Hahah I see not only is this a rip off of DeepOnion, but now Crypto.Vokain, his wife and daughter are all involved here. Good luck to those of you stupid enough to not realise this is a Crypto.Vokain scam. Enjoy!!! Tongue

You know what is really sad:

How vindictive and petty the DeepOnion mods/devs are.    They are now deleting positive posts I made in the DO ANN thread from months ago.

I still hold and support DO,  but they are sure doing their best to drive everyone away.

Totally agree with you, strange they go through all the old threads and posts and delete them. Crazy people, doing their best to kill what was a good project.

Re: How much more fall is possible ?

I think BTC will fall more. But we wont see $2000 like some people are talking about. Bitcoin will remain the number one bluechip crypto investment for many years to come. So much news about it and its on everyones lips when they mention cryptocurrency. Surely it will bounce back. I still believe its worth $20k long term. Money will just flow in and out of bitcoin for many years to come. Im hoping to buy more soon.

Depending on where you are and how badly they want to get you they probably can find your crypto. Think USA, China, Russia they can get you if your a high enough value target. If your in Kenya, you will be safe. Sure there are ways to hide a little, but if they want you you can be found.

Re: why do people agree to pay taxes?
by

Although not a fan of taxes, I do understand how they work and what they fund. The secret is low taxes and easy to understand taxation system. However, I do not like a benefit state, where people do nothing and the government pays for their home, food and clothing. I believe it should only be used to support the minority in true financial strife.

Re: $11k - when do you sell
by

Well selling at $11k would have been good and buying back in now, but with crypto you never know whats going to happen next. No crystal balls in this business. I think crypto will stay depressed for the rest of the year whilst it irons itself out. But be ready for the next bull run, it will surely come at some point.

Dear OP, sorry to hear of your job loss and the issues surrounding it. I know what its like to lose my job having been through something similar recently. I hope you have built up a nice portfolio of skills which will be in need with another position. In the meantime you can use your skills and knowledge of crypto to make some sound investments and hopefully profit too. Good luck and let us know how you go.

Re: Dogecoin is the new Bitcoin

Personally I have a soft spot for good old Doge. Created as a joke, fun to look at and huge support even now. Doge is a serious coin, sure its not developing much but its a genuine crypto and one that is pretty reliable. I hope it stays around forever. Will it even reach the heights of BTC prices - no way, but this is crypto and anything can happen here. Don't blame me if Doge goes to $20k USd and you don't have some stashed.

Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market?
by
CryptoKyddie
on 20/06/2018, 23:22:27 UTC
Sure there are elements of stupidity in the markets. Especially knee jerk reactions to things like FUD and fake news. Additionally, we have big whales and banks manipulating the markets for sure, its how they make their money right. I can imagine many of the big banks are behind lots of this fake news and FUD. Of course the little investor is scared when they see dumping, the whales and banks feed off this mentality.

Re: China tells people to buy gold & silver
by

on 20/06/2018, 19:30:31 UTC
I would hazard a guess they are promoting gold and silver, because more demand means higher prices. And guess who has huge reserves of both gold and silver? Yes China. So quick way to get extra budget. Also helps draw peoples attention from crypto, just what the government wants for now. But hey h\who knows what the governemt will want in the future. Lucky for me I already have some gold.

Decentralised currencies like crypto have a great future. I still remember when banks were respected and had the best in interests of their customers at heart. But this has changed and is no all about profits, shareholder wealth, beating regulations. Banks were responsible for the 2008 crash due to their irresponsible lending techniques. Crypto is the way to go.

Whilst 1.5k USd is not a huge amount you can certainly use it wisely. Your strategy really depends on your apetite for risk. Sure you can probably double your money with some shady ICO, or you can get small gains with bank deposits. Personally I would invest it all in crypto or shares. Invest in the best most well regarded ones you can, hopefully on some dip. What goes down, often goes back up.

Re: why is Africa not fighting cyber- fraud?

I know what you mean guys. But these are pretty corrupt places and I am sure the government and police have their fingers in many pies and scam. Just be careful. After all regulation is good, but too much will hurt crypto in particular. Already KYC regs are annoying to most of us. I guess a balance is required.

Re: Why do people go into prostitution?
by
CryptoKyddie
on 14/06/2018, 19:13:28 UTC
Mostly because they need money really badly. I guess a minority do it because of trauma suffered and some because they are addicted to sex. But mostly its a simple financial decision - need money badly for drugs, family etc. Some are trafficked too and forced into it.

Re: bitcoin or ripple ?
by

Ripple are backed by banks so don't let them have the control on this new system. Don't forget the reason why we support blockchain in the first place so sell those XRP and let's all buy bitcoins.

I agree! Sell Ripple

Re: bitcoin or ripple ?
by

on 05/03/2018, 02:59:35 UTC
All depends. Sure Ripple has legs to go further, but surely its not a real crypto as it works with the banks, not replacing them. Sure I see Bitcoin can easily go up 100% or more in 2018. Easy to double your money, or day trade for real swing gains. How about have a look at some privacy coins like DeepOnion and Zoin. Surely these could bring in more % growth. Or check out Neo for maybe 200%+ increase in 2018.

Re: Top Privacy Coin of 2018?
by
CryptoKyddie
on 28/02/2018, 22:03:15 UTC
Which privacy coin do you think will out last the rest in 2018? And why?

Monero (XMR)

ZCash (ZEC)

Navcoin (NAV)

PIVX (PIVX)

DeepOnion (ONION)

Verge (XVG)

Spectrecoin (XSPEC)

Sumokoin (SUMO)

Pretty good list there Thrasher. I started with Monero as its was fairly well known and made some money off it. Then as I learnt more, I hungered for a better project. I stumbled upon DeepOnion as I have always been a keen supporter of the Tor project. I checked out the whitepaper and saw how DeepOnion is fixing serious, real world problems. Many people face internet censorship in their countries and with Meek and OBFS4, DeepOnion will still work for them and help them remain anonymous. Soon stealth addreseses will arrive and take the project to another level.
