Nice Concept, the question is, why would you like to wait for 6 months to launch your own blockchain?

You may outsource the development part to us, we can support you with Coin development and various wallets, nodes and block explorer for you.

Do let us know if we could be of help.

So, finally you are out with a block explorer that makes more sense and updated the GIT Hub, will try to compile and revert back.

Good to know.

Hi,
I have 5 Ubuntu VPS lying unused (were purchased for long term, now not being used). Could anyone suggest a masternode coin that the community may deem safe and with low investment and being profitable?

Re: GTX 1060 3GB - Poor Performance with hynix memory
by

The worst part is that I ended up buying Zotac 3GB mini 1060's, the worst cards to have. I was told upfront that they carry a 5 year warranty, however 3 out of 10 died within 1 1/2 month of buying and upon visiting the service center, I got to know that the warranty is only 2 years unless I register within 28 days of purchase.

It was not mentioned anywhere on the package or inside the box.

I tried mailing Zotac support telling them about the issue and requesting for validating the extended warranty, however got a very rude response.

On the other hand my 480's are working like charm day and night since last 6 months.

I don't know how many times, I would need to replace the cards within 2 years (resulting in downtime) and if I could ever be able to use them after 2 years.

Would never buy any Zotac card in future and am sharing my experience hoping I might end up saving someone's money.

Many people have agreed that hynix memory cards could not be overclocked much, however in Zotac's case, you can't even expect a +100, the miner dies.

What rules are you referring to? No one is breaking any rule or law or anything really. This thread is a bad assumption about things 99.9% of the users here know zilch about.

Not talking about legality here, just the rules of game called ethereum mining.

GTX 1060 3GB - Poor Performance with hynix memory
by
CryptoSocial
on 20/08/2017, 10:04:10 UTC
Hi,
After tired of looking for solutions since last 2 1/2 months, I am requesting support from community.

I brought 10 Zotac GTX 1060 3 GB mini's in June 2017.

Out of 10, 3 had Samsung memory and are doing great with 18 MH/s on stock and over 23 at +100/+850 with claymore 9.8.

The remaining 7 cards are Hynix and are performing poorly at around 14 MH/s and would crash upon attempts to overclock.

Could there be a possibility of getting better performance out of Hynix memory cards as well?

That is cruel and unfair to people following the rules. Anyways, as far as crypto world is concerned, the expectation of anything fair is itself unfair Wink

Hi,
The question that's giving me goosebumps and sleepless night is how is this guy managing to get 26 GH/s with a single worker?

https://ethermine.org/miners/3509f7bd9557f8a9b793759b3e3bfa2cd505ae31

and this one 29 GH/s

https://ethermine.org/miners/558d2e1a5786848dfc24080aff7928da1c7d5c3a

The first address is one of Claymore's Ethereum dev fees addresses. So this 26GH/s is the sum of all the dev fees hashrate he get with the version(s) of Claymore's Dual Eth miner with this address set.

Oh boy!!! This claymore guy is playing in millions, time to write a mining software I believe!! Cheesy

Yes waiting for the same.

Unfortunately, Kraken was the first one to announce BCC credits to BTC balances and I moved all my BTC's from Nova and Yobit to Kraken, the coin is doing great on both Nova and Yobit, however it's insane the way it's acting on Kraken.

It's still rising everywhere else then Kraken, on Yobit it's $950 right now, I wish it rises to a point in Kraken where I could make even with the losses and convert it back to BTC.

I started noticing at at around $370 and was skeptical about buying it, however soon I saw it rising and rising and rising, it went up to $1300 on Yobit, and over $1100 on Coingeeko, this tempted me to jump into the game and buy more and more of it, till the time I ended up spending all my $ balance, my ETC balance and my BTC balance.

Ended up loosing big money today, BCC started rising like crazy, brought 37 BCC's (some @ $530 and remaining @ 0.233 BTC) on kraken.

It went all the up to $811 on kraken and now falling endlessly, $310 at the time of writing this post.

My net balance of over $23000 is down to less than half at a little over $11,000.

That 26G is interesting , since 16 June it stopped sending ETH to BTC-E .

That is because BTC-e's owner is in custody on charges of money laundering. The domain has been seized by US authorities.

I read the news somewhere, will post the link for you if I find it again.

If you check the home page, the list of top miners, there are many such miners with exactly the same hash powers.

Moreover a couple of them were found with multiple 26 GH/s workers. This makes me believe about the possibility of multiple ASIC miners.

What I am more afraid of is that somehow, someone might have manipulated ASIC to mine ethereum, as mentioned in one of the replies that it's ASIC resistance NOT ASIC proof, this would result all our GPU miners being dumped as the difficulty levels would shoot out of the roof!!

hey sorry if I'm necroing the thread, but this coin now has a github (and a new android wallet!):

http://atccoin.com/
https://github.com/atccoin2017/atccoin/

please take a look at github code. it doesn't look like anything is wrong with it.

I want to invest in it b/c of high trade volume. is this a good idea? coin is skyrocketing in value in NOVA-EXCHANGE.

might be next ETH!!!

With incomplete source code .. Hell yeah!!

Thankfully you didn't expect it to become next BTC!!

Re: What are the best replacement for RX 480 / 470s for Ether Mining?
by
CryptoSocial
on 15/07/2017, 19:41:01 UTC

Better in which way? The hashrates must be a way lower.
[/quote]

I am using stock settings, 1060s @ ~18MH/s, 480 8GB @ ~24MH/s, 480 4GB ~21MH/s

Ended up mixing 1060s and 480s to accommodate 5 cards each on four rigs 750 Watts supplies.

2 x 1060 + 3 x 480 in two rigs and 3 x 480 + 2 x 1060 in other two.

Comparing the power consumption, card cost and other factors, I would not mind losing 3 MH/s per card over 4 GB 480s for a cooler, power efficient and far more stable system.

I am using 1060 3GB Mini with single fan option.

The rigs are running cooler and better as compared to 480's
