Congrats on breaking even!  Smiley

Just to clarify... when you say you've got your investment back...

Are you talking about BTC or USD?

Hello,

Finally reached breakeven after 128 days ( to be compared to the 84 days forecasted at the beginning )

Currently because of the BTC price, fees are representing about 60%-70% of my incomes.
With the current BTC price & difficulty, i can expect to make about 0.47 BTC ( that s far from the initial forecast which was around 3 or 4 BTC )
In anyway that can only be better as i would expect the BTC price not to go lower.

In 01:16 of the video you're referring to... it says, 85% of mining operations.
Page 8 of WP (5th paragraph), says 85%

Then on the ICO website, it says 25% reinvested (so 75% released)
and in WP page 4 (3rd paragraph) its 75%
WP page 5 also says its 75%

So which one is the correct? 75% or 85%?  Smiley

Thanks

Hi ambitico

Why the calculator on your website, assumes you're distributing 75% of revenues (25% reinvest & 75% released)
While in the white page it says its 85% of the revenues?

Keep in mind that 85% of the supply is available in the ICO.

Also (somewhat?) unrelated here is an Ambit explainer video https://youtu.be/B4OQLF5Zvas

I know the calculations on your website are just examples, and not promising any real revenues ..etc

But would it be hard to add the "difficulty" factor to the "Charts of Return" ?

Or was the difficulty factor taken in consideration already??
(I don't know ... I'm asking)

Because showing 'potential' revenues for 5 years using today's difficulty factor is inaccurate (even if the target is to merely illustrate potential).

I would appreciate it if you at least 'assume' 2% increase in difficulties every 2 weeks...
Rather than assuming its the same for 5 years  Cheesy

All in all, it looks like a VERY promising ICO...
Will keep an eye on it.

Re: Power Supply for 100 Antminer S9 in UK How to with 3 phase supply?

Thanks for this list... I hope your project went well... did you actually do it ?
(just curious  Shocked)

Also... do you know the requirements for cooling the facility where you host the miners?

Any recommendations if you're having 100 S9 Antminers?
I mean would 3 Phase do it? or must upgrade to something else?

Good luck with your project  Smiley

So it seems like it is easily possible to have 50 Antminer S9 in the UK as long as the building has 3 phase power supply, cost of setting it all up is around £5k from a qualified electrician and you will also need extractor fitted for heat to leave the building and louvre for air to come in which is another £5k.

So to run 50 Antminer S9, here is a simple process! It is definitely not as complicated as people have made it out to be!!

You will need:

1) Order 50 x Antminer S9
2) Order 50 x PSU
3) Rent an Industrial Unit with 3 phase supply
4) Order Shelves to house the miners (you don't need anything fancy or expensive believe me!)
5) Get an Electrician to install sockets / upgrade Fuseboard
6) Get an electrician to fit extractor and louvre
7) Wait for your Machines
Cool Plug them in and setup
9) Wait for them to mine
10) Enjoy!

It might be cheaper to have multiple units than paying to get supply head upgraded.

Unless you can get an old factory for quite a cheap rent that has high supply already in place.

no mining company is legit, period.
you better try and find some other jobs like trading and signature campaign or better yet buy bitcoin and hold to sell for profit when price goes up other wise don't waste your money on any cloud mining service.

This must be one of the BEST advices in the forum!  Grin

I mean, literary proven by FACTS... if anyone read this 1st comment (after OP)...
and decided to purchase BTC in 08/2016 ... look how much you would make through 2017 till now...

Kudos for the right prediction Sir!  Smiley
