Hi all -

Clearly it has been a difficult period of time the past week or so. As devs we have been working hard and trying to stay clear of the controversy around other coins. It has obviously affected the market price of CIRC. The only silver lining has been that the entry level for using the bot has become more manageable.

We have been getting alot of PMs from people who feel we should be pursuing the 'theft' of our code. Unfortunately, on a practical level it is not so simple. One of our contractors may have been working for the other coin. For many reasons, there is simply no way for us to stop this sort of thing. We are choosing to stay out of that whole fray.

For those having problems with using the bot, try re-running TraderRpc.Install.  This will download the latest update.  Infamous will be in the Slack about 8 hours from now, he'll be glad to help anyone who may still be having problems.

Hi Everyone.

We have been advised of an issue with the current bot. There was an external resource we were using which seems to be no longer available / down, this caused our UI to display in an odd fashion (the bot itself worked, but the UI was broken). In the newest update, we distribute the resource locally, so it should go back to working as before. Please re-run the traderrpc.install and you will be good to go.

Hi Everyone

We are back on the job now, rested after a week with family and friends. Yesterday was devoted towards taking stock of the steps between here and Rhinohunter.

We are still unable to pin down the source of the memory leaks in the Mac build. It has been somewhat frustrating so we have decided to rearrange our work groups to allow fresh eyes on the problem. This will delay our progress somewhat on RhinoHunter but obviously we need to root out this problem before we move onwards.

Barakus is traveling for the next few days. On his itinerary is a meetup with Thursday to work on both branding issues facing CIRC as a well as several proposed changes in how the Culling will work. We'll be posting on the progress in these areas after these meetings take place.

We'll be getting out the next round of whale lounge invites over the next couple days, so if you have just sent your info, sit tight, your invite will arrive soon.

Hi Everyone

We would like to give a short update on a few things we are working on, and give some time perspectives on the next few releases.

A lot of work went into the V1 Johnny 5 platform, and while it has been an exhausting few weeks for the dev team, we are extremely pleased and gratified with the results. The bot is stable across all platforms with just a few incidental bugs. Much of work done during this time was to lay the foundations for V2 Rhinohunter within the V1 codebase, to ensure a smooth progression in that development phase as much as possible. We'll be taking some time off this week to recuperate a bit and spend time with families, partners etc.

The market price of Circ is currently retracing, which has lessened the pressure on us to reset the lounge thresholds. However we are sensitive to the issue of the bot becoming affordable during the times of rapid growth in valuation. We are currently leaving the thresholds unchanged and watching for where the markets settle over the next week or so.

As previously indicated, we will be releasing a stripped down version of Johnny 5 as a standalone download several weeks from now. Revenues from this go towards both burning CIRC and continued development. Both these outcomes benefit the core community of investors.

At the same time,we will be moving forward on the V2 RhinoHunter program. As previously noted, this will include the following features:

·        Full stop-loss/Take profit control over all bot functions via both timed buys and timed sells.

·        Auto Pump program. RhinoHunter will use a specific algorithm to accumulate, push, and sell at optimal times based on a user-configured market analysis.

·        Market analysis and trade suggestions. Automated TA. Choose from a range of indicators to both blue team and red team your own trading ideas.

·        Built-in tutorials triggered by specific user actions and queries.

·        Statistical export functions. If you have a specific configuration that is making you money, you can rent or sell your bot configuration to others.

·        Futures trading bot. Adjustable risk reward settings within the trading algorithm itself.

·        WhaleHunter module. Isolates and analyzes trading patterns and distribution changes of specific coins in specific time frames to identify large trader patterns. Drafting function allows you to
program your bot to match the whale’s movements

We anticipate RhinoHunter will take 3 to 4 weeks to finish. It will be somewhat of a challenge as both the standalone version of Johnny 5  and RhinoHunter will be in the same release cycle. However we see no point in artificially delaying one or the other. We are also in discussion with an additonal dev who may be joining our team; this would of course be a welcome addition.

We encourage everyone to go forth and prosper in the coming weeks with Johnny 5. Build your skills. Build your stacks. The adventure is just beginning.

anyone on the planet bucking central banking is welcome Smiley

is there a way to access the bot from web browser why the qt is running?

