Has Anyone Seen Or Used A Bitcoin ATM Before?
by
CryptoGenius10
on 25/06/2019, 16:08:00 UTC
I've seen a lot of articles covering mainstream adoption (https://tipestry.com/topics/5d12083013fe3c5fa63e1276/new-era-is-coming-bitcoin-revolution), but I personally haven't seen or used any of this new technology that they've talked about. I was curious to see if any fellow crypto enthusiasts have used a Bitcoin ATM and do you think other crypto currency ATM's could be something we see in the future? What do you think?

Why Do Crypto Enthusiasts Hate Facebook Coin?
by
CryptoGenius10
on 24/06/2019, 19:19:57 UTC
I understand that Libra coin is "centralized", but so is XRP...How can you love XRP, but hate Libra coin? Granted, I don't support or like FB, but this is a giant step towards mainstream adoption. This is a HUGE turning point for this community. If you read the article linked below, you can see how many ppl despise this coin. They think that this is "bad" for the community, but in actuality this is a giant step towards mainstream adoption/acceptance.

Isn't This The Same As Bing Rewards Except In Crypto?
by

I was reading about this new "innovative idea" that sounds exactly like Bing Rewards. It's not a bad idea, but crypto is nowhere near mainstream adoption. Unless they can think of someway to reach millions of people, then this will probably be a bust. What do you guys think?

Trading vs HODLing
by
CryptoGenius10
on 14/05/2019, 05:03:10 UTC
Right now, HODLing is making me some pretty good gains. Before I HODL'ed, I was using Wolfpackbot tho. Some days I was gaining .5% and others I was gaining closer to 2%. It depends on how the market is going tho. Sideways markets seem to work well with the bot vs bull markets and investing/hodling. What would you guys suggest? What are you guys using to trade? Do any of you use bots like the Wolfpackbot?

Has Anyone Else Made Some Extra Crypto With A Side Hustle?
by

Do any of you guys know of some good side jobs that allow you to make some extra crypto? It used to be bounty campaigns, but those are a waste of time now. Right now, I'm using Tipestry to try and make some extra money by giving some insider information to the community about ICO, IEO, and financial intuition (https://tipestry.com/). However, I'm looking to expand my crypto revenue sources. Do any of you guys have any suggestions that aren't Tipestry or bounty campaigns?

Re: Any Use Cases For Dogecoin?
by

I was recently tipped a decent amount of Dogecoin on Tipestry for posting about a bunch of different cryptos. Should I convert the Dogecoin to BTC or ETH? Does Dogecoin have a future? I'm thinking about keeping it on Tipestry for a while and then transferring it out to my ledger (assuming I don't convert it to BTC/ETH)

I personally wouldn't use it, but if you're getting tipped in it, then I don't think it would hurt to hodl it for a week or so before converting it to another currency.

Why Didn't Any Of You Think Of This?
by

on 22/04/2019, 02:37:30 UTC
This is such a simplistic idea, but it allows anyone to comment on anything without the fear of being banned. If you want to call someone out on their BS, then you can by using this app. This is perfect for garbage ICO's that lie to the community and sensor people who are trying to expose them for what they are. If any of you encounter an ICO that is scamming someone, make sure you post about it using this app so others can know. We don't need degenerates scamming more innocent people within this community.

Re: Why Nauticus Will Continue To Gain Popularity
by

There were many exchanges that gained popularity and became mainstream... Nowadays Binance is 8th in marketcap, while its ICO raised just 15 millions.. By the way, did you know that ICObench rated Binance with a 2.9? all said... dont trust ICOBENCH ratings.. most are just paid shills. So to the point.. Nauticus is a very promising exchange with a core team experienced in the matter.. i wont be surprised if achieve soon a TOP 50 place in CMC!

I completely agree. Binance did a great job and I trust their exchange. They've given me 0 issues since I started using them a year ago. They got into the crypto scene before the "big boom" and did a great job of marketing their exchange. I think with exchanges that are newcomers (Nauticus) it will take a bit more time, but once the ball gets rolling it will continue to roll until they achieve their goals.

Nauticus, hmmm i guess you are just trying to give this exchange some kind of hype because it will surprise you that am just getting to know that it is an exchange which means that,it is not popular as claimed.

I think you misinterpreted me. Nauticus is CONTINUING to gain in popularity, I never said it was the most popular exchange. Also, look at the price action from this last week. NTS is up 35% in just 7 days. I'm not trying to say I'm a psychic or anything, but if you listened to me you would of made some decent money. Do as you please tho! Whatever floats or sinks your boat.

