[TOOL]Portfolio Tracker Google Spreadsheet (supports 25 coins atm)
by
Crypto-DesignService
on 11/02/2023, 05:55:59 UTC
Made a simple and easy-to-use portfolio tracker for you to track your coins. It can be used if you're a casual trader, investor, or a day trader. Currently supported 25 coins, but I can always update it anytime and add coins, especially if requested as long as the coins is available on coinmarketcap.com as that's where I'm pulling the current prices.

Consists of:
  • transaction history with graphs to observe the development of your coins on specific date that you choose
  • dashboard with overall stats and graphs of all your transaction history.

Portfolio Tracker

coins added:
Code:
Tether
Bitcoin
Ethereum
Binance
Cardano
USD Coin
XRP
Binance USD
Dogecoin
Polygon
Solana
Polkadot
Litecoin
Avalance
Shiba Inu
Tron
Dai
Uniswap
Cosmos
Chainlink
Monero
Stellar
Ethereum Classic
Bitcoin Cash
VeChain

This is a pure function formula with no google script attached, so you don't need to worry about authorizing any script when making a copy.
Please let me know if you have suggestions or encounter any errors. Thank you

Re: invest in bitcoin or altcoin?
by
Crypto-DesignService
on 29/01/2023, 05:09:25 UTC
Not to directly tell you to invest in Bitcoin but some aspects that Bitcoin is way better than altcoins is because

-widely use of Bitcoin by huge service companies
-can survive a bear market - while many altcoins die(value and the market cap goes to zero) during bear season, Bitcoin has proven and is likely to survive another bear market as seen in the past.
-highly unlikely to go zero

The only advantage of altcoin is its value may go up to 10000% unlike Bitcoin where it's starting to stabilize because more and more people are into it. But that would be equal to gamble because you're more likely to get scammed than picking an altcoin that will have that value since you're picking from 1/10000 quality altcoin.

Re: Suggestion abt verifying and quoting stake address
by
Crypto-DesignService
on 26/01/2023, 04:07:45 UTC
So basically you're saying everyone on the forum needs to have neutral feedback since most of us got our addresses staked. 😁
Got your point, I realized it'll just add extra tasks for a little positive value since there are just a few scenarios that require signing a message using staked address.

Suggestion verifying and quoting stake address
by
Crypto-DesignService
on 26/01/2023, 03:21:50 UTC
Based on trust settings the description of Neutral is Other comments. So I thought maybe it can also be used this way.

For any users that verify staked bitcoin addresses, it would be great if we can also leave neutral feedback right after verifying the address. So if a scenario occurs that needs signing a message there will be another alternative on how to find the updated staked address by going to the user's feedback.

Reference link will be the quoted message that it was verified.
Comment will be the verified staked address

if the user stake a new btc address and a new user verified it, just add 'updated' on the comment.

Re: How is the cost of living in your country?
by
Crypto-DesignService

I've been wondering for a while how it would be to have an economy without debt. Here, everyone including governments has debts. Without debt, I can imagine many prices would be less inflated, simply because people can pay less.
Of course, Venezuela has its own problems and isn't the best example to compare to, but still, I wonder how value would be without debt. Not owing anyone anything sounds like a dream.
quite an advantage but not that big.
Sure there will be more open opportunities to have(i.e. building better infrastructure, more privileges from it's people) but It still depends on how the leader of the country will manage it properly.

<...>

Signed messaged verified https://etherscan.io/verifySig/13636

However upon checking your message with the address you provided to quote it, this is what I only gather, a quote of the supposed address, the orignal message is removed.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2416310.msg33170519#msg33170519, will this be viable proof for ownership?

Re: why would someone think of suicide?
by

There was a quote I read "It’s bad to kill, but it’s not bad to die" -forgot the source

There are different factors for why an individual considers suicide, and we can't easily judge them especially if we don't understand how heavy their suffering is while living.
Suicide should not and never be the first solution to any problem but I'm pretty sure a person considers so many options before resorting to suicide to end their suffering.

...responsibility of the participants as well to check if everything checks out from a project, if not they should be the first whistle blowers for such irregularities...
That's what paid Campaign Managers are for.
Though I agree that participants can voluntarily check the contents if it's plagiarized, you cannot hold them liable when things turned out bad if they miss the red flags.

Re: Moderator help my bitcointalk account have been hacked
by
Crypto-DesignService
on 24/01/2023, 01:49:39 UTC
This happened to me aswell when I tried changing my password via secret question, you're account is safe because there's no way the hacker can use it once locked.
Fastest way to retrieve your account is email the recovery team and provide a signed message, timeframe of unlocking your account is usually 1-3 days after verifying your signed message.
The answer time at the moment is probably one or two days tops, rarely three if we're very busy. He's emailed us and since we've already started, I'd rather have him go through our process Smiley but thanks a lot for your help!

Note: the hacker have access to my email and my secrete question is saved in my draft on the email.
You can message them with a different email as long as you have the signed messaged verified, that won't be a problem. Here's the email they provided to reach them out
Code:
locked(_)2019(_)vuhnu@bitcointalk.org
*remove open and close parenthesis

You may also try reaching out hilariousandco if they did not respond within a day.

DCA is another safe way to hold Bitcoin long-term. It provides lesser risk since the price is very volatile.
