It's a coin for the normies out there....  Cool
If this is what it takes to get everyone on the cryptobandwagon I say lets do it... Plus who knows, it may actually be profitable and viable. But also I think it has too many possible coins and we don't know anything else besides the vague description the devs have given us...

Re: Official Thread: Advanced Mining Technology (AMT)

I just ordered another one... The one which "timed-out", is still pending.

You should add a "retry", or "cancel order", for when the payment part fails to process. (I was attempting to pay, but GOX complained the address was an invalid BTC address. It was not, just had to submit it again, and it went right through on the second order.)

BTC is up to a nice high... Buy them while it costs less BTC to place the order, before they raise the price of the machines, like BFL did with the miners. (Not that they will... But I am sure they might think about it now!)

#968
1.2TH/s Coin Miner (#AMT1200)

P.S. I have a birthday coming-up on the 24th of Dec. Feel free to donate a complimentary miner as a gift. Tongue
I'm curious what a snr. member has to say about AMT... Has anyone succefully received a machine from AMT yet that is currently mining any SHA256e cryptocurrencies? Anyone?

Hi everyone!

I created a website that include almost all cryptocoin vs USD charts and naturalyl /BTC and /LTC charts.
You can set email alerts to get alert e-mails when a given coin exchange value is higher or lower than alert value, etc.
You can use for free and if you need something special, or you have an idea please contact me: contact@cryptcha.com

Does anyone have and opinion of which coins or Cryptocurrencies would be easiest to mine on a low hash laptop or small hash rate gpu? I'm just trying to get my foot in the door and wandering what currency requires the least hash and puts the least strain on your cpu/gpu? Obviously these would be scrypt currencies.... any ideas open to anything rightnow... I guess anything with the easiest diff. rate. Any new scrypt coins out there within the last weeks?    Huh     ---THX in Advance    ----CryptoTramp

Also these other AltCurrencies will always be, at least for the foreseeable future directly connected to the BTC. Much like other currencies around the world are directly connected to more widely used and stable currencies; i.e. Eastern Caribbean Dollars ($EC) are directly connected to the US$. Even as the US$ fluctuates the $EC is always a constant trading exchange of 2.7 $EC/ 1 $US. Something to think about... Cool

I don't think BTC or LTC is the most superior/dominant long-term. Yes they are high in value now because it's has received the largest amount of attention through media and it's the first cryptocurrency and investors are investing their money for example zipzap and e-commerce sites allow BTC as payment because it has been over hyped.

Why invest in developing infrastructure for bitcoin when it will become obsolete in a couple of years. I may be assuming things but I think they are just too ignorant and have not looked into other alternatives such as world coin (more coins and fast block times which means faster transaction speed) and peer coin (first coin to have mint, more coins and more energy efficient to mine) they do not understand the potential of these alt coins. When they understand about other alt coins do you think they will still stick with BTC? Also what do you think will be the cryptocurrency of the future?

Thanks in advance.
It hink they are all viable as long as people are willing to support them. Even if all BTC we valued at $2,000/ BTC that would still only be $41 billion dollars only a drop in the bucket of the global GDP of $16-17 trillion dollars/ year. Keep the faith and we will have changed the world of finance (as long as the Feds don't shut down uncentralized digital currency trading).    Just my 2 cents.  Grin    -CryptoTramp

How do I set up a BitCoin Wallet? Or how do I set up other altCurrency wallets?

I'm really new to actually acting on my desires to exercise the currencies available to me. I understand who/where/why/when but I don't understand the what and how of the basics... I wish I would have thrown my hat into the ring when I girst learned about these currencies in the late 2012, but hindsight is 20/20. The most important part is would like to learn how to set up BTC wallets and other altCurreny wallets.  If anyone(s) would like to post a quick tutorial or show me towards some useful information I would be greatly obliged. Any help is good help. Post on this thread or PM me. Thx CryptoTramp ----

You got it right, dude. Only a few coins will stand the test of the time.

I believe the more support the CC community gives to all currencies both scrypt and SHA-256e the longer they will exist and the more valuable they will become. Especially if we completely mine out an already existing currency. Plus the more exchanges that support them the better they will preform. The more money and CC we invest in the system the less of a chance they will fail and the more they will be accepted on a global scale. Who knows maybe you'll be able to buy gas a the station will an Credit card, cash and Zeta coin combination

I wouldn't spend too much time on new cryptos, but don't mind to give them a go and mine a few.

Actually I think most growth is in alt-coins although they are even more volatile I think only a few good ones will survive and potentially even replace bitcoin as they offer some important improvements (bloated blockchain, transaction confirmation time, scrypt etcetera). I mean, there were social networks before facebook...

I personally believe that it I physically and economically unfeasible without alt currencies because there are only 21 mill BTC even with 10 decimals we can do even smaller transactions in alt currencies because not everyone has dollars/ euros/ pounds to invest. Some a re investing Baht, Tanzanian Schillings and even Indonesian or Vietnamese currencies, etc. How can you want to make a transaction so close to actual high valued fiat currencies  and not want to save your fractions of pennies/ eurocents/ pence when they are valuable in otherparts of the world. BTC will be the Virtual unofficial Digital US Dollar (currencies of international trade) nd Alt currencies will become the future of microtransactions (i.e. the rest of the worlds transactions)...... Food for thought... thought I would try to improve level of talk to bump up some seniority levels.... Let me know what y'all think.
