To all that have replied, thank you.

Putting the whole idea of collateral aside, I'd like to just simply know of financial institutions that are open minded to working with a cryptocurrency business. We have been having difficulties with traditional financial institutions. Any suggestions of companies open to cryptocurrency businesses would be appreciated.

Your loan could be granted if you are applying for someone here in forum that you can meet personally to obtain those miners. But if you are referring to a banking loan and you'll use those miners as collateral, it would be very difficult for you. There are standards that has been set for them to grant someone's loan even the manager has knowledge with mining or cryptocurrency, he can't accept that easily. They have set protocols on what are the do's and don'ts for collateral. But if there's a bank that allows it to happen, that bank is certainly supporting crypto and their management is knowledgeable about it. Don't you have any other assets that you can use as collateral like car or house? but I guess you are only asking and you are not in dire situation.

I'm not in dire need. We currently have funds for the equipment. We are looking for alternatives to the funding we already have. It is not necessary for us to use the miners as collateral, it was just a thought. We do have other assets that can be used as collateral. I mostly would like to find a lending institution that is open to working with a crytocurrency business. Therefore non-traditional financing.

Thank you everyone for the replies. Besides using miners for collateral, in general, are there any financial institution that minimally would provide loans knowing your business is in the mining of cryptocurrency? Some of the more well known traditional institutions have been unresponsive or not interested in providing our organization with a loan. Just wondering if there are more progressive or open minded lenders out there.

Financing Using Miners as Collateral?

I hope this is the correct place to post this. If not, moderators please tell me where it would be appropriate.

Does anyone know of companies that would be willing to provide financing by using mining equipment as collateral? I know this is an unusual scenario. Finding financial institutions that understand mining and the value of the equipment is difficult.

If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you.

Can anyone actually get a purchase to go through on this new page? Sorry for cross posting, but I keep getting my orders mysteriously disappearing...
I also can't get my ship to info in there very properly - Had to jam in my Canadian address in the "other details" or whatever that field is. I see people had some luck with Lynn direct via skype?
I ordered direct from Lynn via skype back in Nov when then had them then. She made invoice, via skype, I wired money, 2 day later she confirmed, via skype (after I aksed), 2 days later she send tracking (after I asked) via skype.

This new website just came online a few hours ago and looks to be a work in progress, I'm not sure they even have machines, E9 or 10. I wouldn't order anything from the new website yet.

Did you actually receive them?

Has anyone else purchased from them before and received product? And are they working well?

Thanks!

Has anyone read the review on Hacked? https://hacked.com/ico-analysis-envion/
Thoughts?

Too negative in my opinion.

Generally I'm convinced about the concept and as far I can say today the founders and team as well.

Beside that some very weill known public persons in Germany joined the advisory board.

For me one of the ICO's with the most substance behind, i've seen so far.

But why wouldn't representatives from Envion answer these two questions mentioned in the Hacked review, they both seem very valid to me.

“What’s the name of the production company that is building the MMU’s?”
“Who is going to supply Envion with thousands of ASIC miners, aren’t they always sold out?”

Not sure if anyone follows Ian Balina on Twitter but he posted 2 hours ago about Exscudo suggesting it may be a scam due to date changes.

I'm not in anyway suggesting I agree or disagree with him. Just wanted to share the information.

I have been monitoring their Telegram channel. They are quite responsive with answers there. Although there may be only one person a time answering the questions. It can take a bit for a reply. Our team will be keeping an eye on this ICO.

Hello,

Does anyone know if US citizens can participate in the pre-sale?
Hello, you can find it in FAQ.
"24. Can I buy BioCoin from outside of Russia?
Purchase of BioCoins is possible from all the countries. The only restriction lies in laws of countries."

Hello 130ndim,

Thank you for the reply. I did read the FAQ and saw that information. I just thought it was a bit vague and I was looking for confirmation.

I have some questions. Is AirSwap an investment token or just a credit token? Seems more like a credit token. What’s in it for the investor? What is the upside for an investor?

I like this Project but they are not realy proactive on sharing and providing Community with information. I hope results from presale is announced today in order to facilitate participation in the mainsale.

Hi,

We raised 17000 ETH in the pre-sale.

Cheers

Hello JelenaKoen,

Thank you for answering Cauchy's question. Could you also clarify what percentage of total tokens were given out for the 17000 ETH during the pre-sale?

Thank you.

Re: [ANN] Snip - The Future of News on the Blockchain
by

I have a few more questions for a Snip representative:

1.  Since there is no mining of coins, how are you encouraging people to put nodes on the network?
2.  How are you decentralizing the public ledger?
3.  How are you decentralizing the IPFS nodes?  Are they all owned and controlled by Snip company?

1. SnipCoin is an ERC20 token. We don't have our own blockchain. We of course encourage people to put notes on Ethereum network...
2. What public ledger?
3. We will use the existing IPFS nodes, and hopefully will add some of our to the network. The IPFS is decentralized and not controlled by Snip Smiley

Thanks very much for the quick reply!

Can a representative of Snip expand on the recent announcement of a partnership with Bancor and Matchpool. What are the pros for these partnerships? Do these partnerships change any of Snip's plans?

Additionally, can you explain how Snip will address the issue of plagiarism? How will Snip know if an article has been plagiarized by a writer from an outside source? Are there concerns by Snip of financial consequences due to plagiarism associated lawsuits?
Hey this is Ran, glad to expand. Actually the two partnerships are quite different in style. With Bancor, the goal is to improve the management of the token and making it easier to use for our community. The token changer protocol could be quite useful for that. With Matchpool, the focus is on adding more high-quality writers which will improve the Snip product. Like with AdEx, we're constantly looking for partnerships which make sense and complement the things that we're focused on, meaning we'll partner on things that aren't our core business (ML, Writer Relations, Website dev).

Regarding plagiarism, in the upcoming months we'll be checking every uploaded article manually to make sure that it's authentic. Over time we'll improve our technologies to make the manual process unnecessary. This is a technology that already works well for YouTube with a much harder problem (video copying) and we're confident that we can manage it. Btw, copied snippets are bad snippets since the idea is to explain the topic in a short and concise way that's usually different from classical media writing.

Hope the answer is clear.

Thank you for the quick reply!
