I am glad to see people helping each other on this thread. We don't have time to get to everyone's specific concerns or questions so I am happy to see more experienced crypto users helping those which are less experienced.

Yes you need to keep your wallet open to stake continuously (this is what is securing the network).

If you weren't on any of the two lists then you really messed up the registration and will NOT be receiving an airdrop.

We have applied to cryptopia for an exchange listing and we are waiting on them to process it from their side.

Strong words about people messing up the registration, especially when there were issues with address format and with airdrop instructions changing few times.
Anyway, does that mean that all users who were affected by upper case issue and then had to resubmit were manually checked? When I see responses in this thread and Telegram discussions, I don't think this happened.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

In generating the list of verified participants we noticed that many of you have inserted all-capitalised public key addresses.  Both public keys and private keys are case-sensitive. After some investigation, it appears that certain web browsers (Safari & Chrome) rendered the private and public keys in all-caps. For Edge and Firefox users there should not be a problem (but you should check just in case).

What this means is that participants may have to generate their keys again,  so that we have valid addresses to send the airdrop to. We have produced a list of users who inputted all-capitalised addresses (or who have failed to input a correct address in some other way).

https://docs.google.com/document/d/10zF2y0ySlHAYPUEgyAhSAHZQX0PcN67bT9BpKLs7Mmo/edit?usp=sharing

If you are on this list, and still wish to participate in the airdrop, you must go to http://kekcoin.co/airdrop/ and complete steps 2, 4, 5 & 7 ONLY again (this should take less than a minute).

The issue has now been resolved and all future participants must proceed as usual. We will work hard to ensure all participants who have been validated will receive their airdrop. A preliminary list of users who have been verified can be found here:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V9Jw1MthBABcVFzEUj9QLCOKjUcJ7YQLyQZIpIyI9As/edit?usp=sharing

I wonder why I'm not on the verified list. My registration was affected by that uppercase issue but I then repeated steps as suggested above. Could anyone check what's wrong?
Thanks

Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!!

If you guys go full POS, it will do nothing for demand.  I don't know why that is so hard to understand.  Why do I want UTC suddenly because you are PoS? Why do I want to buy a coin that changes it's mind as to what it is every other month?

The problem is this thread is full of bagholders trying anything to artificially boost the value of the coin with no regards as to what the perception of those actions will be.  Go to the parent of this thread and count how many PoS coins are on the front page and ask yourselves how those are doing.  How's mint?  How's Liberty?  How's Minerals, Sat2, Guerilla, Fire, Nxt, etc.  There are probably 50 more of them.

But I'm sure you're all stuck on Blackcoin's success.  How about Whitecoin?  It's down 90% from PoW phase.

You're just going to look flaky and desperate going full PoS.  It will be seen as manipulative by those not involved in the coin as it effectively gives bagholders all the leverage.  I seriously doubt it will raise demand, but I can see it completely killing it.

+1
Going full PoS would mean one pump a then big bagholders' dump. Then the coin is dead. And really asic resistant.

UPDATE #2 AS PROMISED

Dear Ultracoin Community members,

Here is a more detailed and positive announcement about the new Management/Owner team of UTC.

We have reached a full agreement and it is official now!!!

The new team has my full approval and from now on they are in full control and have total decision making authority for the bright future of Ultracoin.

The new Management/Owner team of UTC is as follows;

1; Director of Planning and Marketing – Paul (Paulr1)
    Background: Business Management College
Occupation : Business Company Owner and Investor

2; Director of Systems and Coin Development – Fabian (Fabietech)
    Background: University degree of Economics
Occupation : Business Company Director and Investor

3; Director of Treasury with audit responsibility – Ming Changi ll-Suang
Occupation : Business Company Owner and Investor

Offcourse the new Management team has more members, each with specific skills and tasks.
The new Management team/Owners will reveal their team members soon in detail to all of you.

From now on I will go slowly to the background and I will continue to serve UTC, the UTC-team and the UTC-community as Strategic Advisor and as project manager of the Minecraft plugin,so this does not mean im quitting or leaving. It simply means that its time for ultracoin to have professionals leading it into the future.

Please have a little more patience and give the new team some extra time to reveal their full team, plans and their tactics. This will take about one or two weeks from now..

I know they are very buisy with it in the background, since we are working together in transfering all accounts and services.

I believe this changes will lead to serious attention of the market and (big) buyers and investors so it will lead in time to more demand of UTC on the exchanges.
This is a huge step for Ultracointo reach the place it deserves !

I am doing this in the best interrest of the future of Ultracoin, and i believe this is the best course of action for the future of the coin.

Regards,
Michael.

Very interesting news Michael. Moon!

So sad that people who did nothing were paid so well and DCgirl got almost nothing. This is something what should be improved. Otherwise money from acisc will be useless.

There is an amazing development going on in UTC team. But there is no buzz about it. And without buzz, there are no buyers. I can understand why DCgirl feels exhausted and disappointed. So much work and so low results (i mean price). I dare say - stop doing anything unless there is marketing plan for it. Doing amazing stuff nobody knows about is nonsense.
Current crypto world is announcement powered. There are announcements about announcements and announcements about bullshit. UTC has a lot to announce. You can promote even things currently in development. Look at Stuhlman - his PR communication about Caix is really good.
Sad thing is that we are in need for serious promotion work for weeks. Are there any news?

Personally I continue to hold my bags and hope for the better future.

Alt market is tough business. All alt threads are full of crying now. Except for DRK Cheesy
If this is too hard for you, better to leave all alts.
I'm still holding. Lost a lot until now but it makes no sense to sell at this price.

Just wait for hashfever explanation. No need to worry. And anyway, things like hacks and scams are happening almost everyday in crypto. Live with it or better leave crypto for your own good.

NO NO ...no shut it !

You can have more as 50k of twitter followers but how many of your followers are really aware of crypt coins Huh

How many of your followers are crypt coin miners Huh
How many of your followers are crypt coin byers Huh
How many of your followers are crypt coin investors Huh
How many of your followers are crypt coin bag holders Huh

Yes nice and sexy nude girls you have on your twitter account as "followers" ...I dear even to say I am jealous...

But we need serious miners, byers and investors not a trendy and hip hop rapper audience and sexy stupid girls who write stupid text on there body's and are totally NOT aware of what they are talking and twittering about...

Marnie, do you know his followers? How can you now that ultracoin investors are not among them? And part of the mission of UTC is bring crypto to the people. He is doing exactly this.

Well it is quite easy. Just post all the news here regularly, update the first post properly and keep posting so this thread stays on first page. Not being here is like you need no buzz for POP. Actually what we are doing here right now is exactly what is needed.

Alvin, it looks like after a lot of trading you finally discovered where the big money is. Massive IPO that is the answer.
