Cryptopia is delisting XLR in exactly 2 week’s... what’s the scoop?

I got that email today too.... please note that email is from way back in October of 2017.  Cryptopia seems to have been so backed up that they finally got those emails out 7-8 months too late. lol  No wonder they have fallen down the list for daily volume quite drastically in 2017.

😂 Wow I didn’t even notice the date. You know what they say, better late than never!!!

“Forging is not the only way to earn #MHC.
#MetaApps will be paying for computer resources, such as CPU time, data storage space and data transmission in MHC. So you can donate your home PC or server idle resources...”

So when the FBI raids my home bc of what’s stored on my PC, I just tell them it’s not mine it belongs to #MetaApps and then they laugh, apologize and leave and send a Home Depot contractor to install a new front door? Sounds legit 👌🏻

I use a BTC address to mine neoscrypt and everything has been working fine for several weeks. Today, I tried to setup a different rig to mine lyra2rev2 and I want to use a different BTC address so I can keep track of earnings.

Please somebody tell me why I have tried over 10+ BTC addresses and a few minutes after mining they all report as BCH !!?!?!? And yes I have the c=BTC set in the password field.

How the hell can I get zpool to recognize a valid BTC address? FWIW, these are all segwit addresses generated from my Trezor. Please help!!
I have exactly the same problem. It is all shown as BCH despite the correct -p c=BTC ending in by bat file. Here is my BTC address in case someone can fix this: 1MvPAKp3HgotDnZhQYv99gWoTCVxBdFmpz

fixed and fixed.

Thank you, I appreciate the quick response.

The other day I signed up and deposited some alt coins, sold them, and withdrew 0.2 BTC. Everything was slow, but it worked just fine. The following day I deposited a bigger batch of alts, sold them, and requested a withdrawal of 0.36 BTC. After a couple of hours I logged in to check on my withdrawal and they had cancelled the withdrawal and have disabled my access to my wallets. I can see the BTC sitting in my account but anytime I try to open my wallets it says "You are disabled".

I have an open support ticket that hasn't been answered yet and they completely ignore you on their twitter. I recommend that you stay far away from this exchange.

what's with the network?

Masternode payments just activated, cold streak happening as the pools catch up.
Can you explain what this means? All pools have been stuck on the same block for more than 90 minutes. Something is wrong -- miners are just wasting their hash power.

The pools need to reboot their stratum to get the correct block template. They are working on a template from right before activation. We've finally just got ahold of 2 pool operators and they've rebooted. Be patient, this is common when masternodes activate.

Thanks for the update. Can you tell us which pools you contacted? I just tried 4 different pools and everything still looks stuck. I want to point my miners to a pool that is working.

Masterhash and a private russian pool. BSOD engineers are sleeping, but the admins there have contacted them.

2 minute block times --- we are now 2+ hours without a block. Are you sure this is "normal"?

Cool Cool Cool

BSOD. Fast. Safe. Security. 0.5% Fees. Payouts every 2 hours after the first confirmed block.

Use your wallet address as your username, and c=ORE as your password.
We're using Yiimp, no registration required.

.bat example for cc miner

Code:
-a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bsod.pw:1982 -u YOURWALLETADDRESS.rigname  -p c=ORE

.rigname is optional
Don't forget to use ORE as password, or your shares will be lost !!!

Miner loses connection with this pool every hour, then reconnects in 10-15 seconds. Both rigs are doing this consistently. This doesnt happen on other pools.

anybody else not earning their normal amount of BTC the last 24h? I mined the last hours and would normally get about 0.0005 BTC with 2 1060 6GB I now only made 0.00002 in the last 24 hours.

I mined neoscrypt and nist5 the last 24 hours.

Another thing I noticed is that the hashrate on Zpool is way lower (minimum 20%) than what is shown by my miner. I checked about 10 times in an hour and non came even close to the hashrate the miner showed. Can anybody explain the cause of this delta?

Read through the last few pages -- Numerous complaints about hashrates being reported extremely low. You are lucky that yours is only showing 20% lower. I mined for 2 days and my hashrates were 60% below the actual rates! I switched pools and now I'm being paid properly. Anybody who is still mining on Zpool right now has some huge balls because this pool is all screwed up. I'll give it another shot AFTER everything gets fixed and everybody's proper hashrates get reported.

Swapped to ZPool after the NH incident.  I'm really liking it!  Looking forward to more stability on the website, but can't complain, it's a great pool.

Anyone have any experience with BTC transfer fee costs?  Just wondering how big of a chunk comes out of the 0.005 payout.  If it's a lot, can the payout be changed to a larger number?

Cheers,
-Sityl

5% for the exchange and a 1-2.5% for mining depending on the algorithm .. if i remember correctly. It was posted somewhere at some point, web interface kinda buggy atm.

