Market is what it is at the moment, there is lots of development still continuing and with Eth going to POS it could lead to more exposure.   I have personally noticed an uptick in the people joining, asking questions and whatnot in the Discord chat.  Feel free to join and read up on what is happening or look into the quarterly and monthly reports on Medium.   One would venture a guess that this is a positive sign.  The Ubiq development team won't go into the price of the coin which is a position held from the beginning.  Again please feel free to join the Discord group for faster replies to your questions, this forum has issues with trolling and misinformation and is rarely visited.

As of this posting, Minerpool's website http://ubiq.minerpool.net/ is experiencing issues.​​28072019 message​Although mining and payment processing do not appear to be affected at present, it would be wise to consider moving your hash to another pool offering UBQ.

Weifa is very active with exchange listings.  I literally see him talking about this every week, there are some outrageous listing fees unfortunately.  However Geo is in a good position with legal documentation confirming it is not a security so this is a great launch pad for listings when they do happen.  The community is always welcome to submit requests as well.  You can trade at Catalx as well as Bittrex atm...

Time for some updates!

Next version of Sparrow to support Ledger and Trezor hardware wallets - Progressing along

The other night I performed a merge of the latest version of code changes from Metamask to Sparrow. Since @xocel is the Javascript master, he has started work on the parts which make it all work: https://github.com/ubiq/sparrow-extension

He recently forked the etherscan-link library and ported it to Ubiq/Ubiqscan: https://github.com/ubiq/ubiqscan-link

We already have a fork of eth-contract-metadata (to be updated with more tokens): https://github.com/ubiq/ubiq-contract-metadata

This is the biggest update that Sparrow has ever had with the new UI which means we are having to redo a bunch of the MetaMask to Sparrow porting as all of our changes are in the old UI. And as mentioned the new UI has the Trezor/Ledger support

We also want to get the Sparrow update out there and ready for greater community testing.

This will allow us to put out some further tests such as the DEX as this relies on Sparrow integration as it is a Dapp.

Ubiq stickers

There has been some discussion of this in #ubiq-marketing

The concept I floated (and seed funded) to @Aaron is a set of free Ubiq stickers (or low low nominal UBQ cost to avoid spam) for people who want them.

I’d like them to be plastered on cities around the world with a Tweet picture to be retweeted. So where you live, where you vacation/travel.

The stickers would generally be ones which would look good on a laptop or in on a lamp post on the street. Something we'd hope you would be proud to put on your laptop, give to family/friends or hand out at crypto gatherings.

We have some great concepts and discussions going. I've ordered 2 designs from 2 designers on Fiverr so we'll see how that goes in the next few days.

Ubiq DCR Stake Pool

An upgraded Ubiq DCR Stake Pool. (now they use the term Decred Voting Service Provider) to the latest commits. https://dcr.ubiqsmart.com/

Upgrading the pool is never a fun process (usually need to upgrade everything else as well) but now all the voting servers are also running the latest DCRD and DCRWALLET.

There's been some fixes. Something you'll notice is the look of the site has changed. Let me know if you experience any issues. Enjoy!
