one of the main idea behind crypto is decentralization . and if one company or even two control the mining , then that basic principle is destroyed
what i like about monero is that it can be mined using GPU , CPU . so AMD and Nividia cant control it .

i will quit buying or trading on Monero if they went to ASIC .

How do 1 or 2 companies own mining exactly?  Using your argument you could say that Nvidia and AMD control all of GPU mining.  Producing products to mine does not equal centralization.

Producing products to mine doesn't equal centralization. The road to centralization starts with the large capital investment that's required when ASICs enter the picture. We've all seen this play out before.

Personally, I'm going to support projects that actually back up their words with actions. We don't have to roll over and just take this shit.

Hi Guys,

Congratulations on launching! How do we report bugs that we find during the beta?

Thanks

I used the bug report option in the support section of the site.

I missed that. Thank you!

Sorry - GPU mining is dying off. Let's accept it and move on...

... and, unfortunately, all those who bought GPUs as a hedge because "you can always resell them to gamers if the market goes to shit" will flood the market beyond saturation for gaming.

It seems to be more profitable for the mining manufacturers to add new algos than faster BTC miners.

The Monero project isn't accepting it. The new IPBC coin isn't either. I really hope the other CN coins get on board. The software side of this equation doesn't have to accept it, it just has to have the will to fight.

Remember guys, the main proposal of cryptos in general is Decentralization

Asics and big farms are total against Decentralization, we are losing focus here, we can say NO to every Asic and DO NOT BUY these craps

Totally agree!!! Plus, just about EVERY cryptonote coin has used "anti ASIC" or "ASIC resistant" as one of their selling points. It's time for every one of these projects to live up to that promise and support the CPU/GPU miners that have built them up.

Have you put the cards on different risers to see if that changes anything? Are your overclock settings consistent for all of the cards? Run GPU-Z and check that the RAM manufacturer in those two cards is the same as the others. Good luck!

So happy to see this thing dead on arrival.. XMR + IPBC switching algos, with hopefully other CN coins to follow. Fuck you, baikal.  Smiley

Has any other CN coin announced support for the switch yet? Sumo and ETN, for example.

For your CPU, I'm not 100 percent sure, but I don't think that the AMD Phenom II X6 1100T CPU has AES hardware instructions. Without hardware AES, CPU mining ANY cryptonote coin (like ETN) will be very inefficient. I don't know their current profitability, but check into mining Magi (XMG) or Zcoin (XZC) with your CPU. I don't think those algorithms use AES.

Has anyone received a reply from cryptopia about the deposit issues? I just opened a ticket and haven't heard anything yet. I guess I've been lucky with cryptopia. This is the first problem I've had with them.

I am getting 15.7mh/s on each card with power limit set to 70% of 75tdp.
cards are running 24/7 without a crash. I am using onboard graphics for display though.

memclock +1000
core clock +0

no voltage changes.

using claymore eth miner.

I wonder if it's safe to run it at +1000 memclock.

GPU0 t=46C fan=35%, GPU1 t=54C fan=51%, GPU2 t=64C fan=50%

i am mining pirl.

Are you using SimpleMining OS for your rig and are you using claymore miner? My 1050 TIs are only getting about 13.38 I'll use your settings and test

no simplemining OS. just Claymore 10.3 on windows 10. I get 12.5 without the MSI afterburner OC. With oc settings, the hashrates are increased to ~15.7 without a crash. Ran them for days.

Damn, that is good, I might have to move to Windows 10. I just set up my mining rig using Simple Mining OS

Those are really good numbers, but as another poster stated, check your reject rates. On my 1050ti's, I get about 14.2mh using ethminer. With Claymore, I get slightly less hash rate and many more rejects.

Re: GTX 1060 getting only 15 MH/s on Ethereum?!?

Hello everyone,
I have been running Dual claymore ( v.10.0) miner for 1 day now and I don't know why I'm getting only 15 M hashes (as far as I know I should be getting something like 22 M hashesh/s on this card). I have the 3 GB version of this card, any ideas how can I fix this?

Thank you for your answers Smiley!

As everyone else has mentioned, you need to overclock your card. Also, if you are dual mining with Claymore, try just mining Eth is see what your hash rate is then. I don't use Claymore these days, but I remember that dual mining was more profitable on AMD cards than Nvidia. Maybe a current claymore NVidia user can way weight in on this.

Can you give us a little more detail on where you are at with a livecoin listing?

Thanks

Yes, I can!
We have been talking to them for the last few weeks, and they have confirmed that they have no issues with listing IPBC.
So, Livecoin should list us within the next week or so.

Cool. Thank you!
