I guess it was a pump and dump after all.  I was a little surprised as I'm used to P&Ds happening over a shorter period of time, but this stretched out over a month.  I did know something weird was going on as all the trading activity was happening at Kucoin only.  It sure seemed suspicious that it also happened during the fallout from the hack as well.  Prices going up during a security breech was suspicious as hell.  If I wanted to play conspiracy theorist, I would say that whoever was behind the hack was also behind the pump.  Ah well, welcome to the crypto world.

With that said, I don't think the prices will dip much further.  The prices are nearing pre-pump levels, so it's unlikely to go much further down unless some bagholders just want out.  A rebound will happen sooner or later, but the exchanges will first need to re-enable deposit/withdrawals for this to happen (HitBTC is still offline for example).  Hopefully the fallout from the hack gets resolved soon.

For anyone holding, it might be a good idea to sign up for the child chain that's coming and be prepared to sit on KICK until everything blows over.

Kick hasn't mooned just because we're in a bear market, in a bull/normal market I don't see why it can go up will all this news, tokens burn, more ICOs, accepted as a payment method by a merchant etc...

Haha, Yes, i have actually used waves as a stable coin last few weeks. I think it will stay in this range for a while now, so it make sense to use it instead of tether, hopefully it will increase a few percentage in the coming months compared to tether at least.

@Turing, you are a great help to waves community, i hope they compensate you somehow for keeping this community active. You always try to answer critiqs and stay positiv instead of ignoring difficult posts or calling them FUD. Keep up the good work!

It is a slow and painful way but finally we see some progress... on the other hand, during ICO the price of ETH was way lower, so we would still have more $ if we kept our ETH instead of investing to the KICK. We have to keep holding i guess

and now the KICK price is up 124% to $0.17 now we hold our KICK coins up through the $ 1 mark if it has already reached $ 1, in a few months there is a possibility KICK price to reach some USD. hopefully dev soon adds a big exchange for KICK to make it easier to up

I added 50% to my Waves holdings as well when it broke above $7.

The fact that the new Waves NG could easily handle multiple crypto kitties without even caring about the additional transactions should make it pretty clear that this is the place to be right now.
