It was released about 10 minutes ago. OP is a fucking retard. Can't you count?? 19:00 , not 18:45 for fks sake

Pool ops didn't listen and started early, so we had to release early so you all wouldn't miss out. Investigating now.

No you didnt have to release early. What is so fucking hard about keeping your Github private until release? You're literally a retard for giving the source to pools before release.

Don't give the source to pools, no pools active at launch, people complain. Give the source to pools, pools start early, people complain.

Sometimes you just can't win.

Yeah, I hear you.  Someone will always complain.  I guess my vote would be everyone gets source at the same time.  Sure, miners can't mine right away, but within a few minutes pools will be up and running assuming the coin builds fine.

lol both pools i signed up with are not working

missedboat.exe

back to DOGE

Anyone looking for a pool up and running, the Hashery is at your service: http://rpd.cryptohashery.com/

RapidCoin - Why did pools have access to the source early (we didn't, but apparently others did?). Just asking for trouble if you do that.

"0.00000010 Block reward for the first 419 blocks (Conveniently set to allow you to get your miners running)"

Am I just tired or was this not thought out well? How much time is really reasonable to get our miners going? Has a relatively aggressive 10 minute difficulty re-target so we're not going to blow through blocks at a low difficulty. 221 second block time x 419 blocks = 92,599 seconds / 60 = 1543 minutes / 24 = 64 days and change. I don't think miners really need 64 days to prepare thy miners.............

and cryptohashery... YOU SUCK!!

Not constructive, but point taken.  Never had a problem compiling the source before, but it keeps failing on me.  Other than making the build detect script executable, did other pools owners have to do anything?

Like this coin because it is well prepared. Quite unusual these days..

+1 for online wallet

CryptoHashery - not a good solution for a pool. They really couldn't handle PENG launch and they stil owe me 110k PENG, because I can not withdraw it from my account. I was with contact with them but they didn't help and the problem is not solved. I hope guys from CryptoHashery will read this.

So until they solve old problems I am a NO NO to CryptoHashery pool.

CryptoHashery pool = problems

I've been mining with cryptohashery for months (various coins) and have never had an issue with them.

Thank you for the kind words.  We have had our issues in the past, but we are not scammers!  I do sincerely apologize for the rough start with Penguin the other day, but we addressed those issues and will continue to improve.

Very True Statement. Also messed me about during PENG launch.

We did have problems with multiple DDoS attacks, which we have since addressed.

Pools should change the confirmation of 120 too like 20 or something. 120 is high...

Diff is dropping = more coins!! Cheesy Too the mooooon

this is not something the pools decide, its the network, its built that way, look at litecoin, bitcoin.. well any coin actually...

not block re-targert, i meant the pool confirms for blocks. The coin specs are perfect.

This CAN be changed, and pool owners do it to get more miners in there pool:

http://gyazo.com/eada243b4d001ec55ce05e405e9c928f.png

Yes, pool owners can do it, but as stated a little further up, that means they are pulling coins out of their own pocket to pay you earlier and then the operators are waiting the 5ish hours to get the payout.  You can do it, but there is risk involved.

crypticpool will end in a scam or why does it take ages for confirmation?

has anybody a pool with faster confirmation?

peng.cryptohashery.com is set for 120 confirmations.  Not sure if you consider that faster, slower, or the same.
