For anyone having problems getting the wallet going after Christmas

ok, move the wallet to a folder, like your desktop or my documents, wherever you want to keep it.
right click on it, and click 'create shortcut here'
right click on the shortcut and go to properties
on the properties window that pops up, it should have a textbox called 'Target'
ok, click in there and go all the way to the end after where it says Qt-w64-2.1.0.4.exe
hit space just after the exe, and type -startfrom=315000 and then click ok.
now open the shortcut let it sync for a minute then close the shortcut and delete it
just open the 2.1.0.4 and you should be good

but for me the main problem i forsee is there is nothing legally holding you back from taking the ICO "donations" buying mining equipment investing in other crypto and just forming a registered company and putting all those assets under it legally and just not supporting APX. So if you could present some legally binding resolution to ensure that token ICO funds would be protected in some way from being misused. Other than that it is just reputation that is at stake here. And we all know how that works in crypto.

I like the discussion dcmartin is starting here. The main feature for businesses to use paywithpink imo is the option to turn some none or all of the transaction fee in to a donation. The ideas are all here, continual staking rigs set up for the charities so people can donate for life to save lives. Also I believe the incentive lies with the consumer themselves to encourage their online retailer to accept pink. That is the #1 incentive for a merchant to accept paywithpink because a would be customer asked for it. But the main hurdle is how to get the message to people who don't know about crypto. Also there are a couple huge companies that have branded themselves PINK. The main thing imo that seperates pinkcoin from other altcoins out there is the positive brand awareness to charity. So i think the key would be to give consumers and retailers a platform that allows for secure fast transactions with minimal fees. The savings that would have gone to Credit card companies can go towards savings for the consumer possible donations through PWP or a rewards system for using PWP. If it became successful it could operate like any other rewards system like airmiles or groupons. Nice to see some discussion in here again.

Just made my first Pinkcoin purchase with Pay with Pink. It looks something like this.

As it was explained to me Verge will not be a public autochange bot and will only support PINK.

This was very easy for me to support as Verge will increase its pool of BTC and PINK with each successful settlement.

As wallet.pink is nearing completion transactions in Pinkcoin will be done manually.

This has the possibility to be a revolving financial infrastructure/ecosystem.

You buy Pinkcoin from Verge it transfers BTC to OKcoin and trades on the autochange script.

Successful settlements allow Verge to replenish its Pinkcoin pool, add buy support on exchanges and top up the trading balance on OKcoin.

This should in theory increase the value of PINK while allowing purchasers of Pinkcoin from verge none of the risk of trading BTC.

This is in the early stages so Tranzium and Fayoled are still ironing out details for Verge's profit allocation.

Just thought I would share here as I know some PINK supporters use this forum and not Slack.

Hey Cryptzo was wondering if there is any advantage to sending all my coins to myself in regular intervals curious to see your thoughts of how to play staking long term now that growth has ended and we learned so much about staking.

Well Anoxxy just joined the millionaires hangout where most of the brainstorming goes on for pink now. He seems to be a very talented programmer and its refreshing to see his attitude of what can I do to help. It would be nice to see some other community members adopt the same philosophy. I agree with Pinker in getting Pinkcoin to go mobile has been long overdue. Got crypto great idea for remittance of Pinkcoin to the NBCF will contact them to see if we can get some PR going there. hey cryptzo have coins currently at stake, locked my wallet so no more will stake. Do i have to wait until coins are no longer staking to download wallet

Thanks Wiser for asking a lot of the questions I had, did your send to your own wallet work. I am an admitted noob but for the growth period would it be best to send all your coins to yourself in one transaction 24hr before last POW block. I understand no one knows exactly when that will be. What I'm wondering is if you are recommending having 4 6hr apart transactions just to ensure you can stake at least three times on the last day. By that logic would it not be better to split them up as much as you can. I don't understand weight so my next question is which is more important weight or amount of coins do those have an effect on your staking ability. would there be a disadvantage to having 12 incoming transactions 2 hrs apart. also if you are sending coins from in your wallet to youself which coins does the wallet choose to send most or least mature. Just trying to get my strategy right for this growth period.
