I actually spoke to that person if I think its the one you are reffing to (I have interviewed 2 BCH folks) and if it is that person I actually spoke with them extensively on the phone and the answer kind of made sense to me at the time anyway. But I'm not one to judge man, I just do the interviews

Jus thought I'd bump and say that I just finished interviewing one of the coolest people around.
He's 70 years old, he's a musician, writer, poet, actor, talk show host, singer, song writer, plays multiple instruments, artist and now he's minting NFTs.
The guys name is Smokey Miles, he also goes by Count Smokula.
Check it out if you are interested. The story also gets a little crazier because the guys that put him onto me and also the same people who are helping him mint his NFTs are the family and kid behind the Balloon Boy Scandal from a few years back! Wild. To make it crazier Smokey knows Lloyd Kaufman from TROMA Entertainment really well and I grew up obsessed with The Toxic Avenger...turned out Lloyd liked our interview and so he re-tweeted which doesn't sound like much but it's just one of those things.

I interview folks from the crypto-space about their projects, things that they are building or working on and in particular I have a focus on the person and their story. I try to build a bit of a founder/origin story because personally that is what I am interested in but also because I think the content space in our funny world is filled to the brim with content about the tech and the money already.

I get anywhere from a few hundred views per article/interview all the way up to tens of thousands, due to many factors.

The interviews are usually re-published on the Hacker Noon tech blog and gain another few hundred to few thousand views.

It'll be interesting to see but my gut tells me they are preparing for some more funny buggers, who knows.

I think first we have to define "long term".
Personally, and I know this may not be that popular on this forum but I don't see Bitcoin proving its value (long term) for some time because we have not see enough attacks, or real life events unfold. For example what if one of these global cyber events happens and it renders many peoples Bitcoin investments for a long period of time. Its just a thought.

Short term Bitcoin has proven itself.

I dunno, guess we have to wait and see.

I think it depends where you are from.

In the US I believe the IRS follows you everywhere.

In Australia if I am correct it is in simple terms based on residency so if I live in Aus but have a wallet setup in say Germany and I use a German exchange, I don't think it matters. But don't listen to me :|

People make projects, people make everything and so I am interested (personally) in the people behind the project because, well, they made it. I want to know how and why they did it, what makes them tick, get a bit of an origin story, some founder insight, that kind of thing.

So far people seem to enjoy it too.

I absolutely would LOVE to speak to people from this forum, OG's included and yes also legit ruggers and scammers (I did interview a "scammer" but it is just a meme token, legit cool guy BTW). If you know anyone, point them my way.

Hey man, for my first interview with ProfessorPonzo (I think he/she now goes by ProfessorKronos) I asked if he/she is a girl because many people in the chats were saying that they we're. It'd be pretty cool if they were but I really don't know.

I find it hard to believe he actually affects the markets. Doge, maybe a little, but Bitcoin and the entire trillion dollar crypto market? C'mon seriously? I think you'll find it is more likely institutional investors, people and firms you have likely rarely heard about. The media like to pump him up and he just accepts it because it is free advertising for his companies. Don't you think if it wasn't working Tesla would gag him? And if he was actually manipulating the markets so that the big boys lost out that they would not stop him? C'mon.

The end goal is to interview Satoshi 

I spoke to a very interesting DeFi dev as part of an interview article series I run on my blog Crypto Fireside that said she/he thought that there would be a 90% reduction in value this year or shortly after...who knows.
