Re: [ANN][CASH] Crypto CASH a unique Crypto currency! **1.1 Client is mandatory**

it woulndt hurt the coin to make it quibit, groestl or X11 algo it will be even more power efficient (they use 30-50% less power) and will definetly bring more miners because there is only few coins to mine with these new algos and people want it temps will go high outside soon and people will switch to these algos to keep hw cooler i hope...

I will look into the x11 algo

Don't bother really, it would kill the price and no one would mine. Very very few like X11, the pay is horrible, it needs different settings, even if the cost is half, no one wants to get half the income regardless. DRK is the only coin that is not ruined by X11, and only due to Dev team happily keeping price steady with a dozen BTC and dumping when it pumps. Hiro coin is less than half price and just falling too.

Kimoto is bloody terrible too, with the time lapse exploit, just look at POT coin. It could work, provided someone is willing to stump up a couple of BTC to push price to 10k. This time, it will not be me.

DigiShield could work, but I have no clue if anyone is even willing to buy CASH coin now. It will need a lot of work, and all the work I put in has just made me look like a mug promoting a junk coin when even Dev couldn't be arsed to make an appearance, even just once in a blue moon to show existence.

Pulled connections all over and had a great design team lined up and an IT company too willing to work for free and even accept CASH as payment. Needless to say, they are not stupid enough to waste time when no one else would.

I totally feel your frustration Varvarin; personally I am amazed you are still behind this coin! I nearly abandoned it too this last week. I shall wait and see what happens now that the Dev is back.

Cryptocashnow: you should be aware that your reputation and trust in you (and hence the coin) is very weak due to you having disappeared for so long. I just want you to be aware that you and whatever team you put together is going to have to work extremely hard to repair the damage done. Those of us who tried to support the coin are now very wary about joining your team, even though we would like to - can we trust that you are here for the long term?

Sorry folks, been away for a while, and going away again in a few days, but just voted on the poll.

Been mining CASH and buying every few days because I still believe in the long term viability of this coin.

I would like to help but don't have the free time; I'm already over committed with 3 jobs. Sad

However, given that in the UK the HMRC (tax authority) have decided to treat crypto currencies as a currency, and there are a lot of businesses there already supporting bitcoin and that the Bitcoin Foundation is opening their international office in London, 2014 is set to be a great year in the UK for crypto adoption.

I suggest we all lobby this startup to get them to add cashcoin:

I believe that having cashcoin accepted by pock.io would be a great marketing boost for our favourite coin.

Has anyone checked their BTC amount on Poloniex.....mine gone down by 12% to 15%.

It looks like the reduction is happening.

Confirmed, mine just went down 12.3%. My balance I mean, not my pecker.  Tongue

Edit: Other alt-coin balances remain as before.

Well it looks like the market is pretty well flooded now and its crashing the price.

Might be time for people to start thinking about holding some of the coins to let the price rise back up.

Since Varvarin gave me some free Cash I've been buying every day on the way down from 10,000 Satoshi to 5000. I am also mining the coin.

But I do wonder about the dev - he's not posted anything interesting on here for a while and there appears to be very little marketing effort for this coin. We all know by now that it doesn't matter how technically good something is, if nobody knows it exists, or why, or what it's good for, then it doesn't take off. I have read all 100+ pages of this thread and it seems only a handful of people (like Varvarin) are seriously trying to get marketing efforts off the ground.

Dogecoin (which I personally detest) has incredible marketing and support. Even NXT coin, which is not that old, is sponsoring music festivals in LA...I understand why/how that happened. Feathercoin community is incredibly dedicated and that coin has great support and marketing. I know it is early days for CashCoin, but does the dev even have a roadmap planned/published? His site (cash-coin.org) says the coin was developed by a small team? Who are they, what are they doing, or is it just one guy?

Having said that, I won't be selling. Quite happy to hold what I have and see what develops, or not (and just declare the loss to the taxman! lol).

I think the OP was not clear on this bit I put in red:

But how can I haz my money back?

Okay, for those of you who didn't guess it yet: Whenever you want to make a transaction from your savings-account to someplace else, get your wallet.dat out of the safe, boot up your liveCD (don't you dare using your regular OS after all this work, or I'll come beat you up personally) and do the reverse: Install bitcoin again

A. How is that the reverse of what you did before? It isn't ... or am I missing the obvious here?
B. Why install bitcoin again? The instructions above did not say to uninstal it, so why do you install it a second time?

Maybe I'm dumber than I thought, or missing something because I'm a noob....or that red bit really is not clear. Obviously I think it's the last, hence my post!  Tongue
