Update from the team of XSH
XSH have just recently passed block #790,000, and the fork block #800,000 is coming very soon!
In preparation for the fork, we recommend all users to simply keep their v2 wallets closed. Please keep your wallet.dat file backed up (in multiple places if possible), and await further instructions (which will be given after the fork, and after its stability has been verified).
There is a possibility that if you keep your wallets open, you would receive blocks past #800,000, but they will be invalid on the main chain (pools and exchanges have received a supplementary wallet update to prevent this).
Due to the vast differences in v2.x and v3.x and the integration of years of updates to Bitcoin Core, we are taking this approach to make the transition as clean as possible, by minimising interference with the old wallet code.

I have a question,sorry but I'm not so confident with forks and I don't want to lose my XSH
So,we have passed block 793417 now,I have the QT desktop wallet,I exported in *.dat format my wallet data.
As far as I understood all,i have to keep closed my V2 QT wallet,waiting for the V3 then import *.DAT file onto new v3 wallet?

Coin work very very slow.... 110 PoS confirmation take me 8h ..... this is small joke :/ and i cant use my funds

In other words is better if "normal" users buy the coin.
Whales dump as fast as they pump.

All this FUDs needs to stop now because now it really started to hurt the project. Suddenly all the attention BETA launch was receiving has now switched to NICO

It seems as shield is one of the few not recovered so well from the market dump of yesterday.
Today was not so bright for shield value....hope on next days.
It seems as somebody wants to keep the value low.

If there are open orders for 1100,1080 and 1020 sat on buy....why do you sell at 1020,the third on the list?
Ok I know many trades use arbitrage tactics to level off the exchanges,but on "big" coins,usually..

I'm having somer issues with the usual batch miner string I'm using since 1 month.
This:
cminer-alexis -a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://xsh.umine.org:4533 -u MYWALLETADDRESS -p c=XSH
After the launch of .bat:
[2018-01-16 20:58:42] Starting on stratum+tcp://xsh.umine.org:4533
[2018-01-16 20:58:42] NVAPI GPU monitoring enabled.
[2018-01-16 20:58:42] 1 miner thread started, using 'lyra2v2' algorithm.
[2018-01-16 20:58:57] ...retry after 30 seconds
[2018-01-16 20:59:54] ...retry after 30 seconds
And so on. It seems as today it does not connect,the string "...retry after 30 sec" goes on infinite loop.
Am I doing something wrong? or there is something staked with lyra2v2?

I just downoladed the desktop version of Cryptopia,is really good.
Maybe devs can launch a crowdfunding to list on cryptopia...If so,I'm in.

I had a look just now to stocks.exchange,seems as XSH trading stuck by firs 2 rows (both buy and sell) with out of range orders.
Seems as somebody want the price keeps down.

Is it nice to mine directly on the QT win wallet ? Does the wallet work well ?
Yes I do this since 1 month,no problems at all. Payments arrive in real time.
Just some delay on the first startup of the day to syncronize with blockchain.
I use QT wallet with no problems,hope for a mobile version.

I think XSH coin need some time. Is around only since 4 months and it made a huge grow in value.
You compared with XVG,but Verge is around since February 2016..
Sure I may be wrong,but I decided to give XSH more time to evaluate this coin.
Simply avoid to use Stocks.Exchange because now there withrawals are locked,so do not waste your time,simply choose another exchange,like Cryptobridge,that is working fine.