If it's more convenient for users to run the bot in the browser, they will still need to have either the Trader's Lounge or the Whale Lounge unlocked and the wallet open. Without the coins, the bot will not execute commands.

Cryptocircuits V1 Bot Release: Johnny 5

Hi Everyone  -

The final version of V1 trading bot  “Johnny 5” will be made available during the next 12 hrs to all Whale Lounge members. A simplified version  - “Little Johnny” -  will be released to all Trader Lounge members. Trader Lounge members will be required to complete a new download and install package since this will be their first time receiving the bot platform.

The above will be the procedure for all Windows users. Mac users will follow a separate procedure: we are currently finalizing the installation instructions and they will be published in a separate post.

The release of the V1 bot marks a milestone for CIRC. In this post we would like to outline how Johnny 5 fits into the larger direction of the CIRC bot program.

V1: Johnny 5

Johnny 5 is centered around a user-friendly GUI that takes the intimidation factor out of using a bot. If this is your first time using a trading bot, be sure to spend some time in the Whale Lounge getting any advice you need and listening to what others are doing with their bots. This will pay off many times over for you.

A number of features that are intended for V2 have been coded in ‘under the hood’ of Johnny 5, and are already present in various stages of development. This allows us to ensure forward moving compatablity with both the various exchanges and the current suite of bot features.

Johnny 5 is both a standalone bot and a trader development tool. As you use the bot, you will become a better trader, and if you are using the bot effectively, your trading can become much more profitable. All of this leads up towards the V2 version of the bot – code name RhinoHunter -  which will give traders a whole new set of trading tools and automated features.

V2: RhinoHunter

As Johnny 5 reaches maturity in its current release cycle, a stripped down version of the Whale bot will be made available to all members of the Trader’s Lounge. Whale Lounge members will then be upgraded to Circ bot V2:  RhinoHunter.  The current feature list for RhinoHunter includes:

Drafting function allows you to program your bot to match the whale’s movements

RhinoHunter is specifically designed to give our traders an advantage in crypto markets, especially in markets with high volume and volatility. However, we have also worked to give each feature a ‘set it and forget it’ UI option – so that when you encounter a strategy that is working for you, you can automate what you are doing, and let it earn money for you automatically.

RhinoHunter will allow you to also sell or rent your best strategies. Whale Lounge users who are visibly making money with RhinoHunter will be able to create their own fee-based membership groups inside of the Whale Lounge.

Final note:

A big thanks and shout out to the community, the devs, and everyone who has worked so hard the past few weeks to enable the Johnny 5 release. We encourage everyone working with Johnny 5 to share their skills and knowledge with newcomers – it’s an important part of who we are here in CIRC, and the community we are building.

Hi Everyone

We continue to be very pleased with how the tests are going on the bot. There will be some further refinements in the next few days, but the platform is strong and stable, so we have decided to do the initial public release on Monday, just after this weekend. All Whale Lounge members will have full access to the bot. Look out markets! : -)

We would encourage all who have been involved in testing the bots so far to be on hand in the Lounge on Monday to help the new users get the bot set up and configured. The devs will be on hand as time permits, but realistically, with so many new users firing up the bot for the first time simultaneously, it makes way more sense for the experienced members of the community to be involved in helping out.

As mentioned before, there are a number of advanced features in the pipeline for the next version of the bot. Several of these are already largely built into the codebase already and visible in the GUI, but will not be activated for the coming release. Other features are present but not visible in the GUI, because building them in now already as part of the platform makes the next version easier to roll out.

We are putting together a whitepaper to be released over the weekend detailing both many of the current working features of the bot as well as an overview of the advanced trader features upcoming in V2. This "BotPaper" will be available late Sunday.

Again, thanks to the community, the testers, and all of our supporters. Let the good times roll.

Nice to hear from the testers in the thread. We encourage everyone involved in the testing to share their experiences here with the community at large, along with screenshots, videos, etc. We know there is a lot of anticipation out there, so this is one small way we can share early impressions of the bot among the community.

We have received a lot of requests from users anxious to join the testing.  It is not certain that we need to do further test rounds. We are studying the feedback reports, and we will be posting in about 10 hrs with an updated prognosis for V1 release.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Everyone

Just a quick update on a few things surrounding the beta release of the bot.The beta testers have now all gotten emails with instructions on how to download and install the Johnny 5 beta testing version. We will begin a compete wave of testing once all participants are ready to go. We will have a dedicated google spreadsheet system for reporting and recording any bugs found. Those of you who have volunteered for the testing round, please free up the time required during the next 48 hrs. If for any reason this is a problem please let us know and we will switch to another tester on your platform.