5% is a huge fee! Where did you see that? Here is the text copied from the main page of the site (nothing at all about an additional 5% fee)

No registration is required, payouts are made to the BTC address you mine with as your username.
Payouts are made automatically every 2 hours for all balances above 0.01 and balances more than 0.0025 are paid on Sunday evening. DCR requires min of 0.025 before payout will occur.
Exclusive FlexFee™ system reduces fee's based on the pool's hashrate on select algos. Look for the green line on the hashrate graphs.
There is an initial delay before the first payout as coins you mine need to mature then, exchange and get returned to zpool, please wait at least 24 hours before asking for support.
This is NOT a solo mining pool. All mining is pegged to exchange prices.
Non-BTC payouts depend on that coin being mined as your BTC balance is traded internally by our system to your currency of choice. If we have not or are not mining that currency your payouts will be delayed until the pool has mined the blocks for you to get paid. If you notice in the pools status that the currency is red, it means there is not sufficient amount of the currency to pay miner(s). It's recommended to use BTC as any other coin could be removed at anytime and payouts will not occur.
Addresses that are older than 6 months without any mining are considered inactive. Inactive accounts are purged after 6 months and any remaining balances are forfeited.
If a coin is NOT listed on the pool (except BTC) and you still choose to mine with that address, you risk not getting any payments.
BTC is the only guaranteed payout currency

Agreed.  Even though it's a business, it doesn't mean he should be treated like shit.  He's very transparent about everything going on and responsive when he isn't doing things people need to do to keep alive and sane (sleep, eat, rest, etc)

Maybe I came to this thread to late and missed all those posts but I've only seen 1 guy being an asshole. Others, like me, were simply reporting issues that we're having.

Crackfoo,

You have gone above and beyond, I can not say much more.

You have managed to get the site back up and running with a new server in under 24 hours, fantastic job from someone that runs this service on his own.

I just hope that the other miners think the same way, and that all the complaints stop and so on.

You realize he's not doing this for free right? He's making a ton of money - this is a business. There isn't anything wrong with reporting legitimate complaints.

Wow.. Look at all the mouthly little yips with under 50 posts demanding answers.  I can clearly see why you were using nicehash.  You have no social interaction skills or common sense.  Offer suggestions and realize that someone could be in a different timezone on the other side of the world.  Sleep comes to us all, unforseen issues come to us all.  If you don't like things leave.  If you want to give things a chance, stay and shut up and observe.  I've been with this pool for years and as hashrate grew suddenly we had some hickups.  This hasn't changed but over time he has expanded to make things smoother.  Who sees 4700 BTC disappear suddenly?  As for comments mining in the dark?  What do you think nicehash was doing?  Your hashrate is calculated by the shares you send not your overall hashrate on your side.  Completely different system vs nicehash which is PPLS against PPLNS which is zpool.  If you don't know what those are I suggest either reading up on it or sit down and enjoy the ride.

You assume an awful lot... I've never used NiceHash, not even once. I switched a couple of my rigs from equihash to lyra2v2. I've tried a couple of different pools in the past 2 days. I like that this pool converts to BTC automatically. However, I would love to know why THIS POOL reports my hashrate at roughly 40% of what my miner reports while a couple other pools report it almost dead-on with what my miner reports. If it's just a reporting problem on the pool side and I'm being paid fairly, then I couldn't care less what gets reported and will keep mining here. But if there is some type of problem and I'm only getting credited for 40% of my hashes then of course I will mine elsewhere.

And since you have more than 50 posts, I'm sure that makes you a bonafide expert on this topic... so please do us all a favor and provide the answer!

Most of these pools really don't know what your miner's true hash rate is.  It can only guess the hash rate by looking at the number of submitted shares vs your difficulty.  The actual hash rate of your rig doesn't mean squat if its not making valid shares.

100% valid shares according to the Zpool. Suprnova reports hashrate accurately - the reported rate bounces above and below what my miner reports. Zpool consistently shows the hashrate bouncing above and below 40%. All I really care about is whether I'm being compensated fairly.

Something wrong with the Neoscrypt stratum or the way the site is reporting hashrate.

I have 2 rigs - one is at 2.57 MH/s and the other is at 4.55 MH/s.  On the pool site, it says I'm at 886 kh/s (sometimes hitting 1.1 MH/s), and the other is 916 kh/s (sometimes hitting 1.4 MH/s)

Does the Neoscrypt stratum need to be restarted?

Join the club! Lyra2v2, X11, and Neoscrypt users all with the same problem -- hashrates being reported VERY low.

Change the difficulty setting from auto to manual in the password field. Play with this setting to get between 5 - 15 shares per minute.

example here > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1751272.msg25688111#msg25688111

-p c=BTC,d=0.1  or -p c=BTC,d=36

-i  << this sets the Intensity for the GPU(s) (see link above)

-t << this sets the number of threads for the CPU  eg -t 4 will use 4 cores (threads) of an 8 core CPU, this stops the PC from being slow when doing things on it, eg, mouse delays etc.
(Mining with your CPU)

I've already tried changing to static diff -- still reporting less than half of the hashrate. I tried another pool, issues don't exist. Hopefully it's temporary.
