Ethereum can get the overhand due to the fact that they have token support.(eventho this won't happen any soon, it is still possible )

Tokens are gonna be used by alot of new startups, this will probably boost the eth market alot.

I've tested it and apart from the virus alerts ( which as far as i can tell are harmless, i've tested the application behaviour in sandbox ),

Ethereum won't surpass btc but it will raise sky high for sure.