We are currently working on the Mac build and expect to have that done during the next 24 hrs.

We'd like to thank the community for all the great support during this development phase. One benefit of having such a supportive community is that when we do go through intensive development phases such as this, we are able to work relatively undisturbed, and in that creative space, solutions emerge that have broader applications. In particular, during these past three days the work we did on securing the bot in tandem with the unlocking panel system has opened several new doors for us.  Without disclosing too much detail, we have found a different way of securing access to the various panels that will be triggered by association with defined user groups, as opposed to staking levels.  This will give us enormous flexibility in the weeks and months to come with a number of our upcoming features.

We expect the beta testing to go smoothly. We have done exhaustive testing for well over a week now and the specific remaining issues are mainly known. Thanks to the beta testers for dedicating their time, and we'll be updating everyone both here on the thread and in the Lounges as their feedback comes in.

Hi Everyone

We have noticed there has been a bit of heated discussion on the bot during the last few days. We want to address a few of the issues that have been raised.

Firstly, our role as developers is to develop the coin, not to ensure the day to day price stability or good humor of investors. As you all know, we post almost daily in this thread, and are regularly available in the Lounges to answer questions etc.

The last week has been quite intense with the testing and bug hunting of the bot. We are now on our fifth build, which is checking in at 2800 plus lines of code. Clearly the delivery of the bot is late: this is due partly to the fact that we are are ensuring it will work on all main exchanges, and partly due to the fact that we are pushing ahead with the stop loss / time buy tech level, which we did not originally intend to be in the first version.  A final factor is that it is taking us time to make sure the bot will be protected from those who would seek to take our tech. This is our fiduciary responsibility to our investors and will be ensured.

Regarding the role of Bob:  we have several developers working on our project. They are all professional devs with their own networks inside and outside of crypto. One of them was contacted by Bob with some ideas on how to arrange the user experience within the bot in a way that would allow better trading on several markets simultaneously. They have explored several modifications of these ideas with Bob testing and providing feedback. While we do not condone this process, we respect our devs approaches to how they code, how they test, and how they bring their product to fruition. We choose not to micro-manage that process. Clearly Bob is an aggressive and smart trader. In the end, our bot will be a better bot for him having been one of the testers.

We are currently dealing with the last major section of the bot, the arbitrage panel. This will have a far faster and more intuitive trade flow than any bot currently out there, allowing traders to quickly exploit differences that appear between markets. As soon as the testing is finished on this section and the code base is completely secured, we will be releasing V1.  V2, currently being coded, will see the addition of the trading analyzer and the stop loss / time sells.

So to sum up: Features get added. Bugs happen. Suggestions are made. New builds are required. Commits must happen and ripple through several time zones. This is how rock solid tech gets released. And this is what we are currently engaged in.  Many of you have seen the bot in action, live. We understand the anticipation. And when it is released, the wait will have been well worth it.

Hi Everyone

Just a few updates concerning the bot -

Firstly it is clear that there have been some leaks of the early test versions in the forms of screenshots / videos. We are not particularly happy about that, of course, for many reasons. However we have neither the time or the inclination right now to isolate the source of the leak. That time is better spent on dev work. We would point out though that all the leaks we have seen so far are earlier versions, predating the actual current johnny build we are working on.

Our time right now is 24/ 7 bug squashing and finalizing some important internals of the bot that are not currently displayed in the GUI. We are currently on the third test build, and are very satisfied with how things are looking. A few notes:

- Cryptsy will not immediately be functional due to their antiquated API. As soon as their updating is complete we will test and enable Cryptsy functionality.

- CCEX has a max of 1 API call every 5 seconds. We are in a dialogue with them about this to find a workaround.

- We will be adding a trade analyzer so traders will be able to evaluate their own trading patterns, including such features as average buy, average cost, % up % down etc.

- Bitcoin wisdom - style candlestick charting is in the works

The feature we are most excited about is the stop-loss function which is being built in across the entire CIRC bot platform. The stop loss will be among the final features to be up -  ported into the  GUI from the working code base since it has to work across the board with all bot functions. However, by proceeding this way we ensure the smoothest possible integration of this feature when the time comes.

