Ok, so let's be clear: you are making an asset backed token which will have its value linked to the global diamond market. Can you please elaborate on potential benchmarks. Are there any?

Well, the market is pretty well measured. You might have seen in our starting entry that there is an industry indicator called Rapaport Diamond Price Index. It has been calculated since 1976 and serves the sector well. Some details are here: https://www.diamonds.net/Prices/RAPIDiamondIndex.aspx

Yes, I know RAPI for some time. Actually, it is a good move to give the market some alternative. Hopehully, D1 token will get liquid enough to serve as a new benchy, ha?

Are you launching on Waves? Have you created the token already? If so, what's the code for it?

The token is created on the waves platform already. Currently not able to whitelist tokens until it is announced by waves, which isn't a huge ordeal at the moment. Ticker the coin will be "BIO", currently listed on waves platform as "BioCrypt".

Hope this answered your question.

Thanks a lot. Will be waiting for it to arrive in the quotation lists.

Who is your audience - experienced specialists or common people?

Our audience are ordinary people, millions of consumers around the world. Today, only 1% of solvent people in the world can purchase ICO-tokens for 5 minutes. When using our platform this number will increase to 50-70%.

And the majority of them has no clue that buying and using cryptocurrency is really easy. And wallets and payments are inexpensive and user friendly.

hallo ,, I think this coinplace project will indeed help the development of the global economy. but we must remember that not all countries accept digital currency or tokens in because of a country so vast that the difficulty of providing information, maybe this can be applied only in big cities only. information from this project should also be detailed and accurate

Valid point, in my opinion. Is there any source that keeps tracking of the current state of regulations in cryptocurrencies? I once saw a nice map prepared by Blackmoon Crypto but I was several month ago, and situation in this area is changing very fast.

https://news.blackmooncrypto.com/cryptocurrency-regulation-cross-country-analysis-67452f1df80e

I would be happy to see a simple web site where lawyers could track status of that. Maybe there is one already?

Sounds interesting ...Very interesting suggestions on pre-ico. Do you think the project will raise?

They postponed till early 2018, which is a smart move... too much dust these days, let the overcrowded mess settle down, and only solid projects will survive and collect enough.

I agree. So much uncertainty happening right now, 2018 will be a prosperous year for Crypto.

Was at some major crypto conf yesterday, everybody is talking falling success rate. Over 40% ICOs in September failed to collect even soft caps, and in October they were over 60%. It looks like now the market is wiped from weak players, while "grand whales" of issuers are slowly gaining pace.

Obviously, it has some correlation with ETH dynamics. After Ethereum jumped 10 times, those who had large chunks acquired basically for free, started unloading with little or no control simply seeding capital and planting growth everywhere possible. And now this seem no longer the case, new investors either bought their ETH expensively, or mined it (again, with higher capex and opex).

So, no more free money. That is why projects are under much deeper analysis now. And don't forget about competition -- supply of tokens is simply enormous these days, with little or no MVPs behind. So, everyone is watching carefully for gems to be found in tons of mud.

Do you think that ICO deals will grow in size?

I see the market structuring... There are two niches forming, one around $3-5 mn for smaller projects where such amounts satisfy their need for papex and launching the product, and the other is mega-ICOs with $50mn+ mark-up, usually when huge capital required e.g. for remittances and other stuff like this, or fiat linked banking.

In the second niche, there would be new players from classical system, obviously. And everything in between is vague... vague.

Было бы интересно еще узнать про фактическое соотношение доходов и расходов. Сама модель предполагает прибыль или это традиционный стартап, который нацелен на рост оборотов с прицелом кому-то продаться из крупных игроков?

Guys, by the way, what's your take on the crypto trading restrictions in different countries? Are you subject to these bans?
We are following all country specific legislation. Coinplace doesnot get involved in trading and provides no platform or place for such. From the business point of view, we are a marketplace that serves interest of all counterparties and uses its abilities to improve conditions for peer-to-peer deals. We are closely monitoring all regulations and restrictions and never brake any laws. Swaps that are made are direct exchange operations between our clients, and unless directly prohibited, they don't violate general principles of free trade and exchange. Obviously, there are certain risks in the area and we, for example, recommend everyone to act in full accordance with local tax regime and remain within the taxation framework. All deal are held at the customer's discression. The system may guarantee you from the other party's unfair behaviour, thus in case all conditions are met, the deal will proceed.

Yeah... I believe that some government have gone pretty harsh over this crypto theme. You have to watch out for possible claims. And in many areas this is definetely not for legal entities, only for individuals Sad

Well, this is rather convenient. Do you want do buy or to sell crypt? Actually, there's no difference — the system is the same, anyway. Whoever wants to buy or sell the asset, places a bet (bid or offer) into the system. I saw Coinplace announcing hidden dashboards for bigger pool deals but here we're talking about the open part.

So, when there is a match between the two sides, i.e. buyer and seller, the deal is done. Technically, the one who has crypt on his/her hands, places it in a custody (escrow). And the other side transfers fiat. When fiat is received, the "crypt" side unlocks the escrow.
And what are the guarantees that I will receive crypto after transferring fiat?

It is locked in a decentralized custody. I.e., it's a smart contract that is delivering to you upon confirmation of the fiat payment. It is interesting to see what happens if the other side is commiting a fraud and tries to escape without paying. First, they won't be able to get the crypt back, second, there's an arbitrary board that may decide to unlock the pledge in case you provide sufficient proof that the payment took place (like receipt or like that).

Great! But let me ask a question here to skip searching on the site - can you explain how this system works, like, step by step

Nobody ever speaks of Ethereum as a mean of investment and savings, which is weird. The only use everyone sees is in ICOs. This is something to discuss but from day to day prospective ETH actually looks way more widely used, at least as B2B is concerned.
