Why Is Mass Bitcoin Adoption Still Not Happening?
by
Cray4Cryptz
on 18/04/2015, 04:39:14 UTC
It has been 8 years since Bitcoin was introduced to the public by an individual who called himself as Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin is described as a peer-to-peer decentralized digital currency that can be transferred to someone without any involvement of banks and other financial entities.

Bitcoin became a very interesting option for giving mobile banking services to the people who doesn't have any banking information in underdeveloped countries in the world.

Re: Your opinions on Online Gambling and Bitcoin
by
Cray4Cryptz
on 18/04/2015, 04:27:43 UTC
i think that online gambling should be regulated in some way, now with bitcoin, people feel even more secure to gambling(it sound like an oxymoron) but really it is the true, maybe put a limit on the bet or something?

because many of them can't stop playing until they lose all(and i know how they feel, fortunately i have good selfcontrol), and with bitcoin i find that it is even worse then regular fiat, because they can play with more anonimity

Yes, gambling sites should be regulated but I do not agree taxing it. Regulation is enough, if theyll tax bitcoin gambling sites then a lot of gambling sites will probably shut down.

About losing in a gambling site, its out of the operators concern. One should know their limits if they want to gamble.

Chile Gets its First Full Fledged Bitcoin Exchange in SurBTC
by
Cray4Cryptz
on 18/04/2015, 04:23:30 UTC
There are hardly times when we use the word Chile and Bitcoin in a single sentence, probably because the country seems to always have lacked initiatives towards the digital currency sector.

The wind however is changing direction with the launch of SurBTC, a Bitcoin exchange which lately began its operations on Chilean soil, eventually becoming the first full fledged organization in the country to be involved with the digital currency sector.

The usage of Bitcoin ATMs and vending machines could increase among marijuana dispensaries, predicts Green Rush Review.

In its recent promotional press release, the medical marijuana news website blamed the absence of proper banking infrastructure as one of the major reasons why cannabis businesses would move towards other bankable options such as Bitcoin.

Re: Who's To Blame In Bitcoin Foundation's Unrest
by
Cray4Cryptz
on 12/04/2015, 02:47:32 UTC
We heard Janssens outburst, we read the foundations retaliation. Who's to blame with Bitcoin Foundation's present situation?

a. Olivier Janssens

b. The incumbent Board Members

c. the members

d. Bitcoin

First, majority of the blame should be slapped to the  incumbent board members.
Second, Janssens should also be blamed.

Problems of the foundation shouldnt be publicized. Deal with it inside the foundation.

Re: Maybe a Japanese looted Mt. Gox
by
Cray4Cryptz
on 12/03/2015, 16:24:34 UTC
I was looking at the leaked list of accounts which the supposed Mt. Gox "hacker" posted.

One thing you notice is that SOME of the names are "censored", but the names of Americans, Europeans and Russians do not seem to be censored. Just guessing here, but maybe the "censored" names are all the Japanese names. Why would the hacker remove all the Japanese names, but leave in the foreigner names, unless of course the hacker was Japanese.

Hmmmm....

According to this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=962803.0

That willy bot, has no activity when Japanese people are sleeping and then went back to work on Japanese working hours and then goes flat on activity again during the Japanese sleeping hours. Maybe you have a point.

Would you agree or not?

Bitcoin Only Needs Two Years

Hmmmm... I respect the guy yeah.. But I do not know where his information came from.
2 years might be a little bold.. Maybe give it 3-5 years. I am still having doubt about that.

What do you think?

I believe the guy.

If you are aware of whats happening to bitcoin right now. You will know that this guy knows where Bitcoin will be in 2 years time.

The unusual behavior of 'Willy' - A Mt. Gox trading bot.

Do you think Mark Karpeles is behind this?

Do you think that because of the fact that Ulbricht is going to be sentenced soon, are they going for Karpeles too?

That is not a development and there wont be anymore development.

Karpeles is enjoying his millions in an island far far away.

Re: Should Everything Be Decentralized?
by

Something should be centralized.
Not everyone is educated.

Look at those scammers and thieves who are on always on a prowl for unsecured sites, they do it because there is no central entity that will fuck him up if he did those things.

So, we sometimes need it.

Third USMS Auction Winners, Still Not Revealed
by
Cray4Cryptz
on 12/03/2015, 15:46:35 UTC
I mean, I read it yesterday that one of the winners (3rd) was itBit from New York
http://bitforum.info/t/and-the-third-winner-for-the-usms-auction-is-itbit/400

But two of the big winners still did not reveal themselves
http://bitforum.info/t/third-usms-auction-winners-still-not-revealed/397

I mean, I was following this news since USMS announced that there will be a 3rd auction.

I know that Draper will be there, Silbert's SecondMarket will be there, Pantera Capital will be there.

But as of this moment there is still no official news about the two big winners.

I mean, do they get something when they do not reveal themeselves to the public? For me, if they are a business entity, revealing that they won the auction can actually help them.

The latest was that the BTC were already transferred to each of the winners.

Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin
by
Cray4Cryptz
on 12/03/2015, 15:37:00 UTC
When BTC started, nobody had any and it was worthless, so it was right to give away thousands of BTC to make it popular. All that has changed. Now that BTC's worth something, now that companies are building on BTC, now that serious business transactions are made with bitcoin, it's about time for faucets to adapt.

BTC is real. It's money, and you've got to work to earn some. I hope all faucets will disappear in 2015. Faucets are hurting bitcoin by making some people believing you can get it while doing nothing sitting in your home. No, BTC isn't like that, and it shouldn't be any easier to get than any fiat currency. Even for small amounts.

Faucets maybe is the best way to lure in new Bitcoiners.
They should keep it if they do not have any acceptable explanation why theyre scrapping it.

It was bound to happen, many of these individuals are drawn to whatever is hottest. Many of them will move along, the first chance they get, which is fine as well. Its a free market, or at least its supposed to be  Grin

and because they see a big potential in Bitcoin then they are jumping overboard.
maybe bigger money for them, more experience for Bitcoin.

Yes.. They're accepting BTC.

Do you ever think how big the porn industry is and how bigger it will become if Bitcoin is integrated in well known porn sites?
Compared to buying porn through credit card and debit card, you can hide your identity with btc transactions.
What do you think?

Old news but worthy to take a look!

Re: Do girls use Bitcoin on webcam sites ?
by
Cray4Cryptz
on 12/03/2015, 14:41:42 UTC
Whether they should or not is an obvious one to me: Yes. Some sites already offer paying with Bitcoin (eg. www.flirt4free.com). I wish there were more awareness among camgirls about it. MyFreeCams should really up their game and start accepting it.

Why is it the site says 4free but ask bitcoin for payment?
