WOW yesterday I got hit with the Oreo trojan and
now this. Can any tech people tell me if my btc wallet (password encrypted)
and Litecoin wallet (non-encrypted password) is safe after I did this:
Clicked oreo wallet (virus,trojan, whatever dark core rat)
10 minutes later found out about virus. Did 6 virus scans and not much helped,
so.
Reformatted SSD.
Recovered image from a week ago Acronis.
Changed my firefox passwords for banks and stuff (just in case)
Everything seems fine, is it? Should I do anything else? I assume
since I have a pre-image of my whole partion ssd before oreo I am good,
but people say they can still get your wallets??

Send all your Cryptocurrencies to paper wallets I'd say, just to be on the safe side! Paper has no internet..

Re: [ANN][FlappyCoin][FLP] FlappyCoin launching this weekend! (The ORIGINAL ONE)
by

An update from us.

Because of this whole unfortunate situation with 'the fakes', we have been discussing the following options:

1. Release coin today as planned with FlappyBird name and see what happens. It is however unlikely many people would support our coin and it would create a massive confusion in the already confused crypto world.
2. Release the coin renamed to something similar (for instance FlappyBirdCoin). We would make ourselves 'copycats' this way though, it might be hard to get sensible support at this point.
3. Rebrand the coin and release something completely unique. This would kind of invalidate our work so far, but it is probably is the best plan if we want to be taken seriously and make something fresh in the community.

So we made a painful decision to hold the release and rebrand our coin completely. We are STILL IN THE GAME and actually plan to deliver something really fabulous. We are not going to rush the coin and got plenty of ideas.

We are not going to disclose anything more at this point (you all know how it ends...), but I can assure you that the upcoming release from our (now former) 'FlappyCoin team' will be BIG.

Many thanks to all of you who continuously support us and to those who provide us with some constructive criticism Smiley

Deposited some CGA - Traded around 50% of it, however my current balance is 0CGA - Checked my trade history, it doesn't add up (lots of coins missing) Also checked my active trades and there is nothing there. It seems my coins have 'vanished' - Emailed about 5 hours ago but no reply Sad The exchange rate for this coin has since gone down so I have lots quite a bit here!

After closing the compiled Windows-QT it crashes and I get runtime error 'The application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way'

Checking Eventviewer on the crash I can see mini-crashes:

The Open Procedure for service "MSDTC" in DLL "C:\Windows\system32\msdtcuiu.DLL" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.

The Open Procedure for service "Lsa" in DLL "C:\Windows\System32\Secur32.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.

The Open Procedure for service "ESENT" in DLL "C:\Windows\system32\esentprf.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.

The Open Procedure for service "BITS" in DLL "C:\Windows\System32\bitsperf.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.

Any ideas? I've been scratching my head for about 10 hours now Sad

I just submitted a manual payout request, I guess we shall see.

If your pool wallet is 0, it will queue up payments indefinitely.

Chances are, he emptied the wallet.

I am always one to Google/Search forums until I find the answer, but after 10 hours of trying, I have come to the forums to get an answer.

I am modifying the new Litecoin script (for educational reasons) here: https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin

For the life of me, I am unable to generate a genesis block, I keep getting:

Code:
main.cpp:2796: bool InitBlockIndex(): Assertion `hash == hashGenesisBlock' failed.

I check my debug.log file and get:

Code:

Which doesn't give me:

block.nTime = X
block.nNonce = X
block.GetHash = X

As mentioned https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=189350.msg2035449#msg2035449 and many other forums I have visited in the past 10hrs

I am inserting the hashMerkleRoot, block.nTime and block.nBits in correctly (after generating the hashMerkleRoot from debug.log) but after I try to run the daemon (or testnet) I am getting that same error.

Any ideas?

Seems that we're seeing valid shares now since tweaking the pool

Let's get some hash power into it and see if we can pick up some blocks

http://speedminers.com/pingas

i still think you need to up the share difficulty. my rig is chewing through multiple shares a second increasing bandwidth on your end.

Changed to 96, let's see how we go with that..

great. also don't forget to change on the getting started page, change the DL link to the correct miner and not cgminer.

'Getting Started' updated..