I had some nauticus tokens from months ago and after seeing this thread i remembered them and went to check the price. So the long and the short of it was a shilling thread. There is no "continuous gain popularity" so far.

By what measurement? The price? That's not a valid measurement of exchange users or supporters of the project as a whole. The coin price has remained pretty stable for the past 3 months. I don't think there was a single ICO exchange coin (2018) that has risen in price. It's all about finding the ones that have the potential for growth.

It will gain popularity but not through the way that Binance got. People from here will recognize it that every single thread that they have read, there will be an attached link directly to Nauticus.

And that's how the people will recognize your exchange. If we're going to enter to the bull run, we will see if this exchange and their coin is really getting that attention because everything would increase by that time but I can't tell about them.

If there's ever another bull run I'll be set for life with the amount of BTC, NTS, BNB and ETH I have.

For the fact that they raised a lot of funds from conducting ICO doesn't mean they are gaining popularity or they will gain popularity.
A popular exchange don't need a lot of introduction before anyone knows about it, we can see same for exchange like binance, which even newbies who don't know much about crypto still know what binance is but this exchange you mentioned is one that I haven't heard of their operations or even heard of the ICO that was earlier carried out.

Binance had first movers advantage. If Nauticus would of launched during the 2016 or early 2017 era, then they would be in the same position as Binance. A lot of community members are new to crypto, they don't remember how ancient these exchanges are lol.

Does it really gain any popularity? I do not think so. In this big crypto winter we're in, I think only Binance gets something.
We are having binance and we don't need such a crappy platform that used so many shills to promote its platform. The UI looks so bad. binance is enough for us. It doesn't gain any popularity and the price already traded below the ico price.

Binance is honestly a good platform, but that's about it. Most people don't qualify for the $10,000 trading deposits other exchanges use and Coinbase Pro is a legitimate scam. I stopped trusting them after that whole Bitcoin Cash fiasco. That was clear insider trading, then the exchange has a meltdown costing investors thousands of dollars because it couldn't handle the transaction volume. They are supposed to be the "premier" exchange, yet they failed. Not a good look for their company.

As far as Nauticus goes, you can use whatever exchange you want Smiley If you don't want to invest or branch out to other exchanges/platforms, then that's 100% ok! I think the UI looks fine, especially compared to Binance. If we are being honest, this community has a long way to go. The CEO of Binance said it was safe for investors to store their coins on the exchange. Really...just because they haven't had a hack yet, doesn't mean they won't eventually. Things like this make me trust these companies less and less, but to each their own.

Why Nauticus Will Continue To Gain Popularity
by
CryptoGenius10
on 06/03/2019, 06:43:48 UTC
For those of you that don't know, Nauticus is an exchange based in Australia. They were an ICO throughout the course of 2018 and raised over $17,000,000. Now, I've seen a lot of trailer trash ICO's last year and this is not one of them. The price of NTS has stabilized right around the ICO price. If the ICO was trash, then it would of fell 80% like the majority of ICO's inevitably do. I think this exchange will continue to grow in popularity and I also think NTS (their native token) will grow in price throughout the duration of 2019. If we enter another bull market, then this could be an excellent long term pick for quality gains. What do you guys think of the potential of both Nauticus and NTS? The link below will take you to the exchange, let me know if you agree with my assessment or if you feel indifferent about the project. Why I Don't Do Bounty Campaigns & Why You Shouldn't Either
by
CryptoGenius10
on 22/02/2019, 01:39:33 UTC
So a few months ago I did some bounty work for a company called Swachhcoin. Like many of you, I spent countless hours developing and creating posts that highlighted key features of the platform. Fast forward several months...they tell all of us bounty campaign participants that we will have to pass KYC to receive the NEW swachhcoin tokens (SWACHH). My previous Swachhcoin tokens (SCX) are now worth $0 and I will have to do KYC to get my new usable tokens. Also, they set a monthly limit of how many tokens we can sell. We will receive 10% each month to prevent dumping. I like this idea, but NONE of this was presented during the bounty campaign period. I also bought 2 ETH worth of tokens and they've delayed the project at least 2 times! To me, this is unprofessional, ridiculous, and outlandish. Sorry for the rant, but this is the exact reason I've been slowly putting my money into projects that I think have a future. I'm trying to stay away from the bad apples and put some leftover money aside into Bitcoin, Nauticus, Ethereum, EOS, and even XRP.

