India has virtually banned cryptocurrencies as the central bank of India as barred providing services to any company like exchanges dealing with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. When a similar incident took place in South Korea and China, how did the traders there managed to trade?

As others have commented on this thread as well as others, India has not banned it with immediate effect. RBI has given a time period of three months to regulated banks to unwind their positions on cryptocurrencies. Also, Indian cryptomarket is not that big as compared to South Korea and China. And one can notice how they bounced back from cryptocurrency ban by their respective governments.

I usually use Koinex, Coindelta and Bitbns. Few of my friends have also suggested me Zebpay, but I haven't used it yet.

This is highly unlikey, if not impossible. And it is impossible for any country to ban a cryptocurrency (decentralized system). The most they can do is put a ban on exchanges or regulate them, which works fine for us I guess. China has been trying to ban it since 2013, and yet it is one of the most prominent trading centre of cryptocurrencies.

I don't know about Indx, but Bitbns is a pretty cool exchange. Got my KYC verification done within a day. The exchange rates are almost equal as all other major exchanges. Not so sure about its wallet though. I bought some Ripples from Bitbns and transferred them to my Koinex account.

The most stable coins as of now are Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple. But one coin that has got my interest and I think might progress in future is KIN. Rest you can do your own research.
