Is there any news abaut Kucoin listing?
They did not give a particular date but I think KuCoin will list ETN within this month.That would be in the next 6 days then if all goes well. Fingers crossed.
If I recall the announcement well enough, the ETN team said that it is they who deliberately delayed the KuCoin listing until after the Chinese New Year.
So I expect the listing on KuCoin any moment from now.
KuCoin is a much needed addition.
After getting stuck with Cryptopia for months, this listing is indeed a breathe of fresh air.

The BAR Team has to be transparent and explain how the breach and theft occurred.
I don't expect them to explain right away as investigations are going on but I expect them to do so after investigations are concluded.
Sharing the knowledge of the breach and how it could have been avoided is crucial to avoid such acts happening again in the future.

After the information from the team, the right option we have is to hold the coin until their coin is listed some other exchanges. The coin price will increase only when they release mobile mining app.
Yeap , the mobile mining app is like " the coin itself".... if they will not release a working and easy to use app, this project will fail.
I am a supporter of the project, but i dont care too much about what partnership we have or in what exchange we are , if we still dont have a working app.
A working and easy to use app is the only value of this project. Because without that , there are a lot of other coin that do their job way better than electroneum coin.
And the app should be fast too, not like the actual web wallet , that is slow and not very friendly. First time i see "id" in a coin that should be EASY TO USE. Its not easy compared to other coins ...and trust me, i have used a lot of coins.
Only when the app will be released we will see the real value of this coin. Exchanges and partnership are just news and nothing more.

If it will be easy to use and fast , the coin will have success. If not , it will fall . This is a very fast growing and aggressive market. Projects come out every day, and more will come. A lot will fail, others will be overcome by new projects. And so on.... its the market law.
As i said, i am personally only waiting for the app. I am a holder and dont care about exchanges,news or partnership. I am only focused on the project itself
I agree, but technology alone will not make this coin a success. You have to have real world deals with mobile carriers to catapult large adoption. There is plenty of money in the kitty to deal with any technical problems ;-)
Real world deals will only come with a good product and for this coin, its the app.
If the app will be successful, then more partnerships with mobile carriers and other strategic investors will be agreed and then this project snowballs.
So MaxiCripto is very right when he says the success of Electroneum is tied to the app.

Some rumor say that Hitbtc did reject the listing request for ETN, could be linked to the block 202612 bug still not fixed on the blockchain.
Not sure if this is true or not but this could explain why the price is falling so fast since 24h .

I follow this project since weeks and I must agree this team seem like to be very amateur using a simple copy of the monero code nothing else was done to improve it just another copy who will face same bugs monero did have.

This is a serious issue that ETN has to address.
It's a shame that this is being brought to the attention of Electroneum Limited by HitBTC.
I have always thought ETN are great marketers and poor devs and this development only strengthens that belief.

If we noticed then the price of PPT continues to rise and now has reached 400k satoshi, I sure will get 0.01 btc soon, maybe it will happen in february before china new year.

I was very suspicious because they didn't have BTC/ETH and BTC/USDT pairs but I thought I was being paranoid. I also asked them if they were giving a full bitcoin or a fraction of it but they didn't reply either. There were signs that this was a scam and I thank you for confirming that it is indeed one. I hope you didn't lose money.
A lot of politics and possibly market manipulation going on with BCH at the moment. They are trying their level best to have a huge market cap that would rival bitcoin and end game is to claim that they are the real bitcoin. As the above poster has said, Bitcoin's mempool is spammed in order to get people to adopt BCH. This is a dirty tactic that is unfortunately working.
I'm a little concerned with the influx of newbie accounts creating ANN threads.
A newbie account should not be judged based on just being a newb but if you have a newbie announcing a coin/token/fork without putting a decent effort to the write up copy, white paper, a polished website then it doesn't inspire much confidence.
