"SYSCOIN AIR DROP DETAILS
On June 1, 2018 a snapshot of all Syscoin wallet addresses linked to Syscoin aliases will be taken and 6% of the total CPS Coin supply will be distributed to each of these addresses, proportionate to the balance of Syscoin held at the time of the snapshot."

From the above as quoted from the OP, does the airdrop includes the Syscoin kept in the Coinpayments site? Do we benefit from keeping our Syscoin on your site, that's what I am asking.

The airdrop to Syscoin holders will only count for people holding Syscoin in their Syscoin Alias. Find out how to create an Alias here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P37BFNfDUE

On June 1, 2018 there will be a snapshot of all balances held in Syscoin Aliases and that's who will receive the airdropped CPS Coin.

For the Syscoin airdrop on June 1, 2018, it does not matter how much Syscoin you keep at CoinPayments, desktop wallets or exchanges...it ONLY matters how much Syscoin is kept in your Syscoin Alias.

Hope that helps and I hope I said that in enough different ways to make it clear  Wink

Re: CoinPayments -Wallet Service, Payment Gateway

It's pretty easy to setup the payment gateway if you're using one of the common ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Woocommerce or Magento.

I would suggest going that route first before getting deep into the APIs, too much potential for making mistakes.

Also, once you have everything setup make sure you test everything using their Litecoin Testnet (LTCT). You can request this coin with no value for free for testing purposes to see when payments come through and how they are logged/reported.

Good luck!

If I deposit SYSCOIN to my CoinPayments account, does that qualify as having a Syscoin wallet address linked to a Syscoin alias?

Also, if I have SYSCOIN on my Binance account, will I receive CPS?

No, you will need to store your SYS in an Alias address within the Syscoin Blockmarket app. See the tutorial on creating an Alias here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P37BFNfDUE

Also, you can join the CPS Coin Telegram group here: https://t.me/joinchat/GN4bDVMQLNbcwkY949Jnrg and ask specific questions there as there are a lot of Syscoin devs that are actively answering questions.

Hope that helps!

It's really annoying to hear people jump straight to SCAM and THEFT accusations before exploring all the possibilities. A lot of crypto companies face this kind of reputation tarnishing from crypto noobs that don't understand that coins are lost if they send BTC to an ETH address or that they can't get a refund after sending a transaction.

As far as CoinPayments goes, they have been around since 2013 and have always been fully transparent about things. Some of you mentioned the Ripple incident. Yes, it was unfortunate but CoinPayments fully repaid ALL stolen Ripple. See their official CoinPayments Ripple Theft statement. This should be undeniable proof that CoinPayments takes these things seriously and takes responsibility for their mistakes.

Anyway, I've had a CoinPayments account for 2 years and never had a problem. Only had to contact support once and they fixed the issue within 24hrs. I suggest you wait for a reply from their support as I'm sure they can get to the bottom of your predicament.

Happy to hear CoinPayments has solidified their reputation as trustworthy by repaying all users! On a side note, BOO Ripple. The XRP token isn't even used in the very centralized Ripple network, so how does it even have value?

Sorry to hear what happened to you, but you don't mention any details about what your business was or used to do...leads me to believe it wasn't on the up and up. Don't you think if you tried to run that kind of business with anyone, they would suspend your service or worse?

I've been using CoinPayments for a year now and it works great. I did have some learning curve issues at the beginning but that was more about learning crypto transactions than issues specific to CoinPayments.

Anyway, I highly recommend using them as a payment processor. Makes life easy and they have low fees.

Long time CoinPayments user here. You guys are doing great things for the advancement of crypto! Too bad a lot of the crypto noobs think that you're responsible if they send BTC to an ETH address or if they send crypto to the wrong address and expect you to get a refund for them.

No refunds in crypto all you noobs!

You are in charge of your own funds so make sure you triple check the details of your transaction!

If the network fee is higher than the amount you're sending, what's the point!

OK, venting over.

Keep up the great work CoinPayments!
