It is a threat to all centralized organizations. At first the Blockchain was only good for creating new Cryptocurrencies but it has shown to have have the power to revolutionize major industries.
So crypto adaption could cause a paradigm shift of major industrial players. This will affect organizations that remain centralized.

We all know about the price fluctuations before investing in Bitcoin. Many of us were attracted by the price spikes but we have come to know that Bitcoin is not only capable of spiking up but it can spike downs as well.
I'm saying this because the statistics how that Bitcoin made tremendous growths but the rate of decrease is also  huge.

Thanks for the knowledge shared. As newbies it would help if we can concentrate more on learning about cryptos to get a fair idea and fundamental knowledge base of  blockchain before we begin to engage in any sort of activity.
This forum is highly reputable for being educative, ones post and replies can have impacts on another and for that reason they must be correct information.

Hello.

do you think it's a good time to invest in Ethereum?
The price of ether has reduced drastically to about $350, this is far below what many presumed to have been the lowest of Ether.
Whiles many may have lost faith: I think it is the best time to buy.

Re: Bounty Earnings
by
CryptoFeller
on 09/08/2018, 23:59:31 UTC
Hi guys.

Out of curiosity, what are you earning with bounty campaigns?
I think I'm somewhere near 1K USD/month, but I guess there have to be people here who are earning lots more.

Kind regards

EDIT:

As many people do not believe these profits, I will explain how I make them.

I focus on the translation campaigns (dutch). A translation pays +- 3 ETH on average. I have only started (only 1 translation has been paid, I received +-2 ETH), but as I can make up to 3 translations/month (currently working on 2 more), this would get me 9 ETH/month.  As not every project is succesful, let's say I will receive 4,5 ETH/month.

Do not focus on signature campaigns or social media campaigns, these are the crumbs (especially for members with lower ranks) while translation campaigns are probably the bread.

I use the Bountyhive platform to manage my bounty participations, this platform makes it possible to be enrolled in 10 campaigns at the same time, without having to report.

Congratulations on your earnings.  Truly I haven't  earned more than 1Ether from participating  in signature, media and social media campaigns. But I cannot participate in translation campaigns because I live in an English  speaking country and it the only language I fluent in.
So is there another way for me?

The market has been down for too long. Do you feel like quitting cryto because you ve lost much?
For me, am a die hard fan of crypto. I will be a coward if i run away. I will stay till the green light shows. What about you?
I felt that way last three months, I was a bit heart broken because I participated in few scam icos.
But I learnt some lessons from the mistakes I made.
So my way of assessing icos and bounties have changed and I learnt to take responsibility of my decisions

This is true and it is always seen that the slot for about 4000-6000 telegram campaign participants is filled in few hours after its launch.
But one thing I know for sure is that bountyhive has a huge crowd or number of bounty participants. They hardly host a scam project and that attract a lot of bounty hunters.
So it could be that all those slot are filled by real people.

Which are the best competitors to Ethereum, and why do you think so?

(I know on top of my head that Cardano and IOTA try to challenge Ethereum,
although they still haven't proved much from my understanding?)

Recently EOS has gotten a lot of attention. It is seen that eos maintained its price during the long fall of the crypto market and it rose together with Bitcoin whiles Ethereum stayed the same. An article I read termed eos as the 'Ethereum killer'

Re: Bitcoin cannot be a global currency

Bitcoin has a long shot away from being a global currency.
We could say for sure that there are few people in almost every country in the world who uses own own BTC but that doesn't make it global.
However I still believe in the power of decentralization, it's transparent and gives power to the people. People are always attracted to stuffs like that.

on 24/07/2018, 23:17:45 UTC
Recently I saw an article that said that 4/5 ICOs of projects in the year 2018 has failed. Among the 4, many turn out to be scams
Sometimes some of the projects do not pay the boubty or airdrop rewards because it fails to reach its target and the invested amounts are privately shared to the investors.
So you should try to be very selective with the projects you use valuable resources for.

Of course we are all stake holders. Moreover the prime task of the bounty hunter is to promote and support and not be a cause to the failure of the project.
The problem is that some bountyhunters are just attracted to the rewards and don't really care about the prospects and potential of the project.

It's a Very Struggling time for Cryptocurrencies. The Market Goes down approx 10 to 15 Percent. Bitcoin Drop down $7k, On the other Hand, Ethereum goes down $400.
As of this moment the market seems to be reviving after a major fall. Recently the price of Bitcoin went below $6K.
However the price is about $7.5k.
This is good  because it is reviving the spirit of people in the crypto community.

It is important to critically analyze your options. Taking into consideration your potential portfolio returns with the risk associated.
I would choose to diversify in such situations.