This will be the first time stop-loss functionality will be integrated into an automatic bot platform and marks a big step forward for traders looking for ultimate advantages in their trading methods. Timed buys and timed sells will be completely programmable, allowing you as a trader to enter and exit a moving market at precise price points.  Like the CIRC vDPOS and unlockable panels, our stop-loss enabled bot will be taking crypto into new territory.

Hi Everyone,

As the market shows, CIRC is on the rise. This has of course implications for access to the various Lounges, as it becomes more expensive to gain entry to the different lounges for newcomers. While it is naturally the right of early investors to enjoy these lounges, we want to make sure there is mobility for newcomers to move deeper into the community.

The developers have been discussing this and we are moving towards a solution that will involve a lowered entrance threshold for traders lounge, and a social voting system among the whales that will allow the most active traders a way to participate on the whale level while building their stake in preparation for admittance. There will be more details on this after the re-released wallet with the V1 bot.

Hi Everyone

Want to update the community on a few things -

Thanks for the offers to help with testing on the bot. We will initially be using one member on each platform. These individuals will be contacted tomorrow or Tuesday, when everything is ready to go. Please note: each tester will be receiving an individualized, signed build. This is both for analysis and tracking purposes,  and also to discourage leaks, screenshots, etc etc. Obviously this is a sensitive area and therefore we have settled on this approach.

The signature campaign is off to a great start, thanks to everyone who has pitched in and played a part. If you are not involved and want to be, just head on over to the Sig thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1141204.new

We have received many new requests for lounge invites. If you have sent all your info you will be getting your invite by the end of the day. It has taken us a while to clear the backlog but it will be done today. Thanks for your patience.

We are quite busy through the weekend getting the individual builds ready for the first Beta testing. We know everyone is hungry for more peeks at the bot, and especially since the test group is quite limited the first round, we'll be trying to post some more info and screenshots during the next 24 hours.

Finally, we would like to comment on some of the recent posts concerning the architecture of the Circuits project. We have a lot of smart people in this thread, a lot of savvy traders, a lot of Hero members. Several of you have deduced that there are connections between vDPOS and the various roll-outs of different features, and that much of what we do tends to build the market value of the coin at key points, while at other points new members have good opportunity to join, during distribution periods. This is not accidental. We recognize that a coin needs a healthy pattern of growth and distribution, to build community and to build value. Our architecture has worked well so far, and the upcoming stages will continue this process.

Most of all, we have designed and developed Circuits with the intention of being in the forefront of Crypto for a long, long time. Our unlockable panel technology is now thoroughly tested by all of you and has been working flawlessly for weeks. This underlying tech allows us essentially an unlimited evolutionary road map for the different features and panels we intend to build into Circuits. The bots and the gaming are at the forefront. But there is more in store. Much more.

We are glad all of you are on board.

Hi Everyone -

Just wanted to give a short update concerning the in-wallet trading bot. Barakus and the bot team pulled a 36 hr shift and finished squashing all the bugs, and have relayed the message
“Johnny 5 is alive!”

This means our in-wallet trading bot has completed the rigorous internal testing we designed and we are now ready to move into public beta testing. We have set up a test matrix with the major platforms and we need community members to help test the bot operations on the various OS's.

A number of you have already indicated your interest in helping with the testing. We need everyone who is interested and who has a minimum of 5 - 10 hours during the coming week to please fill out the form below and submit your details. We are looking for a wide range of users from all of our supported wallet releases, ie testers who are using Mac, Windows (7, 8, 10), and Linux.

The first beta testing round will start on Monday evening with just a few users and if no major bugs are found we’ll be expand the testing to include more users over the following days.

The final release of the bot will require a new wallet download. As we have made it clear, we will be doing the bot wallet change over methodically and not rushing. Our current estimate for this new wallet with in-wallet trading bot is Friday - Saturday this week, assuming the beta testing goes smoothly.

Please click the link below to sign up for the public beta:

P.S. Here is a preview image of the Circuits trading bot. On the left, you can see the original standalone version. One the right, all of the functions enabled with our custom UI interface. We wanted to give our community a glimpse of how far we’ve come since conception. We encourage beta testers to post screenshots of their wallets during the testing process as well.
