very well explained! i would just say that the .conf file should be named zonecoin.conf... I didnt knew about that other way thank you!

your very welcome. Theres a lot of awesome command line options that people never use (like running multi copies of single wallet etc). I def like using the -conf= though, it makes solo mining easier as you can have 1 mining.conf file that you can just call with every wallet you have when you need it. so no need to have ports open for 30 wallets. anyways ill shut up lol. geek stuff :p

knowledge is never too much Wink

My wallet is not syncing with the network... What do I do?
add .conf file in your zonecoin folder with some nodes which Is available in 1st page of this thread

not sure what the .conf real name is (zonecoin.conf?) either way you can make sure it reads the conf you made by starting your wallet with the -conf=whatever.conf option (so right click on your wallet shortcut (if not shortcut make one) select properties and add the -conf=whatunamedyourconf.conf    and apply and restart wallet)

make sure to put the .conf in your zonecoin folder (in windows open explorer and type %appdata% in the path and hit enter this will take you to your /users/whateveruser/appdata/roaming folder)

NOTE: if you use the -conf= option you can place your conf outside the roaming folder like c:/walletconfigs/  then just add -conf=c:\walletconfigs\zonecoinorwhateveryounamedit.conf to your shortcut and never have to dive into roaming again for your config file.

is maxminers pool on a fork? for some reason like 15min ago it stopped maturing blocks or finding any...

everything back to normal it seems

Spoke too soon... better to buy then...

Also the net hash there shows exacly the same has pool hash, so im thinking its on a fork...?

There still getting blocks. I think the software takes a while to catch up Smiley

The other pool at https://pool.hashnova.com/pools/Zonecoin/ZNE/ seems to have up to date information.

Thank you very much mate, didnt knew there was another pool ( not on op ). Keep up the good work

Is there a way to stop one of my masternodes and be able to transfer the 10k?

Of course. If you are using a controller wallet, then:

Stop your masternode and controller wallet, then put # infront of the masternode ID to rem it out in masternode.conf file, then restart the wallet.
Now your 10K DNET that was locked to that MN will be unlocked.

e.g. #MN01 123.123.123.123:51472 goo5nNiFr2aiTd8tisTc c71602923666de5e8078a 0
(well, you can simply delete the line altogether if you won't ever need the details again)

Thank you very much

It is always best practice to deposit/withdraw just 1 coin as a test to any exchanges to confirm it's working before sending a larger amount. Heck, we don't even have a fully working block explorer yet. So I'm not going to do any large transactions until we can see them on a valid block explorer.

Agree... everything is fine with trex, i got my coins confirmed.

Ok so i had version 2.0, transfered 20k coins to bittrex ( tx id a2ee49a16bcf35cf4b566cc8ae117315cbd8962a5463a6778fc0d258de97ab05-000 ), after notice they didnt arrived sent an email to their support and saw there was issues with the chain so i downloaded the new version and deleted everything but my wallet.dat. After restarting shows 0 coins there too... Can someone help? Thanks

Having similar issues with lost coins coming from trex, somewhere along the lines they had their wallet opened back up for withdrawals, I sent them they confirmed and we're in my wallet. Then we had all of those updates and somewhere amongst that between Bittrex and my wallet the coins are gone, no record anywhere but Bittrex withdrawal history.

after sync the coins showed up on my qt wallet... I will now send them to bittrex and see if we are in the same chain...

Do you people know of this?

The Mist wallet, which acts as a solution for Both Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, contains a bug when dealing with Shapeshift transactions. For ETC users, the Mist wallet seems to be taking a cut for every transaction to and from Shapeshift.  Huh

A Money Grab By Mist Wallet Developers
http://themerkle.com/mist-developers-deliberately-use-shapeshift-affiliate-link-for-etc-transactions/

I can't remember if i got it on this thread.

News out about the recent Mist client mods to support ETC.  Looks like we are getting scammed.  Or at least skimmed.

http://themerkle.com/mist-developers-deliberately-use-shapeshift-affiliate-link-for-etc-transactions/

Two pages back, top of #132...

So can we get our own affiliate link so that we can use this to fund our own development?

https://changelly.com/ is a good alternative to https://shapeshift.io but the devs could strike a deal.

Crypto*Digger RE: https://www.whattomine.com/
you can choose to search "profitability over 24h, 3days, 7days" also are you putting in your power costs?

Im just renting some hash and pointing it to a pool... Thanks i will just wait and see

Anyone mining notice the difference in payouts compared to whattomine.com? Im getting less then half of what it say i should have...

Yes, Randyh replied to this question as I also asked it earlier.  And the answer is that they are trying to use transaction times over a period of time to determine the hash rates and payments based on the changing price...

In other words when the market is volatile the What To Mine numbers get way off... The steadier the price and transaction rates over time the closer WTM is with its estimates... So WTM is really a best guess at this point and you really can't tell what your going to get until you point at some pools and see what the calculation comes back with for reward.

So right now trying to use WTM to figure out what is the most profitable doesn't work very well. I am sure it will get better as we see things settle down over time with ETC.

Right at this moment my pool is reporting I am earning more than WTM states, but over the past week it has been just the opposite... So you just have to check for yourself on the pool to validate.

Oh i see.. Ok thank you very much, ill just see after 24h whats the result