New Exchanges vs Old Exchanges
by
CryptoGenius10
on 16/02/2019, 20:13:55 UTC
A lot of members on here use Binance and Coinbase Pro. Both of those exchanges have been around for a while and they both have their own advantages/disadvantages. However, you aren't going to make serious money by investing in utility coins like BNB. If you would have bought BNB back when it was below $.25 you would probably be a millionaire, but how many of us actually did that? There's a lot of newer projects out there that are showing promise within this community. I look for projects with active developers, marketing campaigns, and future outlooks.

What about you guys? What are some good exchanges out there that aren't

- Coinbase
- Nauticus
- Binance

Everyone already knows these 3, don't tell me about Bittrex or Kraken either. If you think there's a good exchange that's structured similarly to Binance (BNB) or Nauticus (NTS), then let me know.

Re: Omnity Could Emerge As A Leading Research Based Search Engine
by
CryptoGenius10
on 11/10/2018, 19:59:13 UTC
Omnity is creating a search engine that caters to a unique niche market. Omnity realizes that they won't be able to compete against giants in the field such as Google or Bing. This is why Omnity has designed a platform that caters to a few different search sectors. This will allow them to exploit these sectors & take advantage of the lack of focus in this industry. If you have the time, take a look at this article written by Forbes covering Omnity. Let me know what you think about the potential of this project.

What You SHOULD Look For When Buying Alt Coins Or ICO's
by
CryptoGenius10
on 02/10/2018, 23:18:20 UTC
Intro:

First things first...the glory days of 2017 are OVER! You will NOT quadruple your investment in one week like you could back in 2017. Your best bet is to invest with long term goals in mind (HODL). For instance, I choose to invest in a few new projects this year that I think have the ability to be solid future investments. If crypto enters another bull market stage like it did last year, then Ethereum, XRP, & Bitcoin should rise. However, there is no current indication that shows we are heading in this direction.

What I PERSONALLY Look For In An ICO Or New Project:

I like looking for projects that have visionaries at the helm. I want a project that has massive funding goals that are within the realm of attainability. For instance, Omnity is an ICO that has a creative solution to a real problem. Their pre-ICO funding raised 9 million dollars. Their goal is to raise 50 million dollars (hard cap goal). This is a project that wants to reshape an existing industry, but they are NOT overstepping their boundaries in this particular industry. Their competitors would be companies like Google & Firefox. They would be able to co-exist alongside these companies, because they provide value that doesn't currently exist.

XRP:

There are a lot of investors in this community that are opposed to XRP due to the fact XRP is not 100% decentralized. Even though XRP is technically an anomaly in the crypto community, it is poised for success because they are working with existing industries that would benefit from embracing their technology.

Summary:

When looking for a quality project or altcoin, you need to look for something that you can see people utilizing on a daily basis. I can see companies using Eth, Omnity, & XRP. This is why I personally like these altcoins/ICO's.

ICO Mentioned:

Omnity

Altcoins Mentioned:

XRP
ETH

in my opinion the issue with these specific projects are that they are insanely overvaluated for what they actually offer, just as the early ico boom where
any shit project could get millions and millions of funding and in the end nothing happened. what exactly is it that makes this project WORTH investing in?
why is anyone going to get return, realistically? it's yet another project going on the hype

Projects with a utilitarian use that patients or doctors would want to use. For instance, lets say you create a revolutionary product that helps spread the perfect amount of peanut butter onto bread. It works better than a knife, is easier to use, and always makes the perfect peanut butter sandwiches. Who would buy this though? What would incentive consumers to buy this product? TBH, nothing would because making peanut butter sandwiches is simple and easy already. You need a project that patients would either want to use, or a project that helps patients or doctors better their situation. Most of the ICO's that exist today are trying to solve problems that don't exist. Projects with purpose will be able to create something of value that people want to invest/buy.

I'm not sure if you're saying I'm wrong or I'm right,
how could anyone expect patients (in large enough masses) to adopt a system that currently is in an "ICO phase" utilizing "blockchain technology"?
bitcoin will go to all time high and back down to (at that point) lowest low many times before such a system is adopted in large enough scale for it to actually pay off as an investment.
(again, my opinion only!)

I mean, blockchain is a relatively new concept (not really but compared with the old ways it is), is really the health care sector/incredibly slow government machinery known for being good at adopting new things?
half the world backend is still running windows 95!

Clinical trials have already been conducted & they show the project to be effective. They just need the money to finish marketing the product.

The blockchain is going to permeate almost every segments of society, healthcare is no exception. There has been several projects dedicated to the industry, it is too early to judge if they will make a huge impact or not, dodecamix, shivom, digipharm, medichain, medical chain etc

I'm hoping these projects can make a decent impact in those communities. I agree, health care is no exception. Blockchain technology is slowly changing the landscape of the free market as we know it.
