I tried to send some SC to my Desktop wallet. It seems like it is stuck?

Code:
root@aeonminerone:~/Sia_v0.4.2-beta_linux_amd64# ./siac wallet send siacoins 3600SC 5dfa9f1c7ccca11115bb3e9ad3bae7c1a4e5e6a95557093e8095210c2a05d3da0d8c054e3b04

Code:
root@aeonminerone:~/Sia_v0.4.2-beta_linux_amd64# ./siac wallet status
Wallet status:
Encrypted, Unlocked
Confirmed Balance:   3719.10 SC
Unconfirmed Delta:  -3610.00 SC
Exact:               3719098285720000000000000000 H
Siafunds:            0 SF
Siafund Claims:      0 SC
root@aeonminerone:~/Sia_v0.4.2-beta_linux_amd64#

Did I do something wrong? How do I get my funds?

Looks like the transfer just didn't confirm. Note with the current low hash rates, blocks are mined very slow, about 1 every few hours. So, it might take that long, or longer, for your transaction to confirm.

If you don't have both nodes running all the time then you need to wait for a block confirmation before the balance shows up. I suspect you just didn't give it enough time, block rate is really slow right now because miners keep coin-hopping.

OK, but the wallet I created and sent those funds to disappeared from my desktop client. The whole client looks as though everything disappeared, and and the wallet is re-syncing from the beginning. So it looks like my funds are gone. Is there a way to retrieve this?

Now I open my Sia Wallet on my laptop, and the address I created and tried to send is gone.

Did I lose my SC? Did I send to a black hole? That kinda sucks....

I tried to make a transaction this morning, and it seem to be "stuck". No date is displayed for the transaction, and it never reached it's destination.

Could someone point me to the source of the CPU minerd that supports this algo, so I may compile it for linux?

For the life of me I cannot seem to find one. I could have sworn that I had found one before.

I think you will only find win64 binaries, an alternative you could look into is minerpp: https://github.com/john-connor/minerpp

Also, keep in mind that CPU only mining will not yeld much reward as you will be competiting with GPU and FPGA.

I understand that CPU mining is slow, but I have a few VPS's I may as well point to a pool.

So there is no source code from which the 64bit binaries were compiled from?

Miners can be found here:

https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/166/mining-tools

OK. I know of every link given to me. What I am looking for is, the minerd/cpuminer source code that supports whirlpoolx. Not a binary. Source code. Source code so I can compile a binary. A binary for linux. I would like to compile one. Does this type of source code exist?

Were you able to compile minerpp and run the CPU mining example in the readme?

https://github.com/john-connor/minerpp

Sorry, my misunderstanding

Rufus put a link to his sourcecode here:

https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/68/optimized-win64-cpuminer/23 but I don't know if it works for linux

That source is corrupted by Windows lol. I will try minerpp in a bit. I'm familiar with cpuminer so I was trying to roll with that. Meanwhile, I'm asking Wolf on IRC if he knows what I am looking for exists. I swear that I had it on a server months back....

By the way URL in your signature is a little bit wrong

Quote
My XDN Address: xdn.io/digitalname/CryptoMira

DigitalNote wallet reads this one: xdn.io/name/CryptoMira

Awesome, Thanks!

Ok one more question....

I wiped my computer, and installed Arch last night. I uploaded my digitalnotewallet.wallet to Google Drive. This morning I downloaded that file, and tried to open it, but it is stuck at block 200 while trying to sync.

Do I have to let the wallet fully sync before I open the .wallet file that I uploaded as a backup?
I let the wallet completely sync, then imported. Everything looks good now.

Also you can edit your DigitalName and add Bitcoin address.
How do I do this? I didn't see where.

BTW, I made a package for Arch Linux if you want to upload it with the Debian/Ubuntu version. Just let me know.

All the aliases that I created on xdn,io, I pointed at the same XDM Address, If the ok? About 4 total I created in that manor.

Also, can I add a bitcoin address to an existing Alias? Or is that something than can only be done during creation?

Yes, you can point all XDN.IO digitalnames to the same XDN address. Also you can edit your DigitalName and add Bitcoin address.
At this point we are working on core updates, so now only DigitalNote wallet is compartible with XDN.IO.
But we will try to add XDN.IO and DigitalName support in major Bitcoin clients, like Electrum.

XDN is shaping up to be one awesome project. I'm very excited. I've only mined around 35,000 XDN thus far, but I will continue to get what I can on the hardware I have.

EXCELLENT WORK DEV!!!!
