Is this actually viable for profit? I have heard mining for Monero is easier but have been hesitant to try it.

DeepOnion has its own forum.
https://deeponion.org/community/

And maybe CryptoCompare, but it's more comment based than a real forum.
https://www.cryptocompare.com/forum/
I'll add those to the list, thanks!

Re: Do you know a reliable website with reviews for ico ?

The best advise I can give you is to not fully trust those sites, as they will tend to be bias. Instead, find your local group that are into ICOs and join them. You will soon get the pattern on how they choose their ICO and you can track their success rate. You can then follow their pattern in the meantime while you're building your confidence doing it yourself.

Hi wvizmanos. What do you mean when you say local group into ICO's? Thanks in advance! Dave the newbie  Wink

I too am very new to the crypto arena but have been slowly building on my crypto holdings. It may have been a little premature for the amount I hold, but the first thing I did was purchase a cold storage wallet (Ledger Nano S). Some may argue the $100 was overkill for the amount I held at the time (and currently hold), but I honestly feel it's a great 'up front' investment for the peace of mind. I plan to continue building my crypto holdings and as I do, I'll continue to move them offline to my Ledger. I hope this helps  Smiley

Thank you for this! I will be checking in on it. I'm very new to the crypto world and ALMOST fell for providing my private key not so long ago. They can be quite convincing...

Pretty obvious it's all going on right now. Every time I look at GDAX it's either up by 100 then plateau, or down by 100 and the same. Repeat.

A great piece of advice I was given when purchasing my Ledger Nano S is to only purchase it directly from the manufacturer. It cost a little more, but I definitely have peace of mind it hasn't been tampered with. If you decide to purchase a Ledger Nano S and not from the manufacturer, make sure you reset the device and create a new seed!

Hardware wallet for storing cryptocurrencies (wallets like Trezor and Ledger Nano).
I do the same and also use MEW for tokens. Hopefully I will be using a new EOS wallet soon too!
