Re: [ANN][NBR] Nióbio Cash | FIRST WHATSAPP Cryptocurrency | Cryptonight-Heavy

Very unprofessional, very low technical skills, disapointingly bad coin. I'll cover all three claims in this post.

First: I've repeatedly sent messages to the team regarding an issue with the web wallet. First message was a month ago. The issue is a severe security issue and should without a doubt be fixed asap. But: I have not received any response, and the issue is still there.

Second: When I first started mining it appeared that the official pool was rather buggy. I thought, well, ok, might get better. Didn't, at a recent try I still loose connection like half the time, not with any other coin I harvest. But mostly the issue with the webwallet is incredibly dumb. I'm not going to give more details here, just say that it involves badly designed form and I've lost a substantial amount of my coins due to this.

Third: I do like the design, the availability of a webwallet and so on, but if the outside does not deliver, then it is merely an empty shell, tempted to say a shell full of s***. Nobody wants that.

In conclusion: don't buy, don't invest, don't mine!

Ha, guys did you see this?

Ryo official pool software was faulty since 7/7 in that sumokoin address miners would get "accepted shares" that internally were faulty, so for instance xmr-stak would report "shares accepted" but stats (and payout) on hashvault would report 0 hashrate.

Quite funny, and for some people quite angersome.

Re: [ANN][Airdrop][$LOK] Loki - Private Transactions & Comms

oh my  Cry

I generated a wallet with the offline-wallet-generator on May 5th. Dependency issues kept me from compiling the source to double check and I wanted to start mining. Now I have about 500 Loki sitting in an address LBVj***. So far so good, but...

I thought I'd like to take a look at the mined coins, downloaded the now available linux-cli, synced the blockchain, imported the wallet and... well this one says empty wallet, address is L9R6***, view and spend key though are the same. I really don't think I made a mistake back then, been doing similar procedures quite some times without mistakes, always double checking. Well, my mistake should have been that I didn't bother to try importing the seed earlier...

Question: did the offline-generator produce a faulty address or can I somehow recover the matching keys or is it lost forever?

Hey CryptoClausel, try restoring with your seed phrase to the Loki Linux GUI (available on their Github: https://github.com/loki-project/loki). The addresses should not be different. When I restored mine, the addresses were not different. Are you sure you copied down the correct keys and seed information for the matching public address?

Did try that just now. Was probably the first time I went for a gui wallet, usually prefer cli wallets, the forced look and feel here proves my point. Anyway, gives the same result as the cli wallet, different key.

I have tried recovering my steps and honestly, I cannot imagine how I could have managed to store a wrong public address for my seed. First I thought, well maybe I took the address first displayed (if there is one I usually press the button to generate a new one just in case), or had one from earlier from somewhere else. But: the generator does not display before pressing any button, I can not find the used address for any other wallet or on the internet. And as I said, right now, I kind of believe that the wallet generator did something bad.

What kind of hashrate do you get guys?

is 1450h good for a Vega64?

It good. But you can probably get another 50-100 more maybe if you optimize further. But remember each card can be different.

What are your settings? I get only 1375 with a Vega64Liquid.

They need to update the IOS wallet to see the transactions.

They really need to get the windows CLI/GUI wallet out already.
They also need to update the android app I'm getting a little skeptical of using it you cant send and there's no way of getting the private keys which to me is the most important way of backing up your wallet I have lost coins because one wallet passphrase wont work in a different or updated wallet and if I would of had the keys it I wouldn't have a issue

? did you not write down the seed ?
Importing worked fine with the seed for me...
