sports betting ruined me

I started betting on Stake in 2021, and I experienced what is called "beginners luck". I won some substantial money, but convinced myself I was an expert and could never lose...until I did.

Fast forward nearly 4 years and all I have to show for it is $100,000 in losses, $100,000 I could have used to buy gifts for loved ones, $100,000 I could have used to pay off student loans, and oh by the way, they are going to close my account if I don't verify soon. I was just scrolling through some of my betslips from the last few months, and I found this parlay I almost won. 6/7 of my predictions won, and it would have been close to $134,000 in winnings. That would have been my total net losses + my debts paid off!

Betslip for those who would like to laugh at me: https://ibb.co/238DxBY

I'm simply tired of this. I will not be verifying the account because I've decided that I will not be betting anymore. I've put myself in a difficult situation and I have many restless nights and nightmares because of this. I don't think I'm a bad sports bettor, in fact many of my predictions win, but I am addicted to parlays and I have been chasing my losses for too long. The pressure was just too much for me.

I hope that everyone who reads this has better luck than me and I wish you all a happy New Year. I am done. Smiley

$1,000 to return $2,120

Also, I was intrigued regarding on the second to last bet on APOEL Nikosia, as someone who has lived in Nicosia, how did you predict that they'd win against Fiorentina? I personally would have expected the exact opposite outcome.

It was a handicap option, he would have won even if the game would have ended in a draw, so it's not like he expected Nicosia to win.
Anyhow, with OP's history of claiming millions and then claiming he is banned from withdrawing millions and then miraculously betting again on the same website he is banned, I will take this with one large grain of salt, maybe the betting slip is real but then I highly doubt the numbers.

If you are being restricted by one casino because of the winning non-a particular game, why not take your betting to someone else's reputable casino?

Stop believing what everyone claims around here when they have no proof of that but a history of making up stuff.

it must suck having the brain of a pigeon, it's almost as if I'm able to create a new account with a VPN or buy accounts with betting history, ya ever think about that? NO, because you have the brain of a pigeon, I'm gonna call you pigeon brain from now on

I did win on Trump. Unfortunately it was obvious that they would not elect a female as President. The odds were also quite obvious. When I saw all the big bets on Kamala coming in late, I knew Trump would win. I think a lot of people are happy they won money, but aren't quite happy with Trump being elected President. Many of the biggest bettors aren't even from the USA which I find kinda funny. Grin

When Kawhi left Toronto, I was very upset. Sad Now I see him injured with the Clippers and he will never win a Championship again. If he had stayed with Toronto, I'm sure he would have had another chance, with the team the Raptors had. No other star player in NBA history would leave the team he just won a Championship with. But he chose going home vs competing for another Championship. Do I think it's slightly selfish? Yes. But I guess I can thank him for helping my team win a Championship at the very least. Smiley

Even if you start with $2 and go all in every bet @ 2.00 odds, after 19 bets you will be at $1,000,000. Or if you start with $500, it takes 9 all in bets to reach $1,000,000. It is possible.

Even without proof, I still doubt he can turn $100 into $10k. Every time he loses, he has to start from scratch, so it’s likely he’ll just get tired of posting because he can’t reach the goal. I wonder how his last bet went - any updates? Sorry to ask, I’m not too into football or soccer betting.
He update with new reply but still he doesn't give screenshot of his bet ID. We can only check the match or visiting Stake.com to see if he wins or lose. Many of us doubt with his bet so he really need to show the proof to us.

UPDATE: There seems to be some confusion in the thread regarding Bet #3, I originally deleted it because I cashed out BEFORE the second half began, but I fell asleep before I could update the thread, I'm sorry! Sad It wouldn't have made a difference because Bet #4 lost. Undecided I have updated my post with links to my betslips where you can see every bet I placed. I will start again with a fresh $100 balance and hopefully I can succeed this time, and I will try to avoid live bets from now on! Smiley

Bet #1: MLS: Inter Miami CF - Atlanta United FC

Over 1.5 Goals 1st Half @ 1.92 odds (via Stake)

$100 to return $192
Where is the link? You say you want to add the link.

I wonder what is your balance position since beginning? How much winning you already got?

I updated my post with links, so if you click on "Over 1.5 Goals 1st Half @ 1.92 odds, it will open the betslip. I also responded to someone with the link above. I am currently at $192, I am attempting the challenge for the second time. Smiley

Glad to see you’re back! Good luck with that - getting a long streak is key to hitting your goal, so here’s hoping you make it this year.

Mind sharing the bet slip?

This is strange to me that you can compare the difficulty of winning in casino games with sports betting, you are the first person I've seen defending this, sports betting has been better when it comes to better fairness, more accurate predictions and earnings.

I think that’s true, no matter how we compare sports betting and casino games. Experts often say they prefer sports betting because it’s a game of skill, unlike casino games, which rely 100% on luck. It also depends on how we approach our gambling journey, but personally, I’d go with sports betting over casino games if we’re talking about long-term betting.

Thank you for the encouraging words! Smiley I hope I'm able to achieve the goal this time around.

Hi, I am unable to post screenshots as a newbie, nor do I want to pay to be able to post a screenshot. Sad I am documenting my predictions and bets. I don't understand the obsession with screenshots. When I am allowed to post screenshots I will, or if you want to DM me I can send you the screenshots there.

You just need to use the service https://imgbb.com by uploading the saved image there, and then copying the link to it and posting it in your post. It's completely free, but at the same time there will be more trust in your forecasts.

By the way, why did you delete your third forecast: "Bet #3: Costa Rica: Primera Division: Santos de Guapiles - AD Municipal Santa Ana. Over 2.5 Goals LIVE @ 2.45 odds (via Stake.com) $223 to return $546.35" - https://ninjastic.space/post/64715557

Is it because your prediction turned out to be wrong and the challenge is over?

Hi, I updated my post with the reasoning for the deleted post, and I have taken your advice and posted the links to each bet for better clarity. I hope this clears up any confusion! Smiley

Will I really lose access to my account if I don't verify by January? Sad
Yes, that's why you have to comply to KYC to verify your account so do it before the deadline.

I refuse to upload my documents because I was told I would never have to do so. I guess they lied to me when I signed up.

I will accept your bet. $10 is yours if I lose the challenge. Grin I can always try again if I lose. But I do have experience betting and I have achieved this type of challenge many times before. The only difference now is I am documenting it for others to see. Smiley

What you post is not documented) You need to post here a screenshot of your bet that you are making on Stake.com. Otherwise, the fact of the bet itself is unconfirmed and I get the impression that you do not bet real money in the casino, limiting yourself only to your forecast for Bitcointalk.

Can you share your bet slip? I'm more interested to follow your thread if you can give the proof instead of your words only.

I have no idea with the tournament and the teams you bet, with the odds higher than @1.50 it means it's quite risky, if you fail in your first bet, then it's already over. Tongue

I still remember there was an user who gamble his money which should be used to pay for tuition fees, he did share his bet, but he ended up losing all of his money.

Hi. I am not able to post screenshots as I am currently a newbie. Sad But I will write out each bet so people know exactly which league and match I am betting on. It's okay if you don't believe that the bets are real, you don't have to follow them! Smiley This is more of a journal of my bets than anything, and I will make sure each bet is posted before the match begins, for full transparency. This thread should be treated as a prediction thread, not serious betting advice. I don't want anyone to lose money following me. Tail at your own risk! Grin
