Re: Is every country really corrupt?
by

on 24/12/2017, 07:27:52 UTC
I don't know, but everyone from my country thinks that ours is the most corrupt in world. Is it the same in yours too? If so...why, or how come?
Yes i understand that majority of the countries at this time are corrupt like my own country but still there are countries that trully loves their citizens and not think of gaining money out if them.

The problem is the human, I think most people would take advantage of others while in a position of power.

I don't think trading for other coins counts, does it? Almost everyone seems to be in it with the hopes it keeps going up and up.

Re: THE BEST IN BITCOIN CASINOS (Survey)

For those there to gamble it should be provably fair and house edge. Everything else, while nice, their absence could mean the house could afford a lower edge.

However, for the casino, having things like faucet and affiliate program can increase their player count. This is important, since people are far less likely to play at an empty casino. You'd take a loss from those programs, but make it up by attracting more big bettors; feed the little fish in order to catch the whales.

Re: The Big Showdown - BTC vs BCH

BTC, even if just for the fees, is currently unusable in small amounts. You might say it should have its place with bigger transactions, but why even pick it for that when an alternative can do both large and small better? I know things may change in the future, but that's what it is now.

I've moved to coins other than these 2 for the time being.

we don’t have to worry about these artificial pumping of the coins.

All coins were pumped from nothing. Am I missing something?

Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour!

Hey guys.

Don't know what is going on today with me on this site, but I've figured out a strategy on the multiply BTC which has earned me 10k satoshi today. I know it's not possible to game the system per definition, I should always lose, but I'm only winning at the moment. My Multiply BTC earnings are currently positive. How is that possible?

And also because I'm currently betting huge amounts of money I get a lot of reward points and lottery tickets. This also feels like I'm 'gaming the system', I almost feel that I'm doing illegal stuff here.

Some advice?

I got a loss so I you're just on a lucky streak there. The number is generated server-side so you shouldn't be able to alter it (without knowing).

Try restartng your browser/reloading the page and see if it goes.

Never mind, lost all my earnings  Tongue

You were just getting lucky. There's the possibility of winning, but it does always favor the house and the more you bet the closer you should get to expectation. Certainly, there's going to be people, that, against all odds, keep winning overall.

I live in a peaceful country without a war. My country prohibits the use of guns. So I do not use a gun as it is very dangerous. I like living in peace. I urge everyone not to use a gun. You live in a world without war.

Indeed, but only really works when hardly anyone has them. That not being the case where I live, it might be a good idea to have some self-defense ability.

Escalation.  Sad

at this time only a few countries that allow bitcoin but we know the price is very high
just imagine if bitcoin has become an international currency how is it priced? it would be fantastic

Rather there's very few countries that actively disallow it. For what the laws concern.

There's a sub forum for that. Start by figuring out how much you can afford to invest and maybe consider the other coins as well.

Depends on how good the evidence against them and what the crime is. The punishment might not be enough to completely stopping crime, but if it saves just one future victim, it's worth the deterrent effect.

Money for society is an useful tool, but it also has negative effects. It just appears to me that we are in a situation where hardly anyone works efficiently, since the priority is to make money and not to produce something useful.

Out of the two, I prefer ETH, and think it should have much higher potential. But, the market, on the other hand, is clearly still favoring BTC over others.

Ten years is a very long time for this one, and impossible to predict, to begin with none of these has been around that long. This moves very quickly.

Either way, shouldn't be long before people lose coins faster than they can be mined.

There is no such thing a a free society, a society with no rules.Even if you abolish all the laws by default there would be a supreme one, the law of the jungle where the one with power will beat the ass of the weaker one. Enjoy the 11k bc scenario.

The meanest one around becomes king and the cycle repeats. Paradise for those that want their heart's darkest desires go wild.

Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only?
by
Corporatocracy
on 16/10/2017, 03:30:07 UTC

I think if everyone in the world uses a currency, the deal is easy. People are closer together. The gap between rich countries and poor countries will be reduced. Printing money machines is also easier. Facilitating many aspects: economy, life.

It would remove inefficiencies from the system, but the gap can't be shortened with just that. It could very well get larger.

Certain regions just have it much better in terms of natural resources, population size, and higher education standards, it all affects the population's productivity.

Re: How did Bitcoin save Venezuela?
by
Corporatocracy
on 16/10/2017, 03:10:27 UTC
I once read a news, where most of the Venezuelans need to queue in front of supermarkets as early as 3 a.m, if they want to buy daily groceries in time!

For those that unable to buy them, they will just go to the dumpsters and look for rotten vegetables & foods...

Good point.

Supply of goods, which is tied to production and trade, is what determines the availability of them in the market at all.

Some, few, well positioned people, who can import the mining gear, could be taking advantage of the situation, but they would be the minority.
