Re: 6 reasons why future ICOs will use Byteball instead of Ethereum (+screenshots)

Indicators are pretty good, but it seems to me that this ease ICO creation can contribute to the fact that on this platform, many shit and scam projects will be deployed. Maybe I'm wrong not knowing this project deeply, but these were my first superficial thoughts on this.

Re: Can we still trust ICO Rating Sites Like ICOBench

No, this is complete nonsense and always was. Now any rating system is focused on quantity, instead of quality and it only supports the filling of this market with rubbish and scam Sad

As a few coins from the top 100 have already shown their turn, although of course we should look on bitcoin and its turn. But in general, as it seems to me, now a favorable environment for buying altcoins, but only real projects that really develop an actual product or a whole direction.

Re: Do you support direct payment in ETH for bounty? (POLL)

By the way, I know only one project (this is DAOstack), which paid full bounty in ETH for legal reasons. At least that's how they explained it.

Based on what was happened today, payment in ethereum will be good for hunters. One more thing, dev need to pay us in weekly basis and not after the end of the ico period. But I am sure none of the project will apply it.
I certainly support the initiative of paying the bounty of ICO to bounty hunters completely in ethereum, or half in tokens. That would be very cool. And it is not necessary to pay weekly, because this will cause a lot of problems for the ICO team. It is enough to pay monthly, as is done in some ICO generosity campaigns that are paid by bitcoin. Payment in the ethereum for the ICO team has its merits and demerits. However, in general, I think that ICO teams will not agree to this.

For example, this thread is already more than half a year and yes, we know only a few projects that applied this approach during this period. But it seems to me that in general the bounty as a direction is already changing and soon we will not see really good projects with traditional bounty campaigns, only a scam will remain.

As if there was not, the main thing - don't participate in everything in a row. Don't support scam and shitty projects. Be avoidative and this can give you more good result. Although now there are quite a few really good projects that are conducted traditional bounty campaigns. Good luck in solving your problems Wink

I think today it's relevant to consider the possibility of investing in powerful infrastructure projects that develop integrated solutions for mass collaboration and collective governance within the DAOs (companies, organizations, cities, nations). The most famous projects in this area today are DAOstack, Aragon, Bitnation, Colony Cool

I already voted, The project that I am participation also pay with ethereum. 50% rewards can convert to ethereum and 50% will pay by token. Check my signature.

Thank you for sharing this. I checked this project and personally it seemed to me a typical ICO project for raising funds, instead of the real project which conduct ICO. Maybe I'm wrong, but at least outwardly it looks exactly like that.

I'm sure that with the introduction and distribution of solutions like Dether and PundiX this will happen much sooner. And as a whole already now a lot of business around the world accepts cryptocurrency as payment and also increasingly offers its employees the opportunity to receive salaries in the crypto too.

An important thing that all bounty participants should consider, regardless of what form of payment it is, there is no need to support shitty projects or projects that carry no real value and usefulness or are a hundredth copy of the original or at all an obvious scam Roll Eyes

I support this, I will already change the bounties with ethereum. I think it's better to get directly to the etherium

Direct payment in eth for participation in the campaign is a good idea. Participants do not have to worry about what to do with tokens, which sometimes become useless or of little value.

In any cases, it will be very good if people don't contribute to the projects of tokens which potentially can become useless. It is worthwhile to carry out a more thorough check of the projects before help them, otherwise very soon the market will finally turn into a dump.

It would be great to participate in such projects where the payment is at least 50/50. Perhaps now there is such projects, share please if will find! ETH is a more stable currency than new coins, but the project that we advertise is probably good and you want to get its tokens!

Now, there are practically no worthy bounty campaigns, especially with payout in ETH. Decent projects are increasingly abandoning the typical bounty campaigns, as they often have a bad effect on reputation. The last project that made 100% payment in ETH - it was DAOstack.

I think that it makes sense to invest exclusively in strong projects with a strong work product that has already taken the leading place in its sector or is likely to do so. There are not a lot of such projects, but almost all of them are pretty much sunk, although it is likely that this is not yet a bottom. As well as probably that we are expecting a long calm Roll Eyes

Re: People say altcoins won't survive
by

Moreover, many do not intend to survive, and for them the prevailing situation on the market is beneficial. This allows them to completely abandon the fulfillment of obligations and leave investors with bare tokens. This again shows that it's not worth investing in crappy projects, which is not difficult to identify among real ones.

I guess that we still have a dump and then a rather long calm. Although I have long ceased to be surprised at anything in this crazy market.
I am sure of one thing that we are in the beginning of the way, but this way will be substantially transformed.

It is often enough to look at the logo and the name of the project.
This is the first level of checking for me and I can assure you that 8-9 projects out of 10 do not pass it.
No matter how trite it sounds, try to find a project that can't be a scam Wink

Re: Advice to all bounty hunters.
by

As a rule, bounty participants often drop tokens of bad projects, in which they also participate as well as in good ones. And this is the main problem contributing to the spread of the scam and the overall clogging of the ecosystem. And unfortunately the bounty participants are the main spreaders of this. If investors don't invest in bad projects, they will probably be less likely to face the situations of dropping coins by participants after distribution. But of course, the bounty participants should not contribute to shit and scam!

Crypto it for a long time. Of course, everything will evolve, improve and what for the world and people doesn't need will die. In the future, I see more than one powerful, globally significant and useful projects / organizations / structures that the global community owns and manages. That is why I particularly support projects that are developing advanced solutions for mass collaboration and direct governance, such as DAOstack, Aragon, Bitnation, Colony Cool
