Re: Things you should know before investing in bitcoin
by

Investing is a Risk in all aspects because this means that your money has a potential to Grow or to Lose. But in the case of investing in Bitcoin, it was quite different. You can't just risk, but you need study as the potential growth and loss of money is so fast that it can happen in just mins or hours. You will need to make extra effort and time to study to convert your "risk" to a "Calculated risk". If you know the difference.

Re: Government fears Bitcoin
by

Government/banks hold control to our financial cash flow ever since. Then bitcoin was created, spread and is now becoming more popular. Why doesn't Government want it? It is because bitcoin promotes equal distribution of wealth-creating-opportunity, while Government and banks hold control to it. On the other hand, there are good points on their view as well as to why they are not yet ready for bitcoin and crypto-currency. It is because of it being decentralized. Criminalities, human trafficking, and other forms of crimes involving a huge amount of money are going to be freely-operated with the use of decentralized blockchain technology and there's no way we will be able to know WHO's behind it..

Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ?
by

on 17/04/2018, 21:05:07 UTC
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.

Absolutely the main reason why some countries put a ban on it. Due to it's decentralized and "Free" nature. People are able to use it on such things that'll gonna hurt a society who will adapt to it. Imagine druglords, human traffickers and the like to be able to operate without the authority being able to find a clue how to trace them? It's really scary, isn't it?

Re: Bitcoin as money
by

They say that bitcoin is the future of money. What do you think if we use bitcoin in everyday lives as a money? Like buying foods. Or buying clothes. Do you imagine it positively or negatively?

It is possible, but not widely in the near future. It will take time. But if you'll visualize it deeply, it'll gonna be more convenient. Imagine a life without paper bills, all you just need to bring with you is a ledger wallet. Or your phone, scan the barcode to pay it, it will conserve time for people next in line to you when you are in a store. Also, when you lost your fiat, you won't be able to get it back. If you have crypto payment, there's a lot of security options you will have, like two-step verification, google authenticator, Private keys, and the like.

NOW this is an awesome Idea! I hope your team will make it to success, it's a WIN-WIN situation for both shopper & seller's convenience while being able to deliver the best of the best products (on seller's end) and having the luxury of being able to have massive choices in a one-stop -shop way for shoppers. I hope dev team will make it through on ups and downs. This will really be one of a REAL-world solution.

The website was designed with a great user-friendly interface, information provided is not exaggerated and is very simple to understand. The roadmap is just realistic enough to get anyone's buy-in and most especially, the goal of this project is one of the real solutions. Overall I'm impressed! I'll participate!

Re: Do you keep buying?

Every paycheck that I hold, there's always a portion of it that I will be added to my bitcoin investment. Though I always make target buys on averaging method so if I think it's still not a good buy, I just keep my fiat but I never go all in at a single price. Try it, it'll be less worrying even when the price goes up or down.

Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money?
by

The answer to this question depends on one's knowledge and understanding of blockchain technology behind it. And most importantly like what others say: You need to base it on your risk appetite. As simple as that.

Re: Bitcoin in College???
by

on 24/03/2018, 11:29:55 UTC
It's possible but I don't think it will be supported in Universities. Why? Simply because lots of college courses will be affected. Imagine teaching students a year on how to earn double, triple money more than someone who took a professional course with a degree and lots of titles earned after studying and spending money on Colleges for 10+ years? They won't allow that at all.

Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin?
by
CryptoKu-een
on 24/03/2018, 08:21:03 UTC
If I'm in your case, I would still buy. But the question you should be asking yourself is when to buy. Bitcoin's supply is only limited not unlike other coins which can be mined till eternity.

Your idea matches but for sure there will still be some differences. Work your own but let them introduce their project first. Since you have the blue print when the project is still an idea, compare it with and make a better version of your own which resolves problems or lapses that the other has. Smiley

Just a question, from what I read and know of, KYC's are just present on ICO's right? I have seen some coins that are already asking for KYC while just on the airdrop and bounty stage and scheduled for pre-sale(not yet started). I am just confused, something's not right about that or it's the new thing being implemented? The projects look so cool though.

This forum has an option for doing bounty.but as a newbie don't join any bounty now.first, try to know about this forum. besides you can join here bountyhive.io this site is good for bounty hunter.you can work here and can get some altcoin doing bounty campaign.
This forum is not for only bounty campaign If you come here only for doing bounty work you would be the permaban.

Hi thanks for the bountyhive.io website, it's very useful! I just wanted to ask since like what others said that newbie should start on airdrop. Can you recommend websites that offer a list of airdrop coins? I'm sorry to bother you and thank you so much!

Re: What cryptocurrency are you currently buying during a dip?
by
CryptoKu-een
on 21/03/2018, 06:54:29 UTC
The safest to buy is the one who stands out among others and will continue to do so, Bitcoin. Though if you're expecting to gain like double your capital, altcoins will be the best ones but higher risk. First things first, you need to invest in knowledge and do a lot of research. That will save your ass from potentially losing all your money with the thought that it can be doubled overnight.

Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever?
by

It still counts right? Cause the bitcoin still do exist and was owned by someone even if he/she dies, the bitcoin is still counted among those bitcoins in circulation?

It was a prediction and is based solely on bitcoin performance. How about other coins performance? Do you really believe that bitcoin is the single one going to rule the crypto world? 2020 is 2 years ahead and before that time comes, I firmly believe that there's a lot going to happen that could turn the table.

In my opinion, they won't be able to track your income unless declared. Cause if Bitcoin is a system that can be tracked by centralized authorities like banks and government, where's the sense of it being decentralized.
