Re: Using the Blockchain to Document Intellectual Property Rights

Very unique way of copyrighting intellectual property. From my experience and what I learned about copyrights, is that a copyright claim doesn't need to be filed with any particular government entity, and so long as you can prove that "YOU" published the work in question, by default you are the owner of the copyright. So, for example; if I publish a time stamped news article and then someone copies it, and I take them to court for copyright infringement, so long as I can show that I published the content first, then I am the true holder of the copyright. Integrating copyright material into the blockchain is a very good way of doing this, since the blockchain can not be altered nor the time stamp can be changed. Great stuff.

Bitcoin Private key to NFC via URI??? Please Help.

Hey folks,

I am new to this forum and a newbie to NFC/RFID. I was recently experimenting with NFC Tag Writer, and to my surprise, had some interesting results. By choosing the "link" dataset, followed by "URI" and inputting bitcoin:(any bitcoin wallet address, without the brackets) I was able to program an nfc tag to open up any bitcoin wallet (so long as the app name starts with "bitcoin") and further automatically goes to "send" to (input address). This is all fine and dandy and is useful for a receive NFC device. However, I am wondering if anyone knows of how to program an NFC tag properly to where it would do something to a "paper wallet sweep" upon contact with an NFC enabled mobile phone/device? All advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Best regards,
CountCristo
