you should also know that mbtc has no value and they want something that they could hold unto.

This is a wrong idea Aanuoluwatofunmi who said mBTC has no value? In the contest Op hosted, he was actually offering 1mbtc as the first price for the contest of which as of the time I am writing this is equivalent to $70.
No matter how small or large any amount of Bitcoin is, it can still be expressed in mBTC. The only significance is that it is more efficient in smaller units of Bitcoin.  mBTC simply means a Bitcoin into a thousand units . So instead of using decimals to express 0.0008 Bitcoins which can be messy sometimes, you can simply say 0.8mBTC.

Re: [Round 3] Utopia P2P - Official Android Review Campaign (Newbie - Legendary) 💎

When it comes to a PGP app for Android with a nice interface, utopia is actually one of the best I have used. Coupled with the fact that  it has a friendly interface, it also has a nice AI that responds quickly with quite a nice information. The app runs perfectly on my device except the wallet deposit function is a little difficult for me to understand. I recommend you guys make it a little more easy to understand. Anyways it's Still a nice app though.

This is obviously another attempt to fish merit.
These photos are all edited that's why you ensured there was no background. Plus if you look closely you will notice that the images on the books the kids are holding is totally different from the Bitcoin ones you said you customized.

It should be obvious to forum members by now that posts like these are just schemes to fish merit.

on 12/06/2023, 17:14:57 UTC
I pledge to Bitcoin talk,
To be honest and open to corrections,
To state vivid what is true and not,
To avoid copying others  and avoid the use of AI
But rather study and understand the Bitcoin concept,
To by necessary means be  of value to this forum,
To Expose fraud by any necessary means
And above all contribute to the Bitcoin ecosystem
So help me God🥲

Wait a little longer and pls don't invest so when Bitcoin hits 100k I will sell a fraction of my hodling to you 😁

A lot of persons may say yah yah we know or nah vague post but the truth is this post is just my little way of thanking the Satoshi

I recently just took some basic knowledge about crypto currencies and Defi that was when I actually acknowledged the fact

Re: How can we help to Bitcoin education?

Certain persons are not exposed to the "crypto verse" therefore you can encourage Bitcoin by teaching people about it especially young ones of course you can give them a small amount to hodl  to motivate them better to understand crypto currencies

Re: Bitcoin has a bad reputation (we should fix it)
by
Crypt jnr
on 19/04/2023, 21:24:08 UTC
Hello everyone!
I've been thinking a lot about Bitcoin adoption lately and I think that adoption is still pretty slow partly because of the Bitcoin reputation. Despite it being a progressive technology of the future, a lot of people still think that it's a joke.

So there is different opinion among people about Bitcoin. Some people consider Bitcoin as "criminal money" because it's often used on the dark web and helps criminals to get away with selling drugs and stuff.
There are also people who think that Bitcoin is a bubble that will explode and lose its value, so they don't trust it. It's probably because these people don't know how Bitcoin and blockchain work.
And there is a third group of people who think that Bitcoin is used just for gambling so they don't want to buy it.

I think it would be good if we can convince these people that they are wrong. I know that an obvious way to do it would be an education, which will help A LOT. But as for now, do you think there are other ways to change these people's opinions?
Like would it be good if we could create a system that somehow will make the life of criminals who use Bitcoin harder?
To change the ill opinion of people towards Bitcoin I suggest enlightening younger ones like high school kids  this will help enhance their liking towards Bitcoin through teaching them about it and possibly giving them ways to earn with Bitcoins etc
Also we have to condemn fraud to the barest minimum as this will discourage those with little knowledge about Bitcoin due to fear of being defrauded them may not intend in engaging in Bitcoin

What if Satoshi is eventually ID by the government
by
Crypt jnr
on 19/04/2023, 21:02:59 UTC
A friend of mine was of the opinion that the government cannot put an end to Bitcoin because it unfortunately cannot be traced to a particular person or organization which could be sued for bringing about the currency or Blockchain.
If this is true does it mean that the identification of Satoshi as a person or organization will pose a treat to the existence of Bitcoin or otherwise

by
Crypt jnr

If true, the person just want to scam you and nothing more. Although, bitcoin.org is a legit site.
Bitcoin org is actually a legit website about Bitcoins its all about Bitcoin in summary creating your waller and getting to know more about Bitcoin
Avoid trusting such name as scammers tend to use them to de fraud you
