I apologize but I actually edited your ticker and gave it to the dev's. Doubt they know I copied the source but I'm happy to make further adjustments to it.
My outlook on aircoin has become less positive since I last stopped in.
In fact it has hit the floor.
If I was a malicious developer and the price was failing: I would announce a great amazing new coin that you can get 1:1 for your old cheap worthless aircoins in hopes of people buying them up in a frenzy. When people start buying up the old crappy coins I would start dumping the premine. I would then retire to the bahamas.
Of course I'm not a malicious dickhole but that is what they would do if they were smart.
In any case, it's hard to have faith when the devs jump ship like this...
And I just bought more aircoins too. Guess I'm a bagholder.

!? 14k worth of air sell orders on polo and you think they are going to dump enough of the premine to retire to the bahamas? At current rate less than 2btc is all thats needed to eat up all the buy orders.

lol investors in this are fucked, No way will they see a return on their BTC. There was never going to be enough buy support. Frankly it doesn't matter if the dev is Australian or not, this coin was fucked from the get go. Doesn't offer anything, No way to attract miners, No airdrop, No way to attract merchants, terrible logo and now a bad reputation.
I could knock out a better coin in 48 hours and start an airdrop next week using AEC (Australian Electoral Commission).

Does the dev team know that DGWv2 isn't going to kick in till block 45,000? Looks like the source was copied from darkcoin with none of the required code for difficulty updated.
And yet another Troll, I bet you're one of those who are trolling threads and demand ramson to the Dev in exchange of removing the comments. lol wot?? I was going through the code...This is actually a pretty big deal but its not hard to fix...If nobody like me alerted the dev's then you would have the true trolls exploiting this coin.
i'll first patch Limecoin against Openssl heartbleed attack. FerchoDev is going to fix difficulty (trying to do it without a hard fork >_< but if its necessary we will do it ).
Might be able to get away with it as KGW hasn't even kicked in yet. But even a hardfork is likely better than leaving it as is. Sorry for posting publicly, Should have just pm'd you.
At any rate it's nothing for us miners to stress out about and I'm sure the dev's will fix it up soon

Thanks for this info, I have no tech know - what does this mean for the mining going on right now ?
The code is a bit of a mess right now but what it bassically means is that currently LimeCoin isn't using KGW or DGWv1 or v2.
At block 15200 KGW kicks in...Doesn't look like the updated version either.
Then at block 34140 DGWv1 kicks in.
Then at block 45000 DGWv2 kicks in.
Until block 45000 this coin is susceptible to exploits. Dev's will likely have to fix the code quickly and then hard fork, which means everyone will have to update wallets shortly.

Amusing that you think the pool owners should spend more money on renting rigs just to make you feel safe. I take it you have no idea the cost of running pools?

Now I have a newbie question I solomine more AIR with my crappy, crappy 200 kh GPU than I do with the pools at this current difficlty. Is this just luck or is it because I live less than 30 miles from their servers in Chicago and have less latency?
ping should be 0ms when you solomine...Best way to think of it is that your wallet is the pool. But it's probably more to do with luck than anything.

I'm considering buying some more air but its really hard to justify that deicision with no contact from the team whatsoever. Price seems to drop daily also. Gonna be hard for the team to recover from this considering bitcointalk is currently the only face aircoin has and the dev's have up and dissapeared.

there's a line missing from the .conf in the OP if you want to run the linux daemon
add:
daemon=1
to Thebotcoin.conf or else terminal will look frozen and you'll have to run another instance of terminal to do anything with the wallet. Maybe Dev could update that?
