I built my Bot myself for many reasons, mainly for a versatility to adapt it to my strategies and needs. I have no direct experience with other online bots or other open sources you mentioned.

I worked many days, occasionally for a few hours in my spare time after work. Today I am operating live with real money after having tested it on testnet for many days.

The most complex part is certainly the construction of the bot, if you have computer skills it is certainly a complex but not impossible job. There are 1000 situations that you must foresee in order not to find your bill at ZERO, but it is a job that I have done with pleasure since it is my passion. If you opt for something ready you will have to adapt to what they offer you, therefore I preferred to do it myself starting from scratch so as to have no development limit.

It is possible to lose everything, and it can happen for a thousand reasons, both in terms of strategy and techniques.

How much profit you can expect essentially depends on the strategy. You will hardly find the winning strategies publicly, you will have to develop it with your trading ideas. A strategy to work must be functional in the long term, in various market phases (uptrend, downtrend, lateral), and you have to calculate it net of the fees that will steal most of your earnings. I personally have two strategies, one more "reliable" in the long term, and one more push.
A backtest is fundamental, the longer the test period the more reliable the future result is, but it has no certainty that what has gone well in the past will go well in the future.

The choice of the pair and the currency (you speak of USD) is a personal choice and certainly also affects the results. I have chosen to accumulate BTC, therefore my strategy is centered on the accumulation of BTC.

My advice is to develop your idea of ​​automatic tradin in stages:
- which strategy I want to apply
- strategy backtest (has it worked in the past?)
- preparation and execution of the bot under test
- live with small sums
- live

I'm currently around 7/10% monthly on the "less risky" strategy and around 35% monthly on the "very risky" strategy, but I repeat, it has been a rather long and complex job in every respect.

If you think you can find a website or ready-made software where you put money, click and make money, I wouldn't want to disappoint you but I think it's really very difficult.

Ma ci si lamenta della manipolazione e ci si affida a banchieri che hanno creato una crisi planetaria, la stessa da cui nasce BTC proprio per proteggersi da questi babbei. Bakkt fa parte della stessa "famiglia" di speculatori, gli stessi che con i Credit default swap crearono un macigno che stiamo pagando ancora oggi.

E noi cosa facciamo? Ci affidiamo a loro per diffondere BTC.

Attenzione, non sto dicendo che sarà così, sto solo ipotizzando un eventuale divieto come può avvenire. Non puoi fermare la blockchain, ma ciò non vuol dire che Bitcoin non può essere vietato.
Anche la produzione di droga non può essere fermata totalmente, ma non vuol dire non è vietata. Sono esempi estremi certo, ma esistono.

Io non parlerei mai di "investire in sicurezza", un investimento non è mai sicuro. Entrando nel dettaglio, oro e immobili hanno a loro volta rischi, e in passato più volte chi ha investito in questi beni ci ha perduto una valanga di danaro.

La grande recessione nel 2007 è stata innescata da una crisi del mercato immobiliare; chi investì in immobili si ritrovò a pagare un mutuo più alto del valore dell'immobile, il resto è storia.

L'oro, proprio per via dell'ultima grande crisi, iniziò la corsa che lo portò dai $700 fino a punte di $1800, qualche anno dopo ce lo ritrovammo ai minimi intorno ai $1000.

Se guardate il grafico dell'oro dal 2001 ad oggi, è quanto di più simile al grafico di Bitcoin, e di certo Bitcoin non possiamo definirlo un investimento sicuro data la sua volatilità.

Morale della favola, non esistono a mio avviso investimenti sicuri.

Non mi pare si possa depositare con PayPal, si può soltanto prelevare, almeno a me non da possibilità di deposito con paypal.

In merito alla possibilità che la banca blocchi i fondi se derivati da trading, ho forti dubbi. Più probabile che blocchi l'uscita di capitali, non l'ingresso.
Per esperienza diretta ho usato Kraken,CoinBase Pro verso IngDirect all'incasso FIAT tante volte e non ho mai avuto problemi.

Mi è nuova, nel senso che se non fosse stato da te postato MAI avrei letto ciò, per il semplice fatto che uso ING da anni e ho fato e ricevuto decine di bonifici vs Kraken senza mai nessun problema. A questo punto credo che siano altri i fattori in gioco, come l'antiriciclaggio a questo punto.

Ormai ce ne sono centinaia di banche online. Danno problemi e pongono limiti? Si cambia banca!

Io personalmente ho usato e uso Ing Direct solo per le crypto, e ad oggi mai nessun problema.

E io pensavo che si parlasse di hype riferito a bitcoin 
Comunque davvero tanti problemini con questo hype
