I think it is both BTC and BCH.
BCH is the 2nd generation of BTC. Yes, it is the BTC fork.

Re: BTC dump and Prices Falling- Hold Tight!!!
by

Dump is an absolutely natural process. Bitcoin grew from $ 5,000 to $ 11,000 for the month.
Quite naturally, many want to take their profits, which leads to a certain reduction.
I think BTC will go up again in a couple of days. And most likely we'll see how bitcoin reaches 15,000 USD.

A huge dump is not an natural process. It is a control of big whales.

I really wonder that see the price of bitcoin price . now price of bitcoin 9038 usd .
can any one explain why this pump??
someone told that bitcoin hard fork is coming that's why this price pump .

Now the price of bitcoin is over $10,000.
Actually the forks are not a main reason to grow the bitcoin price. According to me the main reason is the demand.

Re: Satoshi Day
by
Crypto_Zone

Okay, since it needs to be done, and somebody's gotta do it, I'm naming the day when one satoshi is on even par with one USD penny as "Satoshi Day". The US dollar is the symbolic de facto fiat and the penny is the smallest unit. A satoshi is the smallest bitcoin unit. When 1 penny = 1 satoshi, we're there.

Things are not as far away as one might think. A single penny is worth only 110 satoshi right now. And with bitcoin rising, that satoshi-to-penny ratio is dropping. Maybe somebody with better math skills can figure out what one penny was worth in satoshi a year ago...must have been a few hundred satoshi to one penny. It's happening.

Traditions will be needed when the Satoshi Day comes. Fireworks? Songs? Lighting your favorite fiat bill on fire and launching it with one of those Chinese lantern things?

You are 100% correct. The BTC will be the future currency surely.

Re: Bitcoin is not gambling
by
Crypto_Zone

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

Bitcoin is a currency.  You cant say money is gambling itself.  But if you invest your money and convert it into bitcoin,  now it is gambling.  Because you take a risk investing your money to a volatile currency hoping it would rise up in the coming days,  but you know it might also drop.  There is still win or lose in it,  so basically its still gambling.  The process is gambling,  not bitcoin itself.

Nicely explained. Every profit leads to a lost.

Some exchangers are charging more than 0.0005BTC(more than $8) now.
So I think that fee(0.0002) is fair.

Normally it will deposit/withdraw after 2/13 confirmations, and it is depending on the coin your are dealing.

Re: Bitcoin is going down.
by
Crypto_Zone

Is it time to buy? :-)

Yes you can buy now, because the price dropped down a bit lastly, and it is expected to rise again highly in the future. The Bitcoin's price is volatile of course, and it is going up and down everytime, but generally the price's chart show us that bitcoin's doubled so many times in the few previous years. So if you are looking for long term holding, you can buying now, and store your coins until the price go up again.

Is it good and safe to keep coins in exchanges? Or should I use a hardware wallet?
