Yes Croatia is somewhat of a conservative country but there is a lot of young and educated people that will see the benefit and be interested in the solutions this project brings thus our aim is to inform and educate the people about the cryptocurrency and its great merits trough various steps explained in more detail in the white paper.

CroByte uses the x11 algorithm as well as DGW difficulty re-targeting system to allow for fair and distributed mining efforts.
The wallet will be released and available for download March 24th on launch day supporting multiple platforms such as Windows/Mac/Linux/Android.

The aim is not to replace or compete with Bitcoin but to provide a familiar alternative to the Croatians in order to create awareness of the blockchain solutions.
it is supposed to be an alternative to the Croatian people and with the local airdrops to incentivize use and create proper adoption. This can benefit international members to exchange funds as the backing would be localized and loyal usage eventually creating a very stable environment.

The coin will work on the Proof of Work principle thus the rest of the coins will be slowly brought into circulation by miners.

We will have a small airdrop included in the bounty campaign.


The airdrop we are referring to on the roadmap is the General Distribution Airdrop which is meant to distribute the coins widely across the country in bursts in order to maximize exposure and create awareness as well as educate the population on the solution this it is vital that is happens after launch once the coin can be used and traded.

The coin is available for everyone and is not limited to Croatians only. The goal of the coin is to incentivize usage and create a strong backing with a solid foundation in order to make a stable and applicable cryptocurrency.

CroByte is supposed to be an alternative for people to obtain and trade funds. CroByte is no different than an average crypto just tailored to the Croatian market. We are in no way encouraging any illicit activity but instead aim to create a free trading environment for the people.
