrat Global Advisors clients that the price of bitcoin at the beginning until mid 2018 would reach more than $ 6,000. He also predicts that the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise to a price of $ 25,000 by 2022.
